Just noticed that RPC is going to be listed on comkort.com. I guess, actually, because there is an RPC icon there along with other promising currencies.

Oh, the saying among traders is that it is a bad sign if you can see to the bottom of the buy list.

I say, who cares.

Creating (and later canceling) 200 orders on an exchange as slow as coinedup (2 minutes per post/cancel) will take 400 x 2 minutes of our time. That time can be better spent elsewhere.

Guys I need your help.

The sellorder list is always longer on coinedup. That way it looks like the coin isn't worth much, because there are more people that sell than buy. But most sell offers are just ridiculously high offers that don't make sense.

Let's just create 200+ buy-orders which are ridiculously low that it doesn't make sense, but just to make the list longer.

And what will that result in?

Great stuff Colin.  This is the sort of thing we need to introduce noobs gently.

I don't see p2pool on your pool list.  Please add it.  RonPaul is a decentralized power kind of guy, and we should be too!

Also, if you could write up a noob friendly p2pool howto, that would be amazing.

I wrote a quick howto a few pages back in this thread that you could use for starters.  I just haven't found time yet to spell out the pre-requisites, eg:  how to install python, download from github without git installed, etc.  Also, I'm not a windows guy, so would probaby miss some things.

May the force bit with you.

Should re-update and make the fork happen at 13500 (25 blocks away) instead of 13650 (200 away). Hashrate is diminishing day by day, this fork needs to happen sooner. At the rate its going now, its not going to reach the fork a for a few weeks if not longer.

No way can this happen. 13650 is it, just allow it to happen.  I still have 4 old nodes on my connection.

Sorry to ask this again, but I can't make it run (the new client) in Ubuntu 13.10 64 bits. Is anybody here using it too?

I appreciate any help, thanks.

Do you just want a binary for Ubuntu 13.10 64-bit? I can compile one for you tonight if you like.

Thank you very much, Ill wait for the official one, but I really appreciate your help, man.

Tranz, thanks a lot to you too, cheers!  Smiley

I failed to include this in the linux repo for the offical site. I will compile one here in just a bit and you can use it. Sorry about that.

I don't know if it is anyone here mining on the p2pool with address RX2cvnf9XcdrWnx1FwJGYPtn4BqRxDh8bZ but you have been submitting only DOA for the last 6 hours, seems kinda pointless ;-)

Also, I made the webinterface available on port 80 for those of you that need to go through a company proxy to check on their miner.

As the creator of this coin, if you feel my efforts were worth something, kindly donate to me:  RVoNR4t7oA1cC5AnhU1M1LybEiHqeguazm   (RonPaulCoin address)
I spent quite a while setting this all up and pulling my hair out for several days on end.  It even cost me some money. Thank you and I appreciate all of your help.

Just sent colin a small donation. He should know it when he sees it as the numerical value is small but interesting. It's actually 5% of my holdings lol.

If anyone else hasn't donated anything to the dev there is no time like the present.
