If you have multiple accounts on your trezor, it shows "newsletter not subscribed" for all.
There should be a checkbox "I already subscribed".

Could you please post a picture of it? I have a few accounts and I don't see anything similar to what you described. I have refused to sign for a newsletter and it seems that I don't get any warnings about it. They could have included the information about the social media in the box instead of making unnecessary changes to the software which some people are concered about (e-mail being somehow linked to the device).

Also they are currently supporting less coins then Ledger so not sure if that was the right choice.

I used to own a Ledger Nano S, but I decided to sell it. I had problems with long loading times of their Chrome wallet. Quantity doesn't mean quality.

When will the Model T be available on the website?
I missed the preorder.

According to their Twitter and Telegram chat, somewhere in the Q2 2018. I would expect new sales somewhere near June.

Is it possible to restore a trezor one wallet into trezor t if the trezor one also used a password?

By password you mean a passphrase? You can enable it in the device settings on the TREZOR wallet website. You should be able to see your bitcoins after you restore your seed properly and enter the correct passphrase.

So far I have been able to restore the trezor one into trezor t, but it doesn't give the option to put down a password, thus not allowing me to access certain wallets.

No one could tell that for sure, after initial demand gets settled you can expect for stores to actually have some stocks available.

Ledger and Trezor 1 are on stocks everywhere, so if you don't want to buy exactly this T model for some reason you can help yourself with cheaper model and have it right now without waiting.

So does anyone know how many were made for preorder of the model t and if when they will they be releasing the next batch and how many are in that bunch?

There were 4 pre-order batches. Every of them had a different price and amount of available devices. As far as I remember it was:
Batch 1: 1000, Batch 2: 2000, Batch 3: 3000, Batch 4: 4000. We can assume that there were more than 10 thousand devices (developers, review samples and a few replacement ones). Pre-orders were available for a long time. Batches number 1 and 2 were sold out at the first day. Batch 4 was available for at least a week.

So far, they said that Q2 2018 seems to be the date of the next batch. We don't know how many devices or going to be in it.

I have Pre-ordered mine with Alzashop in Europe, they said device will probably be delivered on last day of March.
But they are selling 50-100 pieces a day so not sure if they will be able to deliver all devices at once due to limited production.

Also they are currently supporting less coins then Ledger so not sure if that was the right choice.

I just received my Trezor T today and was trying to get it running. However, when installing the firmware, it keeps getting stuck at 25%..

Anyone noticed this problem and knows how to get around it?

EDIT: I got around it by connecting it to my smartphone instead of PC.

Electrum 3.1.1 was just released with updated Trezor T support: https://electrum.org/#download (3.1.0 also had support, but there indeed were some issues - so maybe this fixes it for you too.)

Thank you very much for the information. I was waiting for this update. Electrum would hang during the process of detecting TREZOR T, now it works great.

Do we have any videos of SD-card slot actually being used for something in these phase or is that option just to be future proof for some new coins?

Right now, SD card slot is only used for updating the bootloader. SD card could be used for locally saving labels (right now this stuff is being encrypted on your Dropbox account) and Lightning Network information about your opened channels etc. TREZOR also plans to implement storage which would be encrypted with your private key. However, it will take them some time to release this feature. Let's hope it won't be as "futureproof" as Bluetooth in Ledger Blue which was discontinued.

Does anyone know if there is any way to build custom transactions? I want to control exactly which addresses are used as inputs and I want to control what address the change is going to. Mostly though, the change address is the important part, so that I don't inadvertently link my addresses together.

You may try Electrum. You can control which addresses you spend from with the 'freeze' feature (only unfreezed addresses will be used). I'm not sure about the change address though. There's a setting under 'Preferences' (use change address) but not sure what this will do if unchecked.

GPG is cool too but what about just a Secp256k1 signature like the original trezor does? You know, on the "sign and verify" tab of wallet.trezor.io?

Oh, I thought you were talking about GPG all the time, my bad. Touchscreen works great, I don't have to use a lot of pressure - it feels just like a smartphone. On the video you might notice some black lines, this issue has been already reported here. My hand was shaking a bit, I'm not used to recording using only one hand. Before making this video, I have changed my PIN and decided to use different passphrase. It was difficult for me to type in a passphrase because I usually hold the device in my hand, it is much more comfortable.

Well it wasn't the answer I was hoping for but it is the answer to my question. Thank you.

For anyone who doesnt feel like watching the whole video, the trezor model T does not appear to improve upon the message signing capabilities of the original trezor in any way.

Message me a bitcoin or monero address. Which ever you prefer.
