Seems that those dota2 patches prove to be more harm than good towards the teams playing.
Even if they were supposedly applied pre-match to improve gameplay.
Why not wait until these rather large tournaments are over then decide to apply them?
They are affecting those team's strategic game-play they had been practicing prior to the patches.
I don't know what's up with Valve as they've dropped the new patch and update during these tournaments. Usually they drop these updates after main tournaments but it's different this time.

Going on with the Elite League. I have bet for Execration against Shopify Rebellion as the series winner. I just can't resist the odds made by stake on their last map. If I lose, I lose with them.

As for this match, I was able to catch up and the game was already in the midst of it and Execration was about to lose having their bottom barracks and mid were destroyed already but good thing a clash in the bottom lane gave them that comeback momentum. And here are the other bets that I've made for this Elite League Season 2. I'm still thinking if I'd bet for Execration against OG because they'll have a match again later but they're probably exhausted with their match against SR.

We have matches in the Blast Premier Fall groups being played very early as Complexity are up against Spirit already up 4-7 on the first map.

LGD Gaming lost against Team Spirit.
LGD was good at building early leads against Team Spirit yesterday, they did it twice in a row, but they couldn't convert it to anything since they struggled in the mid to late team fights.

I've noticed they're still picking the same heroes most of the time, but at least we get to see an unusual Muerta carry from Team Spirit over the stable carry picks like Troll and Ursa.
They have been used to that strategy and I guess that they'll learn from this mistake.

So Nigma vs G2.IG tomorrow. Nigma lost against them on group stage but it should be over 2.5 maps again
We'll probably see the same script again as Nigma now won the first map one-sidedly.  Tongue

Nigma has been impressive on the first round which is the group stages but then, on the playoffs, they've fallen to the hands of LGD Gaming and now
LGD is just too good when it comes to important matches like these, we saw them pull through a bunch of tiebreakers and deciding matches during the Riyadh Masters recently.

We could see the same story in their lower bracket matchup, likely going all three maps, and could go either way with Talon's clean win against VP yesterday.

The two big favorites later today in the upper semis sounds like a good combo and even the map handicap for better odds.
I agree and we've got the same analysis for LGD gaming. They're always have those weak moments on group stages or early stages of the tournaments that they're participating. But then, they're changing their form into a better one when it's come to the playoffs. And speaking of Talon, they've lost against Nigma Galaxy and LGD Gaming lost against Team Spirit. Well, that's a different story there and most of these teams are going all in now and I guess the patch has something to do with this. Whichever team gets to adopt with the updates of this current patch and able to use it for their advantage. NaVi also won against Azure Ray. 6 teams left on this tournament, 3 chinese teams, 1 from the upper bracket and 2 from the lower bracket.

This is not a patch for Spirit and you are right by picking LGD +1.5 as this patch is slowly transit towards China region where they prefer to farm between mid to late game and that is where they are winning the games.

That was what I thought at the first place but it seems Team Spirit is just way too much for LGD to handle. Pretty decent overall for me because I bet on NaVi to win as well so yeah thats break even. It still bamboozle me how LGD couldnt even win a map, it wasnt even that hard to begin with as Team Spirit wasnt that dominating as usual

Currently , we have Xtreme Gaming vs IG.G2 and it seems G2 will take first map against Xtreme and I will not be surprised if they will win by 2-0 this series because lately Xtreme had bad games and bad series from DreamLeague , Riyadh and now Snow Rui.

Later on , we have Elite League season 2 play-offs time and OG vs Spirit should be the best game to watch and honestly , I don't expect OG to even win a map.
I nearly thought XG would get 2-0'd when I saw their draft not looking as good and the odds are still even 30 minutes in the second map. They somehow made the bloodseeker carry work and IG quickly fell apart in overcommitting to picking off xinq's phoenix. The final map got a bit wild with both sides flexing their possible mid heroes (Sand King and Timbersaw).

I also have the same thoughts on OG's series against Team Liquid, despite Team Liquid's shaky results in the group stage they could easily have a clean performance here.

This patch was really on a bad timing. I am yet to see how it is going to be with these big tournaments that are happening now.

Watching some games to see if there will be new meta heroes that they've discovered and for sure that these teams are going to apply it to their opponents.

It is exciting but at the same time, scary for these teams. But this is the job of their analysts and coaches and that's why they're hired for. G2 x IG and Xtreme gaming currently 1(IG)-0(XG).

Exactly which is why Im betting on them against Team Spirit

Team Spirit is pretty good when it comes to playoff but winning a single map shouldnt be that hard for LGD, they will have 2 chance to win one time and that is all I need from them

The odds for Team Spirit to win -1.5 is also around the same number as this so yeah playing in front of their own crowd, I dont see why LGD cant win once

As for my bet on Clavision, so far I've won the first match of LGD and Nigma Galaxy. LGD gaming won while my bet for Virtus.Pro and Talon Esports is currently in game.

Glad that I didnt bet on this. My toxic trait would bet on Nigma for real lol, I cant seems to not bet on them most of the time but yeah this time I decided that it over 2.5 maps seems to be the wiser choice regarding Nigma

Odds is decent, both over and under had the exact same odds. Nigma to win had odds around 1.5, pretty lame though

Anyway, just for the update of the Clavision: Snow Ruyi on the playoffs below for visibility of everyone here:

Bet on FaZe yesterday right after the half of map 2 @1.40x and won that bet against C9.
So with that win I am backing them to take this group tournament in Blast. Grin
They were the favorites to win it all going into this tournament ss one of the announcers explained it.
And from this statistics sheet of their tournaments so far in the year, are not doing too bad either:

They are just about to kick-off the top of today's matches with G2 in the Blast Premier Fall session:

And for the Elite league Season 2. Execration has won my bets so I'd stay with them. I'd also chosen nouns as they're doing great as well. The rest, they're just my random choices.

If those two underdogs ended up winning then you are a genius. I personally think Execration might have their chance to win considering that OG has qualified so they probably wouldnt really care wether they win or lose in this game.

On another side, Nouns have qualified while Team Liquid hasnt so yeah Team Liquid might even try harder against Nouns. This seems like another potential game that could scream over 2.5 maps though
Too bad that these two have lost. Execration lost 2-0 against OG but that's fine. Nouns was so close beating Team Liquid and I thought that they'd snatch that series because they're able to force it into 3rd map but still lost the game. Anyway, I am 2-2 on my bets.

Heard Team Liquid were beaten over the weekend in dota2 but from the sounds of it their losing streak is continuing on in the tournament.

As for Blast Premier Faze took the first map in their match against Cloud9 but from the looks of it they will be tied soon.
From yesterday's matches the usual suspects won with favorites taking their games.
Today's are kind of a flip of the coin with the following taking the stage in these group matches:
G2 vs NiP
Navi vs BiG
Virtus.Pro vs Team Liquid

Back to regular betting for Dota 2 tournaments, this first one is for the Clavision: Snow Ruyi.

I know that Nigma galaxy is doing great so far on this tournament but I'd go with the LGD gaming. And as for Talon against Virtus.Pro, I've been impressed of how Talon did during the TI qualifiers.

Me too.

Tomorrow, they will be up against two teams. G2.IG and Talon Esports. If they're able to beat the strong teams that I have mentioned.

Then, these two are possibly to be beaten by them as well. And later on will be the third and final day for the group stages and, one day rest and we head off to the playoffs.

I will watch and bet on them tomorrow.

If they could beat G2.IG tomorrow then they have beaten like top 4 or top 3 current strongest chinese team and that is a massive feat that they have done. Most of us that love Nigma probably wont even remember the last time they actually manage to beat decent team in an offline tournament, they were basically laughing stock whenever they usually play
Unfortunately, they've lost against G2.IG but it was a 2-1 score and the series ended not in favor of Nigma Galaxy. However, they've won against Talon Esports but the game also ended with a 2-1 score for the series.

And with that, they're placed above the bracket for the playoffs and it's actually a good start for them.

Team Spirit and G2.IG advances on the upper bracket semi finals.

Team Liquid looks awful without Blitz being there with them to help with draft and as far as I know they hired an extra draft analyzer to help them for this Peru Elite Season 2 but it works kinda bad for them until now so I won't expect Liquid to actually perform well.

On the other side , we have Nigma who is still having a great performance of Dota 2 and I won't be surprised if we actually see them playing the semi-finals or even the finals. Kuroky should also retire and simply let his team prosper without him.
