Congrats to SMG, Entity and Quest for making it to TI surviving the brutal qualifiers!  Grin

SEA Qualifiers is so tough and many teams now is not on the list of the top teams we always see in the TI qualifiers, example the team Liquid with Kuro after Miracle- get hiatus in the game the Team Nigma Galaxy doesn't perform well, another thing is Team Secret this year they skip the TI for almost 11 years Puppey keep trying to attempt to have this Aegis. AFAIK they made an announcement that Entity and EG is now have an invite to the TI, Gabbi really carry this Entity so hard, so fun the community makes a meme to Gabbi and Armel.

Huge upset in esl pro league today, as movistar again win 2-0 beating GL. I was really confident on GL and they dont even win a map  Huh

Esl pro league is the hardest csgo tourn to bet on for me Sad
Yeah they've been playing so well in EPL, dominant 2-0 against FURIA and GamerLegion. Can't wait to see them playing against Vitality, the odds is stacked against them at the moment (7.40) Cheesy

My bets for today. Hoping for an upset from GamerLegion against Astralis.

For me, it's CSGO as a whole and the amount of upset happening each day is similar to baseball, tennis, and hockey.

Congratulations to all three of them. I have watch majority of the games from these qualified teams and it seems too easy for them when it has come to their last qualifying matches.
I agree they had a shaky start in the first few days and kept improving as they progressed further in the qualifiers. Also, it was interesting to see a few unexpected teams (Luna Galaxy, Blacklist, and Team Zero) get pushed to their full potential.

Congratulations to all three of them. I have watch majority of the games from these qualified teams and it seems too easy for them when it has come to their last qualifying matches. I'll just wanna talk about the offlaner of Entity who was replaced now by Gabbi which is Tobi. When Entity has kicked them, it's obvious that he's the weakest link of the team. And when he's transferred to Quest Esports, both Entity and Quest Esports became stronger. So, his transfer did the better for both teams and they're going to meet Entity's former offlaner in the TI.

I have no problem with the current roster of OG. It is just that WEU competition is really high.
Super agree to this, even the division 2 team is now very hard ro defeat and sometimes can beat div 1 team on close match just like what happens to Nigma.
It's the best region, no Team Secret this time, no OG, no Nigma again. I think that the easiest region for this qualifier is the South America region. NA is quite easy as well, Dendi and his B8 team transferred there but a controversy has been brought by Quinn that they were not really playing in the NA but somewhere in Europe or in Ukraine but still, they didn't win the qualifier.

Another sad day for Kuro and the team. They've won 1 game but that's not enough. I think they have to plan well the next TI, TI13. And from there, they need to get prepared for the minors and majors that will have DPC points and they should qualify from there. That is because if they're going to go through the qualifiers, this is the tough way unlike through the DPC points, they've got all year round to acquire not unless Valve changes this system.

They have been in the decline for the past few years. They are trying hard but the competition in WEU is really hard so earning DPC points is tough. I do think their roster is not already enough for them to qualify for TI. Kuroky is not the same Kuroky that championed in TI before. His mechanical skills cannot compete with the young players anymore. He is still very strong in strategy so maybe he could retire and just be a coach. He should let the younger players take his spot in the team.
Yeah, it's tough but I think it is the better path and road if they ever want to be in TI next year. Because going through this qualifier is tough and hell. A few slots for each region unlike before that there's the wild card but basically, this is it and just reinvented the process.
I agree that it's no longer a prime Kuro. Just look at Notail and Jerax, they know that they're not on their prime anymore which Jerax became a coach for Team Liquid but I don't know where he is right now. While notail, he's just good as like in the management of OG. Ceb is still playing though but not also on his prime anymore. Kuro needs to transition and just be a scout for new talents and become a coach.

It’s really painful but Ceb is already just enjoying the so his has no hard feelings when he lose. OG current core players is not phenomenal unlike Ana and Topson during their prime when the dominate TI.

Both Kuroky and Ceb are just enjoying Dota2. I believe they doesn’t care much any more whether they win or lose. As a fan of both OG and Nigma, I’m already happy just to watch them still competing on top tournaments.

Yeah, Ceb really love DOTA and still wants to compete professionally even though he had won two TIs already. Unlike this other teammate who already retired from professional gaming.

OG manage to survive the lower bracket elimination by defeating easily Ancient Tribe. Do you manage to have a look on the odds because I saw on twitch before the match start that OG is the underdog in terms of winning rate percentage prediction on twict. I'm not sure if the odds on sportsbook is same but I remember that I saw 36% winning chance rate is assign to OG.

Next up is OG vs Ancient Tribe. Hopefully, OG will be able to win this series. I hate to see 2 legendary players eliminated on the same day, Kuroky and Ceb.

Noticed the qualifiers for TI happening earlier today with Team Secret up against OG. It was a fairly short match ending in a 2:0 result for Team Secret as @passwordnow has mentioned above.
Today, SEA and WEU matches are all for the lower bracket. However, with SEA, they're done for today and some teams were already eliminated from their TI dream in this qualifier. And currently, Nigma is just 1 loss away to be out of this qualifier against Alliance. As [A] has taken the first game. And after this match, it's going to be OG and Ancient Tribe.

SEA games are done early because they are ahead in the time zone. The game normally starts very early so most of us, especially those in EST time zone, will not be able to watch them.
Yeah, SEA is done for this day and WEU is on its last match. And by tomorrow, it's going to be the upper bracket for SEA and WEU.

Nigma Galaxy has just been eliminated by Alliance. They were able to force a 3rd map but at the end they were crushed by Alliance. In is sad that Kuroky will not be able to play in TI this year. If I am not mistaken, he was not able to play last year as well. I think Kuroky should start thinking of retiring. He is not helping his team anymore, and maybe, he is holding them down.

Plenty more matches to come before October.
Aside from this TI qualifier, there's BetBoom Dacha and DreamLeague Season 21.

For those who are Valorant fans look who decided to make an appearance at one of their tournament matches:

Didn't know Elon and Affleck were big enough fans of any Esports to attend a live event. Maybe some interest in purchasing a team such as Shaq had done.

SEA and WEU qualifiers have started. I've watched the match between Team Secret and OG, 2-0, and well done for Team Secret. As they advance to the next round and bracket, they're going to meet Entity as their next opponent. The good thing about this region is that they're going to have two qualified teams for the upper and lower brackets. A lot of desirable teams are on this but only two of them are going to get qualified. While for the SEA, too tough because only one team will qualify.

I was watching South America qualifiers earlier and I do not recognize many of the participants. The only teams I recognize are Thunder Awaken and Infamous.

I took a bet on Infamous in their match against Qhali. Unfortunately, it did not go well for me. Qhali eliminated them on the third map of their series.

Later will be the matches for the Upper Bracket semi-finals.

Thunder Awaken vs Keyd Stars : Thunder Awaken is the favorite to win this series and eventually, I think they will get one of the two slots available for TI 2023. The odd is @1.38 which is low but since they are the favorite to win, I think it is a good risk.

Acatsuki vs Infinity : Acatsuki is the underdog in this series but I watched their series against Infamous and they dropped them with ease in just under 25 minutes per map. That is quite a feat and if they will stay this focused on their series later against Infinity, I think they can overcome them.

Lava vs Madkings : Madking is the favorite @ 1.65 in their series against Lava and I agree. Lava was quite shaky in their execution in their match against Balrogs last night.

Unfortunately for Xtreme Gaming, they were not able to get past Azure Ray. They just won one map against Azure Ray. I was not able to make a bet on the game, but it was fun watching the finals. It is first time in a long time that I saw the Clockwerk's hookshot-cog-battery assault-blademail combo. It was a classic way of playing Clockwerk  and I have not seen it for a long time until today in Azure ray.
I'm glad they won since I had Azure Ray to win the series @1.4. The odds are a bit lower, but it felt closer than after watching the first few games were decided by a mistake or an overextension.

During that series, Brewmaster seems like a solid offlaner pick. It might become a priority pick after watching him survive several gank attempts despite being the lowest networth core. Clockwerk support is decent as well I watched the NA grand finals (Nouns vs B8) earlier and they're making this Clockwerk look busted together with the Grimstroke combo.

This has got to be the shortest tournament of any of counterstrike's matches to be notable enough to be held professionally, am I right?
If it's only between the number of series, it's probably the shortest since I can't recall a CSGO tournament that goes straight into the playoffs with a single elimination format.

Looks like the NA is about to end and Nouns is likely to get the slot, they're 2-0 already against B8. It's easy to counter B8, just ban Dendi's ES/Primal Beast and that's good already in the mid.
Whilst for Stonebank, ban his Night Stalker and Legion Commander and he don't have much any other good heroes that he has played with.
Watching them is painful because for 3 consecutive games (1 is currently being played now). That's what nouns did during the pickings and B8 looks like pub gamers, sadly.

The Gamers8 tournament ended earlier today after Vitality edged out ENCE in the decider map. I thought this would be ENCE's series to win because they looked clean throughout the tournament compared to Vitality, but Zywoo went ham after they lost the first map.

The LCK playoffs also finished with Gen G sweeping T1 in the grand finals. I would've thought it'll be a 3-2 win by Gen G, but T1 looked like a different team in this series.

Azure Ray is already waiting for the Finals. They will face either Team Zero or a rematch of the upper bracket finals, Xtreme Gaming.
I'm rooting for Xtreme Gaming to win the lower bracket finals, so we'd have decent odds for the grand finals.  Wink

Only managed to take note of maybe 5 matches and wagered on only about 3 of them intotal.
But it goes on the teams record which were involved, so it was good for Team Vitality I guess.
Next one the Blast Premier Fall series? Remember watching the qualifiers a couple of weeks ago for that one being held in Copenhagen.

Yes, they've been good with all of the tournaments that they have been. But looking at their performances, they're inconsistent and that's why if they ever have been good with the last run that they've got. Instead of BB taking the slot, it should have been them. Just a little more points and they should have been the qualified team. I know how it feels and how sad it was for them when they fell shortly but that's how this DPC points system goes.

I still think they deserve to qualify for TI. They fell short of qualifying through DPC points but if they put their acts together and be consistent, they should be able to get the last slot. I enjoy how they play the game and I hope they will qualify. There is only a week left before the SEA qualifiers begins so we will see if they can be consistent enough to snatch the TI slot from other strong contenders in SEA.
That's the problem that they're having with their last runs, the consistency that they've got in their tournaments. If they qualify, they deserve it and whichever team goes into that qualification as well since it's just going to be one, they also deserve it. While the CN has already made its representative and they're done, we'll see the next on the NA. EEU and SA is about to get started later on. There's so much talents in all of these regions but the best of the best shall get their slot on the TI. And speaking of TI, the ticket details are already out there. Azure Ray is on TI 2023! This team is looking deadly on map rotation and I can't wait to see more from them on TI as I can already see a deep tournament for them.
I just saw how they've dominated Xtreme Gaming. So for China, we've got the actual PSG.LGD team and the 3 former PSG.LGD players +2 = Azure Ray. And I can say that the MVP in all of their games is Fy. He did really well and he gave color on how to play with clockwerk in the last map that they've got. I'm giving props to JT-, he's such a good player and did really a lot of good RPs at most of the last map but that's still enough. I thought that it can do well with void + magnus but not enough. Congratulations to Azure Ray!

Next one is B8 vs Dogchamp and I have a feeling B8 and Dendi will make something great happened and make their way up to TI. I would be happy to see him at a TI after such a long period but with the current team , I doubt B8 can do great things in tournament.  Sad
I am waiting for this match, as of typing this, there's less than 30 minutes before the match proceeds. Most fans are cheering for him to be seen back in TI again as a player, not as a caster.
