Recently, Dota 2 released a huge update 7.36 that changed the game incredibly much.
Many jokingly call it Dota 3, or say that it was possible to designate this update as 7.40: it is so large-scale.

Each such update greatly changes the balance, and I am sure that the bookmakers are reviewing the odds on the teams, because not every gaming team will be able to easily adapt to the changes that have occurred.
I understand most of the players if they're calling it Dota 3. It was the same when we've got new patch about the shrine and tormentor.

We all will adap it soon but this time, there are a lot of things to discover. This is for the sake of meta and those that are strong, we will see if they remain strong for this new patch and update.

What is funny on this patch is about magnus reverse reverse polarity, to which hero its ultimate will be comboed with? puck maybe?

Its insane, how they can just change the game this much, if this happened in any other MOBA everyone would lose their minds,
However its a regular thing in dota now, its gets more complicated just when u think u understand it  Grin

I can't stop having fun in this patch of Dota 2 and it seems I managed to make a few people happy with my post because not anyone knew about this big change that happened over night in Dota 2. Cool

Also , this is just 2nd phase of CrownFall event with current one being Sands of Druud and we have 2 more phases before the event ends and I think the last one will be just before TI 2024 and if that will be correct , then we know for sure that is impossible to predict the winner. Like , who really knows that phase 3 will change of the game because it's clearly for now that a lot of heroes needs rework and some heroes needs big nerfs but also big buffs but until then , playing dota have never been so great.

Meanwhile, two games on lower bracket tomorrow. Totally leaning towards BB and AR. I'll just go with straight winner and not mess this one up, I just hope my confidence wont knock my sock off this time
I think that AR got this and if they win the series against Heroic, they're going to face their co-Chinese team, XG.

Meanwhile, I am watching the game of BetBoom and Aurora and it's already on the 2nd map. The first map was won by BetBoom and it's on the 18-minute mark there's still for sure a lot to happen despite that Aurora is in the lead.

The current kill score is 11-1 and that's in favor of Aurora Esports.

I also hope this big patch and big changes will nerf Falcons to the point they will not be able to win games or at least to dominate games that makes their game super boring to watch. ( I also hope they will reduce the toxicity of Amamr and Marline to the point they will be humble once again ).
After watching them play against XG earlier, it doesn't look like they'll be slowing down anytime soon since they still had a clean series or maybe that's just XG overcooking their drafts.

CCT Global Finals in CounterStrike is about to begin before we head back to Dallas for another tournament:

Based on the results, Eternal Fire managed to beat Team Liquid and they deserved it. I remember hearing from one of the CSGO co-streamers that Eternal Fire's IGL was close to switching to Valorant because he wasn't having much success with CS2.

Hope in Dota2 guys and play a game! The patch is incredible and makes the game so much more fun to play but also it's so funny to see pro players randomly picking heroes thinking they already solved the meta situation. Haha, I am for Marline to see him humble himself with this new patch and get stomped by most teams. But you know for Ammar, he's just retaliating when he's ever trashtalked.

Unlike to Malrine, he's always the first one to cross the line. But anyway, if a team crushes them and maybe it will be GG on this tournament, it's two birds with one stone.

I think that Malrine knows how to tilt Quinn but this one, I am with Quinn.  Tongue

It totally makes the game fresh because there are tons of new stuff to figure out which is great.

Nah it seems they figure it out alongside GG. Well Im actually glad that there is another team that seems to figure this patch out as well so Im really hoping up on how entertaining the games will be

Crazy prize pool are waiting for these invites. Tournaments after tournaments and they're all getting direct invite for the Riyadh Masters. Every players and teams are wanting to participate on it as if it's the same or better than The International.
The prize pool for the Riyadh Masters was recently announced through Twitter and it was around $5m, not as high as last year's tournament, but still, it's a lot of money for most teams.
The first place will still get $1,500,000.
The second place will get $800,000
Third price will be $600,000.
The amount for each placer is still good compare to the typical tournament that we've got for the first and second half of the year. Because the first place was always $300,000. So that's still 5x high.

And to give an update about the result of the group stages and also the upcoming playoffs that shall start tomorrow from the upper bracket, here you go:
I'm looking forward to the classic XG vs. Falcons rematch, and I can't imagine what the games would look like if Valve decides to drop a major patch before the playoffs.  Tongue
That will happen today after the first match of GG and Tundra Esports. And as you've said about the patch, the innate and facet, I'm dumbfounded with them and haven't checked it. For sure that most teams have been checking which hero are going to be OP for this patch.

We have missed this.
TNC Predator is back to DOTA 2!!

Teams below are the ones that are endanger of getting eliminated;
Looking at Group A, Xtreme Gaming should take the second upper seed by beating Heroic. They need a sweep to guarantee the spot while a draw puts them at a possible tiebreaker depending on how the Aurora/GG series will pan out.
Looks like that they are not yet tired and exhausted from the past tournament that they've participated and yes, they're the 2nd guaranteed for the playoffs for their group.

Team Liquid still has a good chance to make it out since they'll face PSG.Quest. You also forgot to include Navi in that list, they have the same record as Shopify Rebellion, and it'll be a miracle if they survive against Team Falcons.
Team Liquid got in with a tiebreaker against Heroic. And what an upset that this match has shown to all of us, Heroic did upset Team Liquid. YES! Heroic won against Liquid on 2-1 series.

Also, Tundra's top two finish in the group now puts them in the top 5 of the EPT leaderboard overtaking OG and Team Spirit to secure the sixth invite for the Riyadh Masters.

Going on with the Dream League Season 23 in a few hours. XG don't have that much rest and they're going to be with the first match against Aurora Esports. So we're again back to the group stages for this tournament. Here is the schedule for today, both group A and B, too many games today.
XG's first series ended with them sweeping Aurora, then later got swept by Gaimin Gladiators.

Surprisingly, the Navi/SR series is the only one that ended on a draw out of the 12 series that was played out today. If there's a team to fade throughout the groups it's probably SR since they're not looking that hot with their captain and support skem.

Team Falcons is back with their dominant performance and likely to finish first in Group B if they continue to roll every team from start to finish. For Group A there's Gaimin Gladiators, and they might do the same if they don't drop a map against Team Liquid.
The 2nd day has been finished and there are three teams that are now secured in the playoffs. Here they are;

For group A;
  • Gaimin Gladiators

For group B;
  • Team Falcons
  • Tundra Esports

And these are the teams that are endanger to get eliminated while one of them is already eliminated. Going on with the first eliminated team.

  • PSG.Quest

Looks like Dreamleague S23 is a 2-0 tournament so far with exception being Shopify Rebelion who likes to makes draws , because it seems they're current game against AR will end with 1-1.

I also watched all the GG games so far and I'm patiently waiting for them to lose a series 2-0 and next series against Liquid might be the one.

I'm also very impressed with Aurora games and I think they will secure play-offs with easy but also win next series 2-0 against Heroic.  Cool

Antimage is always been a good counter to Void and also Void is a good one against Antimage but if it's with the late game, Antimage has got the advantage since it won't just be a 1 v 1 game as it's still a team play. I think the mistake that XG did there is when they've bought back and still continue to clash when they've seen they're being teared 1 by 1. That's the mistake that they did but still a good match after all, when Team Spirit needs some money, they'll just go with the bigger prize pots tournament like this one and too bad that they are not a participant for this upcoming DL. However, XG is there.
TBH, the Faceless Void pick was good for XG, but XG lost the laning phase so hard that it made the game easier for Team Spirit, and they got to hit their item timings much faster. That buyback from XG during the rosh pit fight almost paid off after catching AM off guard near the ancient camp and forced a few buybacks from Team Spirit. Unfortunately, their SD was quick with the disruption save and it all fell apart from there.
Team Spirit did knew that they're on advantage by that time because they still have buy backs and Antimage has got the aegis, whilst for the XG. Their Void just bought back and if ever they kill him, that's the last clash and it did right. That save from mira really was paid off and boom, one mana void did it all for void.

I don't think that they'll ever disband at this moment, they've got the connection and they've won 2 TIs already but one with TorontoTokyo and with Larl. But the 4 remains intact and I think that the bond that they have made with their connection is hard to disband. So, before this year ends, we'll still have the next TI so I think that who knows if they make another history of winning 3 times in TI? Possible.
I also have the same thoughts, i'd be surprised if they suddenly decide to disband the team, and I can't imagine who can fill those roles better than their current players.
Their chemistry is different and they don't have language barrier and that's one requirement for a team to thrive when they have no communication and it's plus for them that they all speak Russian.
