Blast Premier spring final is starting in just about a day-

G2 are without monesy, so betting against them might be some easy money.

Overall i see spirit or vitality winning this. whoever wins Group B should take the tournament

Here's a snapshot of the current bracket. Other notable teams, LGD.Gaming, Azure Ray and G2 x IG.
It looks like G2.IG should cruise through Team Zero while the LGD vs. Azure Ray series will be tough.

I seriously cant wrap my head over the other teams aside from these 3. Personally Im more into G2.IG and LGD Gaming. G2.IG has proven that they are quite capable teams overall and LGD Gaming totally smacks AR's ass on the Riyadh qualifiers so yeah Im expecting them to do so again in TI qualifiers
I also view those teams as my top three in the same order since Azure Ray is underperforming or maybe KEV is just that good of a team.

The chart totally shows that either LGD/AR is going to play against G2.IG on Upper bracket final and the losers goes down to lower bracket finals so yeah Team Turtle is obviously going to have hard time facing those 3

Going on with some Dota 2 actions, we go to the China region for the The International Closed Qualifiers, two slots are going to be filled.
I am counting for the Team Turtle for this tournament but they are now in the lower bracket after beating the other good team that I consider which is Old Warrior. Well, for summarizing the roster of Team Turle, I am sure that many of you are familiar with these names;

  • Chalice
  • Somnus
  • Yang
  • planet
  • Siamese cat

The only difference with this team is Chalice playing for position 1 but he isn't new with that. Because before he became a known offlaner, that's where he came from.

There is a tournament that is happening in the United Arab of Emirates for CS2 and it is called Yalla Compass 2024.
Had not heard of this one before but it was created in Abu Dhabi and already concluded their spring tournament earlier in the year.
https://liquipedia.net/counterstrike/YaLLa_Compass/2024/Spring

The prize pool was smaller than this one which has reached $400,000 as the prize pool.
https://www.hltv.org/events/7475/yalla-compass-2024

Alot of well known teams are in it amongst Furia, NIP, Astralis and Heroic just to name a few.

It runs all weekend with their grand final on Sunday.

I have been watching it and there is pretty good series starting soon- mongolz vs astralis

Mongolz are underdogs but they should take one map atleast , whoever wins this will win the third map for 2-1

For furia-nip i am surprised by furia performance, that one is pretty hard to call but id go with NIP.
Surprisingly MongolZ took the match away from Astralis!

Here is the entire match if you missed it:
MONGOLZ vs ASTRALIS - YaLLa Compass 2024 - Playoff SF - MN cast
https://www.youtube.com/live/JXxqt2nm4sA

So it looks like we will have a Ninjas vs MongolZ Finals for today!
It begins in about 5 hours from now, so strap in because it is going to be a good one in the UAE with this surprise and a nice one to see to shake up the favorites.

If I have to speculate i'd also say RTZ since he's the only remaining core member in the squad while everyone else has moved on.

RTZ huh. Although there are many pos 1 that is way better than him, we just cant seems to hate this guy do we.
Sometimes we do, sometimes we don't.

His consistency is no longer consistent at all. While during his younger days, going back to a few years ago. He's at his peak but this time, he's not the same anymore.

While he is past of his prime already, he's still got the talent but I think just like any other pos 1 that has became older, they've shifted to other positions like support and offlane.

Maybe he should do.

The qualifiers for The International started so early this year right ? We are already in Open qualifiers and currently I'm watching Team Bald reborn where SaberLight gave a chance to try his luck to qualify for TI because no team wanted him so far. Funny how Shopify Rebelion failed to qualify for Riyadh without him right ?
Saberlight is actually a good offlaner. And with his current team, the Team Bald, they're able to successfully qualify for the closed qualifiers and took the first slot on the WEU.

Now , it's clear that the problem in that team belongs to Bulba for drafting and for RTZ for actually farming way to long and being scared to take team fights.
It is an open secret and the fans know who are the real problem with Shopify Rebellion.

The team that qualified for NA is nouns for which Fly is part of it who is also a former SR member.

They probably scheduled the qualifiers a month early so everyone participating could settle their VISA.

Its Denmark though, probably wouldnt be that hard to secure a visa to Denmark. Probably one of the reasons could be that they are planning some major patch before TI so instead of giving players harder time to play on newer patch, they schedule earlier qualifiers but yeah it doesnt really matter at this point because all eyes are going to be on Riyadh Master next month

If I have to speculate i'd also say RTZ since he's the only remaining core member in the squad while everyone else has moved on.

Shopify Rebellion made a couple of changes since last month so it could take more time for them to find some form, and they're probably under pressure as they have to make it work during these back-to-back qualifiers.

If I have to speculate i'd also say RTZ since he's the only remaining core member in the squad while everyone else has moved on.

however players from certain countries dont get it that easily. gonna have to see if that repeats
We'll probably hear the updates once we're a week or a few days away from the tournament dates since that's how it was in the previous tournaments.

Imperial Esports beat Sharks in the ESL challenger South America just an hour ago and are set to face off against Red Canids tomorrow(a squad I never had heard of before today) who beat favorites 9z.

If Imperial wins the next series, they're locked in for the next season of the ESL Pro League plus they get a map advantage as a team coming from the upper bracket, that's a rare advantage to see in CS2 tournaments.

I also didn't know Red Canids had a CS squad, i'm only familiar with them because their LoL team previously played on the international stage.

In Western Europe region, Entity and MOUZ took the spots. What's interesting to me is on how MOUZ kicked Team Secret's ass in a 2-0 match easy.

Overall, these are the teams that are participating the Riyadh Masters and I hope that there won't be any problem from any team and players against VISA issues because I think that this is a government sponsored event as they're trying to make Saudi Arabia as a main esports hub in the global scene.

Yep that mouz series was too easy for them, sad to see secret losing in such a way

I havent heard of anyone getting into visa issues at previous SA tourneys, however players from certain countries dont get it that easily. gonna have to see if that repeats
This isn't an SA tourney but a MENA tournament for which is the Riyadh Masters but I hope that none of them are going to face any issue. Since it is a government supported tournament and they have a goal to become a hub for esports, they'll surely approve all of those players that are required to get in with a VISA.

There's no wall there because Team Falcons is already qualified and it is going to be this type of situation every time there are big tournaments coming. So bad that Nigma.Galaxy is always getting that type of results again and again, they're too old and they need to rebump their roster and Kuroky should just play as a coach. He's already rich and I understand his passion about the game but he can continue that by being their coach or analyst when they're always getting failures tournaments after tournaments.

That bolded part though

I used to think that Kuroky was dragging the whole team down with him but after their game against Quest yesterday, I can finally see the bigger picture. The whole team wasnt really in sync and they should just disband. Lots of unsynchronized moves especially on SumaiL and Miracle but its not that they are bad or something, its just things are totally not working out with the as a team anymore

Some of them could have done better on another team for sure. Its actually pretty sad to watch former TI winner got slaughtered by Quest again
They are past their prime and they have to go individually with other teams. Just like what cr1t said when he used to play in NA with EG and Shopify Rebellion, he just moved out of it and found a better home. I think with Kuroky and other players of Nigma, they need to explore and need younger talents to come in. I know that it's gonna be tough when they are going to stick around but I think with miracle, he's not going anywhere and he just want to stick with kuro but with sumail, after his contract with Nigma expires, he just need to go somewhere else.

Today, I've watched the TI open qualifiers in SEA and to be precise with TNC predator, it's funny that one of their matches only lasted 4 minutes. The opponents offlane had tipped their carry and then said gg and quit the game for that period of time. One of the easiest games and quickest that I've seen.  Grin

Looking at the performance of PSG.Quest and how they went through the grand finals, they don't have any loss from any team they've faced and it did looked easy for them.

And for the South America region qualifiers, it's also done and well played for Beastcoast and Heroic. It's exhausting to see Boom Esports, called GG within just 13 minutes of the game in a grand finals for this qualifiers. Pakasz was titled and raged quit on that match because he can't it anymore, they've been left far behind with their score in kills and obviously, they're just going to lose the 2nd map.

Yep, nothing surprising from the MENA region, as Quest is still the second-best team there.

I didn't follow the SA qualifiers, but i'm surprised that BOOM lost that badly against beastcoast when they're like the gatekeepers together with Heroic.
Beastcoast in name is strong but definitely Boom is the second strong team there after Heroic. Pakasz did just gave that game and probably he's titled by his teammates and the game itself as it's already one sided in the last 10 minutes of the game.

Mouz stepping up recently was a bit expected because they looked better after finishing third in the FISSURE tournament.
Yeah, they're a rising team and not that much name for their roster unlike the other teams. It's hard to win with all of these great teams, I guess this is the era that no team is strong and everyone can really make a tier 1 team have an upset.

The MENA qualifiers for the Riyadh Masters Dota 2 has ended. Even if there are only four teams participated there, many have been waiting for that and tuned in for the matches there. So the grand finals was with PSG.Quest and Nigma.Galaxy. Many have thought that we're going to see Nigma.Galaxy again on a big stage like this Riyadh Masters but they fell short against PSG.Quest with a 3-1 score ending for a best of 5 series.
