Azure Ray is already waiting for the Finals. They will face either Team Zero or a rematch of the upper bracket finals, Xtreme Gaming.
I'm rooting for Xtreme Gaming to win the lower bracket finals, so we'd have decent odds for the grand finals.  Wink

Xtreme did win the Lower bracket finals. It was a tough first 2 maps but in the 3rd map, I think team Zero lost their focus. It was all Xtreme Gaming on the last map.

Unfortunately for Xtreme Gaming, they were not able to get past Azure Ray. They just won one map against Azure Ray. I was not able to make a bet on the game, but it was fun watching the finals. It is first time in a long time that I saw the Clockwerk's hookshot-cog-battery assault-blademail combo. It was a classic way of playing Clockwerk  and I have not seen it for a long time until today in Azure ray.

Congratulations to Azure Ray for clinching the first Regional Qualifier slot for TI 2023. The Meta is not yet set for this patch so we will see a lot of new plays, builds and hero line ups.

Next one is B8 vs Dogchamp and I have a feeling B8 and Dendi will make something great happened and make their way up to TI. I would be happy to see him at a TI after such a long period but with the current team , I doubt B8 can do great things in tournament.  Sad

I think that B8 will be able to win the lower bracket finals later in NA regional qualifiers. But I think Dogchamp will give them a hard time. Anyway, if they win against Dogchamp later, there is still nouns blocking their ticket to TI.

Nouns will be a harder opponent and way better than B8 but we do not what will happen. There is still no Meta so anything can happen yet in this match. Maybe we can see an upset if they will be able to reach that far. But first, they have to eliminate Dogchamp first.

Azure Ray is on TI 2023! This team is looking deadly on map rotation and I can't wait to see more from them on TI as I can already see a deep tournament for them.

The Gamers8 tournament ended earlier today after Vitality edged out ENCE in the decider map. I thought this would be ENCE's series to win because they looked clean throughout the tournament compared to Vitality, but Zywoo went ham after they lost the first map.

The LCK playoffs also finished with Gen G sweeping T1 in the grand finals. I would've thought it'll be a 3-2 win by Gen G, but T1 looked like a different team in this series.

OMG, what a huge odd for the match of Team Aster and Team Bright and those that have a bet with Team Bright which has the huge odd. You've won guys. And one sad thing is that we're not going to see Sumail again in this upcoming The International. How many TIs we've missed seeing him? Team Bright upset them and they're now eliminated. The NA and CN qualifiers are about to end by tomorrow and after that we're going to see the action in the other regions.

That was an upset, I did not expect that Aster will end their year this way. They have been performing quite well in previous tournaments. And now they are eliminated by an unknown team. Congratulations to those who bet for Team Bright if there were any. Aster was so a heavy favorite. I think the odds for Aster were just 1.01.
They're expected to be at least the flag bearer for this qualifier but not this time. I do remember those tournaments where when they took Sumail on their wings for this actually. But that's it, they've been beaten by Team Bright, and those folks that have bet on them surely made a lot of money with the odds that are really high on this match. I thought that they were going to go easy with Team Bright but was really a shock when they were the ones that have fallen apart against TB.

Speaking of unknown teams, Team Zero is moving up their bracket while sweeping the competition. They have 2-0 all their opponents in the lower bracket. That is quite a feat since they have beaten Invictus Gaming and Team Bright which beat Team Aster. I wonder if they will continue their streak and beat their next opponent tomorrow, Xtreme Gaming.

Azure Ray is already waiting for the Finals. They will face either Team Zero or a rematch of the upper bracket finals, Xtreme Gaming.

Here is my bet for tomorrow's Lower Bracket finals in China Qualifier. I am not sure who will win so I am taking the over maps. I am not sure if Team Zero will continue their streak or if Xtreme Gaming will eliminate them. The only series Team Zero went full series was against Invictus Gaming. I think Xtreme Gaming is better and will give Team Zero a harder time. This might be a full series as well.

Later today, I have the Faze m2 handicap and this should be their map pick since the lower-seeded teams are always given the first map pick.
I underestimated VP's performance on the CT side and they were also impressive against G2 earlier today.

The LCK playoffs are back later today and we have the lower bracket match between T1 and KT. It was close last time in the upper bracket and we might see another tight series based on how T1 is turning it up in the playoffs. After KT disappointed me in their last meeting, i'm starting to think they're bottling in terms of performance. That said, I got T1 @2.05 to win the series because of the value and whoever wins here secures a spot for the Worlds and doesn't have to play in the regional qualifiers against HLE.

I agree with you about Bleed, this team despite a lot of positive expectations it seems that they deserve the slot.

I think Execration deserves the slot more. This year, they have been consistently in the top 3 on all three tours. They just fell short to qualify for TI. It is their last chance to get on the top since the top dogs in SEA are already qualified for TI.

It will be a tough competition between the teams in this SEA qualifier. There is only one slot open, and 14 teams vying for that slot. It will not be as tough as WEU, but I am sure it will still be good to watch.

The matches for SEA qualifiers will begin a week from now so these teams still have a lot of time to prepare.
Yes, they've been good with all of the tournaments that they have been. But looking at their performances, they're inconsistent and that's why if they ever have been good with the last run that they've got. Instead of BB taking the slot, it should have been them. Just a little more points and they should have been the qualified team. I know how it feels and how sad it was for them when they fell shortly but that's how this DPC points system goes.

I still think they deserve to qualify for TI. They fell short of qualifying through DPC points but if they put their acts together and be consistent, they should be able to get the last slot. I enjoy how they play the game and I hope they will qualify. There is only a week left before the SEA qualifiers begins so we will see if they can be consistent enough to snatch the TI slot from other strong contenders in SEA.

CHINA QUALIFIER

Still no good competition today. Almost all the matches are 2-0 in the bottom bracket. Most games are under 30 minutes. It almost feels like the DOTA scene in China is downgrading.
The competition is not as fierce as the previous years. They are one of the powerful regions in DOTA but if this continues, SA might overtake them. SA competitiveness is improving lately.

Hopefully, it will be a different scenario in the upper-bracket semifinals. The top teams are scheduled to have their series tomorrow. The first game will be Aster vs XG and followed by IG vs AR.
I am not sure how competitive the teams will be, but I am hoping the series will not be as boring and as one-sided as the games in the previous days. Aster and Azure Ray are the favorites to win their matches but I am hoping that Xtreme and Invictus Gaming will not be easily disposed by the favorite.

This is to hope that the series tomorrow is not as boring as today and will go all the way to the third map.

And as for China, I just want to see Sumail participate the TI again with his new squad, Team Aster.

ASTER is really strong this year. I am looking at the participants for China Qualifier, and I think there is no team that can compete against Team Aster. Maybe the closest competition will be IG or Xtreme Gaming. But based on the last competition they had; Aster is the throw-in to reach TI this year. Expect Sumail in TI 2023.
Only a few strong teams have participated on this qualifiers and it's only PSG.LGD that have been qualified and got a direct invite through DPC points.

Bet on all four of the Gamers8 CS:GO matches yesterday and the first two ended in the 2:0.
I had a bet on both Navi&ENcE to end the same way but ended up losing the bets.
My only bet was on Navi, but i'm glad I avoided taking the handicap because it's hard to trust any team on the first day.

Later today, I have the Faze m2 handicap and this should be their map pick since the lower-seeded teams are always given the first map pick.

Noticed while scrolling through the livestreams of the matches there was a another Gamers8 tournament but for StarCraft.
Is this right? That old game that mostly had a heavy following in the Korean tournaments is making a comeback into the ESports Arena once more?
Isn't the game 30 years old now from the old WarCraft days, am I right?
That Starcraft tournament was two weeks ago, but i'm not sure if their competitive scene is making a comeback because I regularly see Starcraft odds being offered by the sportsbooks.

China Qualifier will begin in a few hours. The matches are not that exciting yet though. It seems almost all the matches later will be one-sided leaning on the heavy favorites: Aster, IG, Xtreme, and Azure.
I agree the next round is where it gets interesting to watch since we'll potentially see a matchup between Aster vs XG and AR vs IG in the other bracket.
They're done and moving on to the next round. The teams that are in the lower bracket are unknown, I guess this is the first time that we don't see powerhouse teams on this qualifiers. Yes, there's the Team Aster, Azure Ray, XG, and IG, and all of these teams that I've mentioned are already on the top bracket. But on top of that, I've used to see the greatest teams have this qualifiers to be a pain in the ass of most of the teams and that's why viewers were all excited but not this time.

Did anyone watch the CSGO matches earlier from the Gamers8 tournament? Most of the series are 2-0 wins from the favorites, but the round differential is closer than the bookies suggest. I guess the single-elimination format of the tournament encourages the teams to perform like their careers are on the line.

I also watched a bit of the playoff matches from the VCT Champions. Unexpected to see LOUD advance and send Fnatic down to the LB and PRX having a shaky start against FUT in the first half of the first map before taking over the series.

Speaking of SEA qualifiers, there is a new team: Made in Philippines. This all-Filipino team is from the disbanded Xerxia which failed to qualify for TI. They are Division II teams and finished last in Tour 3 of SEA Division I. They still have a chance to qualify for TI this year and hopefully, they could be better now that they are all Filipino. Will be watching this team and support my fellow filipino players.

The bracket and matches for Dota 2, TI qualifiers for all regions have been set already. The format this time isn't too complicated, it's like that the start is on the playoffs already. While the WEU region is on a full blast for the participating teams there as they'll be having two slots. Looking at the EEU region is something new and it's likely that we're going to see a new team with new names as well despite having one slot only there and I've just noticed there that, there's two NaVi, Jr. and the main team so I probably missed that Valve allowed this again. And going on the Chinese region, this is going to be a disappointing qualifier for most teams there, only one slot but too many strong teams. While in the SEA region, one slot too and it's like a tough qualifier there as well.
The rule you've mentioned for TI is still there, so having two or more teams from the same org is probably okay when that rule is in place. It only matters when both of them qualify for TI and will be forced to pick from one of the two teams.

I understand now, thanks. So the rule about only one team for TI is still there but if it's about qualifiers, they're allowing it.

The slot for the SEA is good enough, I think Bleed deserves it the most, but for China, it's tough when there are a few good teams like AR and XG that can shock the other teams on the international stage.

Things are looking great for BB as they won their open qualifier matches earlier against Eclot, 500, and ITB to lock their slot for the closed qualifiers. This closed qualifier will be the real test since they'll be going up against the top 20 teams like NiP, Apeks, and 9INE.

Also, more league betting because today there's the LCS Championship match between DIG and GG. My bet is on GG's -1.5 handicap @1.55 and I expect they'd wake up after getting knocked by NRG because they've been performing better overall and I see a decent gap between these two teams. They just had an unlucky matchup in the upper bracket and faced an NRG team that always shows up against the top teams.

While looking for the current matches being played for some DOTA2 tournaments and came across this one currently in session:
EPL World Series where the matches are located in South America for these qualifying matches to be able to get to the playoffs on Aug 14th-19th.
None of the teams look to familiar to myself when I saw who was in:
NoPing Esports, Luccini Old School, Infamous, Mad kings,Lava Epsorts, AcatSuki, Universitario Esports, x5 Gamin, Thuunder Awaken and infinity.
The last two I do recognize and that has to be why they are already seeded in the playoffs.

Just checked while searching for reference will go to the following site for the upcoming tournaments:

Has a good section on the splash page with the livestream of Valorant which I found a channel which streams matches called ESTV.

BetBoom to make their first appearance at the IEM Sydney Open Qualifiers

The open qualifier looks stacked. They'll be tested once they meet 500 or Team Spirit in the future rounds.

The LCK playoffs are now in the double elimination bracket after T1 and HLE won the first round. Today, T1 will be facing the new best team in the LCK and that's KT Rolster, i'll be betting on their ML @1.35 and the -1.5 handicap @1.8 because T1 didn't look that clean yesterday against DK.

Edit: T1 proved me wrong and KT got gapped so hard in game 5.
