I heard there was a team that was playing PSG-LGD but were caught cheating using some sort of hack.
Was their team disciplined for this action. A suspension or an outright ban from competition for an extended amount of time?
In professional play this shouldn't be accepted behavior in anyway or other teams might try to do the same if they see no repercussions.
Yup, it was Team Knights that were caught cheating.

No disciplinary action was made so far since there's no confirmation but if the evidence they gave to Valve is more than enough then they're likely out.

I doubt other players that are currently playing in the DPC would be willing to do it though since getting that small edge isn't worth it when they could lose it all. And at least Valve has to do something against it since cheats have been around for quite a while.
I've read that it was an official cheat and Perfect World has also sent the accusation to Valve for which the action will be heavier and taken more seriously.
They're never scared of the sanction and it will cost them their entire career. I can remember the Malaysian team(arrow gaming) and players that have been involved in a match-fixing. They were very promising during that time but ended up too soon when they got involved in the issue and now, they can just join those mini tournaments that are not managed by Valve and other big organizers.

DPC is kicking off the day with some matches later on and can be viewed here:
https://sportsbet.io/sports/dota-2/matches/today

While Boom eSports are facing off with Talon at the moment:

Talon are playing so great! They are a completely new team after TI and this can be seen in their last games where everything kinda works in their favor...drafts , heroes , strategies and execution.

They simply destroyed Boom in 1st game and 2nd games looks like a loop hole of previous one  Grin
Yes, I had Boom eSports to win that match but it went 0-2 to Talon. It wasn't even a challenge to them from what happened in the first map befell them in the second one.

Was the information I provided help you and the person whom you wanted to access the site able to register now?
I confirmed with customer support that the region you have stated is within their access of providing their services to you.
And regarding the VPN use it is allowed but only if you are not using it to hide from accessing from these restricted regions as they are able to limit those accounts they deem are breaching their rules once a KYC protocol is initiated from their side to anyone's account in accordance to their regulations.
Just like as with any other site you would use are compliant to do so.

Yup, informations from you is really helpful, my friends told me if he already made a register to Sportsbet.io, he was able to open Sportsbet because not using internet provider under state-owned enterprise. But I never ask him about he already made a bet there or not. If someday I have another questions, I will go to sportsbet.io thread or PM supports. thank you @rdbase  Wink

Thanks for recommendation, it is possible to join sportsbet with VPN or Indonesian can join? i think most of network provider blocked sportsbet.io, or maybe mirror link is available to join sites without VPN that may can be accessed from here. I've try to open without VPN with 2 different providers, and both are blocked address.
Yes, I also want an answer to what you have asked.
Some time ago I tried to access the Sportsbet site without using a VPN, but it failed and I couldn't enter the site at all, then I tried again using the VPN, but still couldn't access it.
Does Sportsbet provide conditions that only certain countries can access the site?
Source: https://sportsbet.io/help-centre/help-other/help-other-terms-and-conditions/general-terms-conditions
For various legal or commercial reasons, we do not permit accounts to be opened or used by customers resident in certain jurisdictions, including the United States of America (and her dependencies, military bases and territories), Australia, United Kingdom, Estonia, Lithuania, Netherlands, Belgium, France, Germany, Portugal, Serbia, Afghanistan, Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Malta, Myanmar, Syria, Trinidad and Tobago, Yemen or other restricted jurisdictions ("Restricted Jurisdiction")
Its stated on section 3. Its not really that hard to find it out.
This is why if you do have plans on accessing it then you are bound on having a closed or locked account if ever you do get caught.
This is why its not really that recommendable on such option.
Thank you for the answer to the information you provided from my question above.
But it seems that the country where I live is not included in the list of countries that are prohibited by Sportsbet from being able to access it.
OK, I'll try other options to be able to access Sportsbet again. But regarding my account, I don't have an account with Sportsbet because I did want to access Sportsbet some time ago to be able to register, but I can't.

On with the subject of this thread: ESports betting
The eSports HUB is looking more slick than the last time I used it. Including a livefeed of the match directly displayed on the market's screen as shown below:

DPC EEU 2023 is underway and it looks fierce and furious in the action:

Guys, do you have a recomended betting site for Mobile Legends Bang Bang? Since I never made any eSports gambling so I don't really know about this. Not for me, my friends looking for site with crypto payments options. I already doing search from Google, but I just need to know the best options from Bitcointalk members coz I believe here is the best place to find legit site.

Sportsbet.io.

I think this is the only crypto casino that covers these lines for M4. They cover a lot of games that are usually not covered by a lot of big bookies and they have been in business for over 5 years now. You'll also love their referral system and lots of bonuses that they have from time to time, especially on huge events in Football and NBA.

If your friend is from the Philippines, I'm pretty sure he knows some people that are agents on random sports betting sites. Those are okay-ish too but the mode of payment is thru GCash and not crypto.

I vouch with the sportsbet.io they are supporting this kind of game also they have a boost feature every day that reset its good if you are playing daily and waiting for the team you would like to play every day match, also another platform I've seen supporting this game is the Rivalry they don't have a ANN here afaik but they are supporting those but still preferred with the first one because of the features it has and mode of payments too.

Have your friend register and you can get affiliate bonuses from him if he does play alot of mobile legends.

Here is the direct link to that category on the site for them to see the eSports hub on the site:

They actually moved it over from the splash screen just before Christmas to be more visible because it was near the very end of the slider.

Good information @boyptc about the teams and their sponsorships in Dota boot camp training.

Still pretty slow in the esports area especially for the professional play.
No problem and that's okay even I, I'm still learning for other sports where you guys are better.

Only thing that is available today in CS:GO is from the Icelandic league today with three matches:

Dota2 has Moon studio Campfire for tomorrow:

It's different for those that have already won majors and got enough savings. But it's true, a team that doesn't have any major sponsorship will struggle in the long run.

The salary of the professional Dota 2 players are quite high and that's for real. An organization is earning not just from tournament winnings but mostly from brand deals and sponsorships.

AFAIK, with tournament winnings, the players have % on it and they'll have to share it with everyone together with the org.
Well that would only make sense since they are probably all under a contractual agreement with their respective team to do so.

These players probably stay at gaming camps while on tour and so have to pay for their own amenities.
Of course it is different for every league and esports category.
I only know how Counterstrike players agreements are with their squads starting from the academy and ranking up from there too go on to become professional players.
Yes, all of them have to go along with each other on their booth camps to build chemistry to each other and it's easier to communicate. Since most of the tournaments and qualifiers are being done online, they can communicate to each other easy if they're altogether.

Aside from the entire organizations sponsorship.

It's also possible that each player can accept sponsorship as long as it's not going to be competing their current sponsors. I saw individual players that have their sponsors only for one to few in the team.

It will be hard to survive as a team without any sponsors. Unless you are consistently winning tournaments, it will be very hard to even just to sustain the payment of the players. The average salary of professional DOTA players is from 10 to 15K per month. Really top players can get up to 35K per month. Without sponsors, teams will not be able to keep their players. So if a team is not performing well, team owners choose to sell their rights to other team owners.
