The Blast playoffs starts later today and i'm surprised that Navi is slightly favored in this match when they still look shaky. Team Liquid on the other hand is performing better compared to Navi even though they're in a similar position they're able to grab at least a map in that one losing series. I already placed my bet on Team Liquid@ 2.04 since they're the value pick and Navi nearly lost against Heroic who are playing with a stand-in.
Very good choice on Team Liquid taking it yesterday @ralle14 !
I had them too on all my betslips so that is a solid win.

But today OG is playing them for a place in the semi-finals and they took the first map. On the second map it looks like they made some adjustments and are now on their way to winning it so to tie it up. Anibus as the decider map. It was interesting to see the stats on this map actually.
There were some glitches that were not fixed before putting it into the map pool that were resolved with an update but they didn't apply it for this tournament:
"On Anubis, several spots where grenades and guns could fall through the ground have been addressed, along with various clippings that caused issues with throwing grenades and players getting stuck — the arch leading to the B bombsite among the most notable.
These changes are not expected to come into play at the ongoing BLAST Premier World Final, which is now heading into the semi-finals. The tournament runs on an old patch, dating back to even before the next-to-last update that disabled so-called 'magic' molotovs on Tuesday."

Finals are Sunday so get ready for a busy day in the esports/football world!

I am not aware of the bug and glitches in Anubis. We have seen Anubis being picked up as a decider match in the playoffs, but I have not seen the bugs and the glitches or maybe I missed it. But anyway, I hope this will not affect the Finals if Anubis is picked up again as the decider map.

Will be supporting G2 this time in the finals match against Team Liquid. I think they are more consistent than Team Liquid and Monesy is a monster right now. If he continues to play like that, I am inclined to think they can end their year with a Championship win.

@boltz Think I've seen Anubis a couple times this Blast Premier Masters series but mostly as the decider map.

Also yes, I have seen talk of source 2 coming with all the work that they have put into it over the course of the years they have been announcing it's arrival to the tournament circuit.

For anyone who missed the match yesterday with the official introduction of this Valorant type map according to Somedieyoung (SDY) at the beginning of this youtube video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7hII7_VOiBw

It is a beautiful map I must say and am quite impressed on how fluid Team Liquid were playing on it during competitive play.
They must have been practicing alot on the offseason to know where each and every hiding hole was while playing Outsiders.

What a refreshing map for CS:GO! The old Anubis was kinda meh but this one ...I love it , I love the angles , I love the rotation and I can' wait to see pro players finding PRO moves with flashes and smokes that will go on the other side of the map.  Yea , as far as I know , pro players get a chance to see a future pro map since early testing as their opinions actually maters unlike other games where pro players don't have any decision over maps or updates.

There are also rumors that SOURCE 2 is about to make a huge comeback in 2023 :O

While watching the Blast Premier series first match with The Outsiders vs Team Liquid noticed a new map being picked for the second pick of the match.
With much anticipation since it was announced in the prior tournament.

Behold Anubis!

Rest of the matches can be seen here for the entire day:

Tier 3 tournament is a waste of time and money to bet. The participants statistics is not reliable because most of the team joined on this tournament is not that consistent in terms with their.

I usually skip this tournament and focus on other category with ongoing high tier tournament. Much better to bet on Tier 2 tournament with some steady teams.
I also avoid betting in those type of tournaments because you know that 322 there is common. Valve or the organizer of it will have hard time in noticing it as if they're just going to make it look like a natural cause of comeback.

But, as tier 3 tournaments, it's better to get hands off them because you will never know if the players and teams there are doing some magic. So, you just watch and think of the authentic matches there or else you already have that feeling when you see some signs of red flag like fix matches.

I still watch a few of tier 3 tournaments if I want to. When there are some prospects that I've read somewhere else, I want to watch how that guy plays together with his team.

It's a waste of money and bet if you don't look to them and that's totally fine. For me, I just watch them and before I commit a bet, I'm making sure that I've got enough watch time to those teams there.

Once again , here I'm with another shocking post about Dota 2 teams. They just announce that OG have just formed another team called OLD G and guess who is in it guys.

OLD G roster - NoTail :O , CEB , TopSon, NoOne and MSS.

Now , the problem is they can't compete both of them in the same tournaments so as far as I know , both NoTail and CEB will have to separate totally from OG organization or sell their OG shares and move on. If this won't happen , then I think this team is just for fun and hard practice ? Hard to tell ...it's still early but I think they will end up selling their OG shares and focus in this new team.
DOTA2 tournaments seem to have one or two currently going on whenever I check the esports hub on Sportsbet:
https://sportsbet.io/sports/esports-betting

Which ones are you more likely to place a bet on?

Tier 3 games are just for watching in my opinion as you can see where the meta is kinda shifting towards and then you can proceed further by doing research of what Tier 2 and Tier 1 teams are playing and on what heroes. For me , it's always good to watch some Tier 3 dota or just Dota2TV before a big tournament begins so this way , I will have some info before betting.

Huge map indeed but frags on that map were on another level as you can make a lot more strategies before and during the round.

Anyway , let's switch a bit to dota as I was aware that TorontoTokio will leave TS but I didn't think for a moment that he will end up in BetBoom...

Current team of BetBoom is on point! I do wonder how they got Pure from Entity as he is kinda the 2nd best carry in the world right now , right after Pakazs from EG.

TorontoTokyo is playing position 5 which is very different from his position in Team Spirit. That is quite a big transition he is doing there. I wonder what made him transition from position 2 to position 5. Is he to pos 5 to become a captain in the future. He is very talented player but that transition is quite big. I hope he is successful and give his teammates a big boost.

They can still play in the Regional League but only one team will qualify for The International. So, even if this is just for fun or competitive team, they can run them both in tournaments and try and get to qualify to TI. But then, if both of the teams qualify in TI, only 1 team will be able to participate in TI. Here is the rule in TI

Quote
Can teams from the same organization play in the same Regional League?
Yes - However, as in previous years, only one team from an organization can qualify for The International. If two teams from the same organization qualify for The International, that organization must either remove all of their ties to one of the teams, or only the top team will be eligible.

Damn, that roster looks very respectable. They could be winning some nice tournaments if the gel together properly. What is up on DOTA scene now that BTS Asia and America finished? I need something to bet on before major soccer leagues continue.

Good thing big snooker tournament starts tomorrow so I have that at least.

Cobblestone still a CS:GO map ? wasn't it removed some years ago ? I remember it because it was my favorite map since Cs 1.6 where the name was de_cbble so after some pro players and team team complained on Valve on new cobblestone , the map was redesigned first and then removed from official pool but now seeing that graph of RdBase , makes me think that Cobble might be on the way back on CS:Go pro scene and I would freaking love it. I might even install CS:GO and play that map once or twice to feel some nostalgia back.
Cobblestone was removed because it was a huge map but they might want to reconsider bring it back due to the revisions made.
I remember it being a very immense map for any real tournament play to be efficient enough to make the viewership feel connected for very long.
The updates made didn't make any improvements to this.

So Anubis has made it's debut in tournament play and is replacing a staple in all of counterstike since it's inception.
In doing this they have removed the long running map dust2 from competitive play in tournaments.

Along with this the use of permabans are being removed from the fold as well.

Still shocked by the outcome of the finals with the favorites Faze clan going down to defeat at the hands of Heroic.
https://www.hltv.org/news/35163/heroic-defeat-faze-at-blast-fall-final-to-win-first-big-event-trophy

I had a first map and 2:0 victory to Faze but obviously lost those two bets I had placed on them earlier in the day.

The Danes had the home crowd cheering them on so to get past the champions. As it took the full three maps to decide a winner.
Broky took the MVP award for these Blast Premier fall final:
https://www.hltv.org/news/35164/broky-claims-blast-premier-fall-final-mvp-award

It is not shocking at all. Heroic has been performing quite steadily and consistently in the past few tournaments. So, I am not surprised that they were able to pull a win today in the Finals against Faze. There is also the advantage of the crowd heavily cheering them on while they are playing. That gives the players unique advantage.

Also, Faze has not been consistent for a while now. They were early exit in RIO and they were shaky against NIP yesterday. So, I believe Heroic have a big chance that they can win against them.

Broky deserved the MVP award for this tournament. He was a monster and consistently fragging for Faze. He saved many rounds for Faze so it is fitting that he gets the award.
