In the other quarterfinal match of the champions stage, we saw mouz vs c9. Mouz couldn't win the map of his choice and naturally c9 was the favorite. But this time, when c9 couldn't win the map of your choice, it extended to the decider map. With a clear game advantage on the last map, mouz won and advanced to the semifinals. Even mouz performing so well should be a success for them.

Mouz showed us that the game isn't just won by the favourites. They make the opponent feel as if they are winning, and they win the match themselves. They did not win their chosen maps, but the result was surprising. C9 can beat Faze and NAVI but lose to Mouz. Surprising indeed. I love that unexpected things happen. Let's see if this win is just a coincidence or if there will be a sequel.

Since you guys have talked about Fnatic, let's go to its Dota 2 roster. After jabz left the team and went to Talon Esports, there's a big announcement that happened today and that is Raven's departure from the team. It's not because raven wants to be out but it seems a mutual decision to no longer renews his contract. And going to the China region, Ori has announced his retirement and that's because his parents want him to pursue his left degree for law practice.

What a collapse from Cloud9 in the final map(Ancient) I thought they were going to cruise on their CT side but the Mouz players started to step up individually mid-way through the half from trailing 5-0 to a solid 7-8 recovery. Then heading into the second half it was a smooth close out win for Mouz.

Also, they're lucky that Cloud9 got too aggressive on the second half of the second map forcing a bunch of scrap buys that didn't work than to fully save for a proper buy round.

Well , I had to go to sleep as the games are kinda late for me during Champions stage. However, the losing streak continues for me in CS:GO as I had Fnatic to take at least 1 map and I had Mouz to win first map because it was their pick ...and none of this happened. Today , when I woke up and saw that Mouz got a comeback I couldn't believe it as I had Cloud9 in finals but I guess Dexter said no. I've said that this guy is having the lan of his life so far and it proved it once more.

PGC 2022 Bracket Stage Round 6 will begin at 1 p.m. UTC. These teams will compete for seats on November 14th for Grand Survival. As you can see, they were the top teams in the previous PGC. The defending champion, Gen G, is near the bottom. Most of the top 8 teams that qualified for "grand survival" are new to me or that I haven't heard of. I wish a lot of luck for SQ, which has been pretty impressive so far when I saw their gameplay, but the late games are kind of meh for me.

We are now on the third map (Ancient) of the quarterfinals between Mouz and C9. Currently, C9 is in the lead with 5-0 on CT side. Mouz needs to steal a few round as T on this map so they will have a better advantage when they switch sides later. I believe Mouz is still not out of this even though C9 is ahead because this map is more favorable for CT side. As long as Mouz can still some rounds and not give c9 too much lead before they switch sides, they can still come back to this game.

Congrats to Outsiders on their fully deserved victory. fnatic were promising in the recent times in fact but they couldn't do much against Outsiders I'm afraid. The team effort was really inadequate. But they have been improving themselves day by day since they changed the team completely. I believe they have a bright future.

As for MOUZ vs Cloud9, the map picks are in favour of Cloud9 actually. Because they are better than MOUZ on Overpass and Ancient both considering the win rate comparison. Even if MOUZ win on Inferno I will be expecting a 2-1 victory by Cloud9.

The first match in the quarterfinals of the championship stage was outsiders vs fnatic. Fnatic picked the first map of the match. But I can say that they didn't play well. Fnatic actually has a roster with potential but they have problems with success. If a team cannot play on the map they have chosen, it is already difficult to win the match. As a team, outsiders played really well and eliminated their opponent. Now we will watch the c9-mouz match.

fnatic couldn't show much resistance against Outsiders on both maps today. First a 16-11 win on Inferno and later a 16-8 win on Mirage. There was a good cooperation between fame and Jame on Inferno. FL1T's performance on both maps was really effective in this 2-0 win by the way. 20+ kills on these maps were a good example of a strong effort.

Now we have a MOUZ - Cloud9 series in less than an hour. Cloud9 are highly favoured @1.33. It is 2.95 for MOUZ win. MOUZ couldn't have a comfortable run so far as some of you indicated. Actually they have the capability to upset top teams now. They are actually already at the 7th position in the world rankings also. Considering Cloud9 are only two places above them the odd difference is quite big. I think it is worth giving MOUZ a chance at this attracting odd.  Grin

CS:GO is back after 1 day break.

Outsiders vs Fnatic first game and both teams have been looking great during this major so far with a slight advantage going to Fnatic in my opinion because Outsiders really rely on Jame sometimes and if he won't shine today , Fnatic will role them for sure.

Mouz vs Cloud9 ...well...hard for me to chose one of these two because I like both teams but I think Cloud9 has the experience and also better players to pull this one with a victory. Grin

I think that we will watch Cloud9 - fnatic and Heroic - NaVi matchups in the semi finals. Cloud9 seemed pretty solid in the group stage. MOUZ had a big difficulty in reaching this stage. MOUZ are still a dangerous team though but I think they will be out by a 2-1 score. I expect a close series between Outsiders and fnatic. But I see that fnatic have improved their effort very much against top tier teams. I think they can do this. Heroic should be able to do what Liquid couldn't. I don't think Spirit can make another surprise. NaVi have mostly dominated their matches against FURIA. Maybe they seemed inconsistent in the group stage unlike FURIA. But I still don't expect any mistake by them.
I'm expecting Cloud9 vs Outsiders in the first semi-finals since Fnatic already lost to Outsiders and even if Fnatic looked impressive I'm still not convinced with their results given how BIG wasn't able to take a map after going up 2-0. Heroic seems shaky though and I wouldn't count out Team Spirit after watching Cloud9 pull some crazy comebacks multiple times throughout the tournament.

Cloud9 and Outsiders will probably be my leans on the first two matches and hoping for 500casino to put in a much better promo this time.  Grin

Is this official? I am searching the web but I cannot see an announcement for where the next TI will be. If this is true, then you are right, Russian players will have a very hard time entering the US. Russian players were not able to play in Arlington because of Visa issues. It may happen again if the next venue will be in the United States.

I think it is better if the next TI will be held in South America. They are getting better in the game and it will be a big boost to them if the next TI will be held there. Hope it happens.
It's a rumor that the next TI will be on Seattle. But when it comes to that, usually that's coming from the insiders of Valve and there's a chance that it's really like that.

One problem that will be met on that place will be for sure the Visa issues. And there will be a lot of players even those experienced ones and have been there already could face a problem if it's on Seattle.

With Liquid's shocking elimination as well, the eliminated big teams list is like this now:

- FaZe
- Vitality
- Liquid

Teams like BIG, ENCE and NIP are also teams which are near top 10 and it wasn't nice to see them saying goodbye to the tournament this early as well. Now we have these matchups for the quarter finals:

MOUZ - Cloud9
Outsiders - fnatic
Spirit - Heroic
FURIA - NaVi

I think that we will watch Cloud9 - fnatic and Heroic - NaVi matchups in the semi finals. Cloud9 seemed pretty solid in the group stage. MOUZ had a big difficulty in reaching this stage. Earlier today I saw the Facebook page of Invictus Gaming posting that The International 12 will be once again hosted by Seattle in the United States. Some comments were like, goodbye to Russian players and the visa issues. Not to delve any further into politics but I do hope that the war in Ukraine ends before the next TI.

It is still a rumor since we cannot see an official announcement coming from Valve itself. But there could be a high chance otherwise Invictus Gaming's official page won't post it. As far as I understand, there will be bidding and voting to decide the next TI host. Maybe Seattle has the biggest money and supports so far.

I agree that South America should host a TI. But did they host a major already? Maybe they should host a major first before TI. They did a great upset last TI performing better than SEA and NA.

Its still based off rumours because the largest crowd were in Seattle so fans were assuming that Valve will take the next TI back to Seattle but honestly with the politics issue probably still ongoing for atleast 2-5 more years, I dont think that Valve will be that stupid to actually take it back to US. Most likely that it will be on any other some sort of neutral venue
Hopefully, it'll happen in a neutral venue. But I won't be surprised if Valve approves a non-neutral venue. Valve is also based in Seattle. Valve earlier fucked up The Outsiders with their DPC trying to mess up the computations which happen to be the first time afaik as Liquipedia calculations went differently. My own basic logical computations are the same with Liquipedia too.

Vitality were already like a ticking bomb actually. They barely advanced from Challengers Stage by a 3W-2L record. I hoped them to improve their performance in Major but they didn't. They were even worse and this brought their end unfortunately. They could have used their last chance now if they weren't defeated by ENCE. But even then they would still have a potential to be out of Major with this effort.

Now NaVi are using their last chance to move on. They won on Mirage by 16-12 and we are now on Dust 2. NaVi started this map with a 3-0 series also and they really want this win. I think BIG can't make a comeback and eliminate them. Liquid are also going to use their last chance tonight against Spirit. 1.61 is a pretty nice odd to bet on Liquid I reckon.

Last matches in the legends stage of the major tournament. Today, in the match between mouz and ence, mouz defeated his opponent 2-1 and advanced to the champions stage. Mouz's team play seems to be settled. We can say that he is reaping the fruits of his contributions to his academic team. In this way, he does not spend much money on player transfers.
Navi big struggle continues. Navi won the map of his choice.

Next is Big vs NaVi and we might see 3 maps in this game as well even if Big is having a rough CS:GO lately.

This Major is full of upset. The top teams are sent home early in this tournament. Faze, Vitality are all gone now. And since that is the trend in this Major, I am betting with BIG in this match-up. For me, Navi is still very shaky in this tournament.
