I believe this dead lock tie breaker happened too on the 2021 DPC for Singapore Major and surprisingly that OG and Tundra are involved too and Liquid is just replaced by GG on the current tie breaker.

It was only a 2nd round tiebreaker though and currently we are in the 3rd round tiebreaker with potentially getting the same outcome again. I honestly wouldnt mind getting into the 4th one as we basically got nothing left to watch until the Lima Major at this point because most DPC have concluded the winners of this rounds

Not really into division 2 DPC though as those are mostly hit and miss

Tundra already developed the strategy to beat OG and Entity consecutively after a day off. Both matches are close but still they manage to end this loop. Entity and Tundra are the only team that keeps there performance level while OG performance drops for an unknown reason.

Anyway it’s good that Entity and Tundra will go to the major since OG is so inconsistent with their performance especially the supports. Majors will be good with this additional 2 teams from WEU. I’m sure WEU will once again dominate this major competition since most of the qualified team has a solid roster and consistent performance. Other region is not on the same level of WEU though.

Most of the Chinese team made a reshuffle same as WEU but I doubt thatthey can give same LGD level before when Ame is active.

OG is out.
Congratulations to Entity and Tundra for having the last two slots for the WEU region and they're now going to Lima. Smiley
It was a fun tie breaker and we thought of it as an infinite loop sequence that might take a few more days but then, Tundra just proved that they deserve the slot and if you guys have followed Sneyking on his Twitter account, he's such a funny guy.
.

Too bad I missed the Tie breaker games; it must have been fun to watch. Congrats to Tundra and Entity. OG is still a hit and miss lately. I am surprised they were able to take the tiebreaker to the 3rd round.

We have no quality DOTA to watch until the major. Fortunately, there is plenty of CS:GO to watch.

We had a really interesting night in the LEC yesterday. Team BDS, SK Gaming and Heretics all won their matches despite being not the favourite sides for the win.

I was waiting for SK Gaming to win to be honest. Because they seemed really strong after beating Vitality and G2 both. These were top teams in the tournament in the end. However I didn't understand how MAD Lions and Fnatic lost their matches. Fnatic were quite superior in the match actually. But they gave away a baron first and after that they made important mistakes by losing some team fights. This helped Heretics come back in the match stronger and they took advantage of it.

Nobody commenting on tie breakers between Entity, OG and Tundra? 2 of those will go to major and they started yesterday. I watched first round of tie breakers and we had some incredible games, especially Tundra - Entity was a great one and we got tier 5 items.

In the end it wasn't enough and they needed 2nd round which again did not solve anything. They are playing 3rd round today, never seen this happen before  Grin

Maybe worth putting some money on same outcomes as yesterday, they repeated two times in a row, who knows maybe third time we will have same thing.

It’s a dead lock tie breaker the 3 team involved is almost equal to other one and counter to the other. It’s very hard to get a straight win with those 2 teams as an enemy. I believe this dead lock tie breaker happened too on the 2021 DPC for Singapore Major and surprisingly that OG and Tundra are involved too and Liquid is just replaced by GG on the current tie breaker. The only difference was Team Liquid that time has a little but of an advantage because their team has the best roster compared to OG and Tundra that is not on their perfect roster form.

It’s very hard to determine who will gonna win because GG and OG is clearly on par now on Tundra. The only team on WEU that capable of dominating these 3 teams that involves in tie breaker is Team Liquid which is the current first place. I think the organizer needs to do this tie breaker consistently so that players will feel the fatigue that will affect their game play.

Betting same outcome is really a cool bet since they are all fresh and probably will result the same. Thanks for giving some idea.

That's one of the funny tie breakers. 3 teams involved and it's like an unending cycle. Basically, 2 slots left for the WEU and all of them got the same chances to take any of those slots.

Later on the first match on the round 3 will start. I don't know what will happen next but if they end up today with the same results again, we'll see then a round 4 for the tie breakers.

This is seriously a bad beat but funny scenario that has ever happened and seen by me.

but why can Tundra lose against GG? Huh only because of Puck and Lina. very disappointing.

Lina is the most contested hero this DPC season. It has a very high win rate and is very strong in this Meta. I would understand they lost because of lina but what I do not understand is why they let them get it in the first place. They are out drafted and outplayed, plain and simple.

What a game between Blacklist and Geek earlier. I thought Geek are aiming for quick victories but it was Blacklist that always dominates the late games. Not until Geek dragged it into very long extended minutes and were patiently waiting for Blacklist to commit a single mistake.

Now it is Blacklist versus Talon for SEA's last slot to Lima major. I felt bad for Blacklist who already beat Talon before but now they might feel the exhaustion from those overextended games earlier and their mindsets are affected by the heartbreaking defeats at the hands of Geek. 3 hours of rest might not be enough but hopefully, they can steal the remaining 2 maps.

Blacklist had no chance again Talon as they lost a quick 2-0 and also they ruined 2 of my bets and I will never bet on Kuku and his team no matter what Cheesy. Talon on the other side , they played their style with fast lanes and mid rotation and gave Blacklist no chance.

I also think Blacklist have lost it mentally vs Geek and it all went down from there...

It is weak performance today by Blacklist. They should have won their 3rd map against Geek since it is almost Mega creeps. They got 2 rosh and still failed to push the ancient and win the game. I do not know if they are too afraid of Naga or they are taking him too lightly in the late game. Anyway, they lost against Geek in 2 70+minutes game and too exhausted to contest Talon.

In Iem Brazil open qualifying 2, Eternal Fire plays with team Fluffy Gangster. You know, these qualifiers are the only map bo1. Again, we did not play a bad game on T map in Inferno. Lost hands as banana control was not successful every time in CT. There are more teams in the open qualifiers, only two teams will participate from Europe. If we take part in this tournament, it will be very prestigious and the team can go into rage mode like in the old days.

Blacklist was already there but fell shortly. They've got the best spot on this dpc season to be qualified for the Lima major but still, they lost and didn't qualify.

This is one of the reasons why good teams lose, they've got consecutive games that will really change the fate of their standings and fate in the tournament.

They should have won against Geek then they've taken the spot and Geek might just win against Talon.

you have a very good selection of winner teams and staying away from Team Secret is much better.
after Team Secret lost their best player Nisha, Team Secret performance was very bad in this DPC match.
I'm actually a big fan of Team Liquid and Team Secret but after losing several times to Team Secret I no longer bet a bit on Secret and rather choose Nigma as the winner.
I believe that most likely all of your choices will win.

My entire parlay collapsed with Tundra collapsing against Gaimin Gladiator. I did not expect that GG will easily beat Tundra. They dominated Tundra in both maps with Quinn giving his team a perfect game. He is everywhere on the map in both games as Puck in map 1 and Lesh on map 2.

GG winning this series secured their slot to Lima major. If Entity wins against Nigma, it will be a 3-way tie with OG and Tundra for the 3rd and 4th slot for Major.
let's take another look at the choice of heroes in the Tundra vs GG match.
even though Tundra has a very good selection of heroes and all the heroes chosen by Tundra are all strong heroes. compared to GG choice of heroes, almost all of them are soft, like Puck and Lina, they are soft heroes.
and actually the heroes chosen by Tundra like Zeus and Chaos Knight are very strong heroes and for me it's very easy to beat Lina and Puck.
and on the other hand there is TideHunter which has a stun area, very good.

but why can Tundra lose against GG? Huh only because of Puck and Lina. very disappointing.

Positioning of supports matter too. Seleri rarely gets caught and manages to dish out a lot of healing and damage against the enemy as Treant. Also, Tundra doesn't have a lot of heroes that can do tower damage, and that's where Treant shines once more. The only way Tundra can advance in the map is when they manage to do a team wipe or kill at least 2 heroes to make GG's defense ineffective. Other than that, there's not much they can do to kill towers. Rosh fights, GG also shines the most due to their sustain and lots of cc. Doom just casts Doom on Zeus and it's literally game over - most of Tundra's damage already gone.

There was IEM Brazil 2023 Europe Open Qualifier recently and Eternal Fire had a really unlucky incident in the last stage.

They had HEET as their opponent and the winner was going to join the Closed Qualifier. However Eternal Fire lost the series really easily especially after XANTARES' having technical issues. He said that he contacted with his internet service provider before the tournament started. But his internet was still gone in the middle of the HEET matchup. He complained about it on Twitter as well but there was no result. I just don't understand how these things can happen in a year like 2023.

Navi godlike era in CS;GO seems to approach it's ending ? I mean , you can't dominate the stage forever and G2 are looking deadly with Monesy.

Navi removing boombl4 saw them being a dominant team to a team that has lackluster performance in a lot of the tournaments they're in. Sure, they have some of the best riflers and AWPers in the world, but without a solid IGL, they're just squad of individually skilled players that dominates pubs and that's it. Electronic being the IGL hurts them the most. The man doesn't know what to prioritize and his mid round calls always seem to go against what they expect to happen.

Tundra is always like this in every early DPC points tournament or Majors. They usually made all the adjustments on the late tournaments and play dominantly. GG find a decent mid laner compared before when Boom is in charge.

On Nigma side, They are still performing good on follow up good performance against OG by beating Team Secret flawlessly. Entity might be a hard opponent for them but I think they will secure this fight for a chance to play in the major. They already dodge the relegation so I think they will want more for this new effective lineup. I just hope that Kuro will not throw the pick.  Cheesy

Even if they win, they will not be able to play in Lima Major. It will be just a two-way tie for 5th and 6th if they beat Entity. But, if Entity wins against Nigma, they can force a 3-way tie breaker against OG and Tundra. Entity has bigger stake in winning this match against Nigma. So I think, it is better to bet for Entity in this match since they will give it all to force a tie breaker and hopefully get the 4th spot for Lima Major.

On Dota2 scene , today we have a derby if we can say that between NaVi and VP. Regarding predictions , I simply have no idea who could win this game because both teams have kinda new roster but I should to with VP because they always maintain a certain lvl of Dota2 besides NaVi who haven't achieved anything in the last years when it comes to Dota2.
