Taking some action on WEU games later.

Team Secret started poorly this DPC Season and I am not sure they are winning anytime soon. Team Liquid is continuing their streak from last season and seams to be stronger with Nisha on the roster.

Solid pick except for Team Liquid to win, it would be perfect if you took Liquid -1.5 instead of just moneyline on Liquid for 1.06 odds. Anyway, GG won the 1st map so good chance that this ticket is going to win as honestly I dont think Nigma would be able to even avoid the relegation to division 2 with their current roster. I guess bringing in ATF was a mistake

We're watching the Sprout-Eternal Fire match in the ESL season 17 tournament qualifier. Both teams won the map of their choice and it's down to the final map to decide the winner. Since it is the upper bracket final match, the winner qualifies directly for the esl season 17 tournament.eternal fire is currently leading. I expect eternal fire to win.

Eternal Fire are getting close to the ESL Pro League ticket step by step. The current map is going on in favour of Eternal Fire and if they win it they will advance. They finished the first half 10-5 ahead and XANTARES' performance is very lovely as usual. I wouldn't like to overlook Calyx's high effort as well. He is also having a great day considering all the maps played so far.

Anubis is a new map in the pool as you know and I was wondering what Eternal Fire were going to do on this map. But it looks like they were prepared for this as it was even their pick. They got a reassuring win there. Hopefully these wins will help the team chemistry to get stronger day by day.
maj3r, the igl of the team, may especially want the anubis map to be played well. This new anubis map looks like it will include very important scenes. Memorizing everything of this map and tactical games to be made will give +1 point to each team. Especially if Eternal Fire works in a way to establish a clear superiority on this map, it will be very good in their favor. I have to say that they played well against sprout today, especially Calyx made a clear difference on the mirage map, the last map, and paved the way for a comfortable win against sprout. I hope these performances will continue throughout the year and they will have good successes.

Team Liquid is really putting up great performances but the bookies know it and odds on them are often very low. When they are playing against a bit weaker opponents like today, there is simply no value in playing on them.

Even -1.5 lines on Team Liquid isn't really that much juice and it's not worth risking your bet. While they are on fire right now, their value lies when they're against good teams. They can be a good parlay leg though if you really want to get something off of them while they are getting most of the wins at the start of this DPC Season. Outright bets, just don't bet on them if they're against relatively unknown/weaker teams and you're gold.

Betting against Team Secret is the way to go at the moment, they are a shadow of the old team and I agree they are not winning against any top tier team at the moment. They can be happy they managed to take at least one map today. It was their first map win after 7 consecutive loses.

Too bad, Xtreme Gamin ended up losing that game but I kinda wonder why would you go for PSG.LGD on 1.18 odds though? At that low, I'd rather go for -1.5 on PSG.LGD or go for +1.5 on IG because I kinda think that its pointless to go that low especially in 3 legged acca because one minor mistake ended up losing the whole tickets. On this case, IG won their first game so its rather intense game

It is in a parlay anyway so betting on the moneyline lessens the risk for that match. Unfortunately, my Xtreme gaming vs knight line lost so all of that was for naught. Also, I am still not very familiar with Chinese teams, so I avoid handicaps for the while.

Taking some actions on DOTA 2 later.

2 out of 3.

These are good bets that you've got there. Well, on the SEA region will have matches later.

Geek slate vs Execration

Talon Esports vs SMG

Bleed Esports vs Boom Esports.

I guess there are folks there that have underestimated Execration because they don't usually gets high on high tier tournaments but they're doing this time.

Eternal Fire played an official match for the first time in a long time.EF faced Genk in the ESL Season 17 qualifier and defeated their opponent to advance to the next stage. Xantares seems to have lost none of his performance during his time as a soldier. We can see that he is still far better than the team. With 63 kills in two maps, it is like he is still saying "I am here". Today they will face the Partizan team. I think EF will win this match, even if it's hard, but they don't know what to do since it's the first time they will face such opponents, so it's natural that we will see surprise rounds.

XANTARES has been really amazing so far. He performed his military service a short time ago you know. It was quite a long break to the game actually but it looks like nothing has changed for him. He carried Eternal Fire in both matchups against Genk and Partizan. He didn't have a match with less than 20 frags. There was even a match in which he got 37 frags.

The upper semi-finals match between Eternal Fire and Sprout is tomorrow. I think Eternal Fire can defeat Sprout as well. Sprout are a more challenging team to eliminate of course. But Eternal Fire have much more capable players than them. Winning this matchup will help Eternal Fire join the ESL Pro League. Otherwise they will have one last chance in the lower bracket.

It was one of Eternal Fire's most stable matches played in a long time.
The score contribution was completely evenly distributed, Majer played well, he is really good in game leader. They made us feel like 2023 will be the year of Eternal Fire. I don't know, it's a team game, it's more promising. Of course, it's better for everyone to do their part if the scores are evenly distributed than if Xantares hit 30-40 and lost.
We saw how correct the Calyx choice was in this match.

As for ZywOo and S1mple, it's pretty understandable why HLTV opted for S1mple. The guy has been consistent for years, and even though his team is not performing that well as of late, he still managed to post high ratings albeit being on the losing side for many tournaments.

Their team did start strong early last year. They had good finishes in some tournaments, and they remained favorites even in the latter tournament of 2022. S1mple was fragging consistently in every tournament though some of his teammates are quite inconsistent. COngratulations to S1mple for making the top player twice in a year. It is quite an achievement.

And here we are. This list has already proven that it cares about the success of the teams of the players as well. Otherwise there is no way XANTARES not being in this list. He would have been even at top to be honest. I still remember the 1v1 duel between XANTARES and s1mple a couple of years ago. XANTARES was very impressive and showed how amazing he was as for individual performances.

He is just unlucky about playing for Eternal Fire. Normally he could have left the team a long time but I don't know why he hasn't done it. He can find a top team for himself easily I assume.

Individual ratings, that Ax1le guy would surely be in the top spot even though C9 hasn't performed that well the past year. I think the system HLTV uses is fair enough for those players who performed so hard in order to get a win for their teams - or at least be placed in a pretty good ranking in the tournaments they have joined. I guess if you're really a good player, you should convert your performance somewhat to a win, otherwise you're still missing one thing that separates you from the greats of the league. M0nesy is still young, and I think he'll still get better with age. He already has the game sense and aim, he just needs to get better at making decisions that will put his team to a good position in all aspects of the game.
As you said, Ax1le took the 4th place. Now the first three announcements are left. The top three names are more or less clear, S1mple,Zywoo maybe sh1ro. I'm curious as to the order between them. For M0nesy, I think if he goes in the direction of his goal in the coming years, he will be Mvp many times, even the success he has achieved at this age is enough for now, I think. It will never be enough for his ambition, but he needs to leave time, as I said just give it the time, the MVP will become a star player.

1. s1mple
2. ZywOo
3. sh1ro

I'm surprised that both C9 players made it to the top 4 list. Ax1le has been included in 2021 top 20, and even did better this 2022 rankings even though they placed 3rd or 4th on average, with the exception of IEM Dallas win. Sh1ro is kinda up there but others might agree that he is a 'weak' MVP in comparison to others who are in the top 20 list. He farms kills effectively, but his overall performance when needed is not that flashy and highlight-reel worthy. But maybe his EVP and MVPs helped land him the top 3 player of 2022.

As for ZywOo and S1mple, it's pretty understandable why HLTV opted for S1mple. The guy has been consistent for years, and even though his team is not performing that well as of late, he still managed to post high ratings albeit being on the losing side for many tournaments.

Sekrekt is 0-6 in DPC ...they need to change something or it's Puppey who really lost the love of playing Dota 2 ? or maybe a really really bad mode for Secret and a Dota 2 patch as well.

Liquid vs Tundra first game was a lesson from Liquid of how to play aggressive even if you don't control the game for such a long period. Tundra , really thought they could out play ursa just by ignoring him for the first seconds of the fight and it worked for quite a while until Zai and Micke got the necessary items to survive and keep Ursa alive and that was GG already. Second game, we might see a new Tundra strategy and I'm curious about it as AUI2000 has a massive IQ when it comes to dota 2 strategies.
Watched that first map and it was very good DOTA, if it were some other team and not Liquid I think Tundra would have just stomped over them. That 5 man vacuum in the end was thing of beauty even though I don't think it was even necessary at that point in the game.

I hope Tundra have it in them to take map 2 since I am waiting just for over 2.5 maps to land my multi ticket.

I had the same bet yesterday bro Sad but it seems Tundra are TI flukers as that was the only patch they were good in and as soon as the meta changed , they are performing like a Tier 2 or 3 team without having a clear mindset of what they suppose to do with heroes they are drafting. I mean ...they were playing wraith pact in a patch that was nerfed so huge that it's absolute a garbage item to buy anymore and they stick with it. Tundra also doesn't get the fact that Tusk is one of the most powerful mid heroes right now but hey...what do I know right ? as I placed a bet on Tundra second game Smiley))) thinking hey , they are TI winners , they surely have a god-like strategy...NOT.

Looks like the Esports matches are slowly picking up again. So far I have made only a few smaller bets on Dota 2 matches, but now the BLAST Premier Spring Groups 2023 are starting on Thursday. Really looking forward to some high level CSGO matches again. The first match is going to be Heroic vs Evil Geniuses which probably the most one sided game of the series, Heroic has a really strong team is going to win that match easily. FaZe vs Complexity is another one sided match that should be a clear win for Faze. Vitality vs Astralis is going to be a much closer match that could be going either way. I am going with a small bet on Astralis as they played well over the last few months and could manage to win that game. And another small bet is going to be on BiG vs G2, BiG is one of my favourite teams and I just want to be invested in case they pull it off. The chances are quite slim as G2 is a pretty strong team, but the payoff would be nice. For these high risk bets I always bet very small.

PSG LGD is like a new team now. The only remaining player from the previous roster is Nothingtosay and Y. Ame (retired), Xinq and Faith_bian are not playing for LGD anymore. They are still performing very well even though they are recently assembled team. They can dominate, it just needs more playing time together.

PSG.LGD is the way they are because of their coach and not necessarily their players. Xiao8 is what PSG.LGD is all about, and I think the True Sight have already conveyed you this because everything revolves around xiao8's strategies, metas, and decisions. He wouldn't be called Director 8 for no reason. Even with the departure of Somnus, Chalice, and xNova who brought the said team to prominence in 2018 - 2020, PSG.LGD as a team is still very strong because of the leadership of Xiao8. It'll take some time before they can get their shit together but I'm pretty sure LGD is still deserving as a Div 1 team.

We cannot deny that. In any sport, a coach is a vital element in the success of the team. But in the end, it is still the players that play the game. PSG LGD is still like a new team since half of the roster is new. We still cannot know how strong this new roster would be playing together.

Both Secret and Nigma keep on losing their game though. It will be fun to watch both of them getting the straight up ticket to 2nd divison  Roll Eyes. Well Secret was atleast better last season compared to Nigma overall and at this point, I'd rather have Nigma abandoned all their current roster then straight up sign another team to compete in the DPC

I do not know if this will work. Since the new rule is implemented, if they change the roster, they will suffer DPC points lost. They will not qualify if they change the roster.
