I am surprised that there is no more top teams in SA. Is infamous the only strong team in that region? I am not very familiar with South American teams.
Beastcoast and Thunder Awaken already secured their slots to TI. Together with Infamous, they're always the ones competing at the top of their regions during qualifiers.

Can't wait for it, my results in last 2 DOTA tournaments were unbelievably good so I am looking forward to make some big bets. Been bleeding money on tennis and football evere since ESL one finished.

I've been bleeding because most of my bets on ESL One ended up losing big time. I totally went from parlay to a single bet and none wins lol. Especially on the final day when OG decided to wake up then sweep the entire game without losing a single map

Anyway, TI qualifiers would be nasty though as most teams will not be messing around this time. For some region like NA and SA, the favourites teams might just ended up winning but nasty EU region will most likely kinda unpredictable. Glad that we are starting with SA and EEU region first for the qualifier
These last months I also keep on losing my bets in either DOTA 2, or soccer, and now my FIBA basketball bets suck too. I wish to see Trofo's picks here soon so I can copy them. But maybe I can only bring bad luck and ends his DOTA streak luck. Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Three matches have been completed in Group A and the current look of the standings is below:

Vitality have impressed people with their dedicated performance so far. One transfer can really change nearly everything about a team. Spinx is still playing a crucial role in the matches. Today they took on fnatic and beat them 2-1. Spinx was the most performing player on Inferno (27 kills) and Mirage (25 kills). He was the top fragger on both maps and helped a lot about making a comeback after losing on Nuke by 16-6. fnatic did this to NaVi too. I mean they won the first map against NaVi too but couldn't turn this into their advantage to win. They are still not at the level of top tier teams but this is an improvement that shouldn't be disregarded also.

Tomorrow the biggest match is NaVi - Vitality. Honestly I think that NaVi will definitely win this series and they can be chosen @1.48 which is attracting. They beat Vitality 2-0 in the Blast Premier groups. But maybe this time they might give one map to Vitality after seeing how desperate they were against Spirit today. NaVi to win by 2-1 @2.95 might also be given a chance by the people who are eager to try something different.

I Hope ANA gets a larger hero pool or the opposite teams will just ban his heroes.
I think that if they'll ever do that, they'll leave a lot of opening for Topson and Kuku. So I think teams should balance their bans and it will also depend on the bans of T1.

The brackets are already made and set and this is just going to be a likely a quick qualifier for me despite it's going to be a 5-day qualifier.

NA isn't exciting for me as it looks like Nouns and Soniqs are likely to take the two slots already, one qualified and one last chance qualifier.

SEA and NA always have a dominant team even before when it comes to qualifiers. Only WEU, EEU and China has a lot of competitive team on there region that makes all the qualifying team on equal ground. I’m not sure if T1 is really the strongest team on SEA on this qualifier since they just newly form and also Polaris show an impressive performance against Boom on recent SEA tournament.

I wonder if Topson and Ana can manage to be that good again despite theres no motivational support coming from there old OG teammates.
Yeah, those three regions are like going to have the baddest day ever since most of the greatest teams are found on those regions. They're fighting just for a few slot.

But the good thing on this qualifier, the other places, 2nd and 3rd still have a chance to get in. That's why whoever is the best amongst all regions and got in to the last chance qualifier, shall be in for the TI.

Also unexpected results coming out of the LPL and LCK regionals all series going through all five games with EDG and DRX coming out on top and whoever in EDG's management decided to put in EDG's sub jungler over their main in the first two games of the series needs to be demoted or something as it nearly cost the team their spot for Worlds.
what's with the coaches and substituting players in such crucial series? same thing happened the other day with DWG KIA, iirc they won game1 and the coach benched Nuguri for game2, obviously, they lost with the sub top laner costing them the game lol

anyway, boring friday for me, i forgot about the regional finals and missed every ESL Pro League game, so i placed this one in a hurry, and it hit  Grin

LoL schedule tomorrow: FNC - MAD Lions, i could see this going all the way to game 5. V5 - LNG, if Karsa plays from the starts, i'll go with V5. LSB - DRX, will skip this one

This is the current world ranking according to the data recorded on August 29.

Just look at how far NaVi and FaZe are ahead of the rest of the teams. This is an unbelievable dominance. Only two teams are owning the whole game in almost every tournament. The only tournament we saw a different champion in was IEM Dallas as far as I can remember. Cloud9 won that. To tell the truth I'm enjoying all of the series between NaVi and FaZe in finals. But after a point this can start making people bored. Because we are already seeing the same teams winning every tournament.

OG are one of the most impressive teams lately. They beat much bigger teams like FaZe and Astralis recently and I believe they deserve to be in top 10 at the moment. The most undeserving team can be G2 because of their really poor form. The change in their roster is still not helpful for them but maybe time is what they need for now. I remember G2 being one of the top 3 teams in the past but now they are far away from that point.

OG has new player today and it is looks like the a chance for another TI champion to them because of the ESL One Malaysia they easily slain the Team Aster also they have a really good drafting and now the Dota 2 battle pass releases in the public too for sure we can see different chat wheel spams in the game, I just made a prediction right here which is the OG, LGD and the Team Spirit will face in the final match of up top 4 teams in the Sea server there's a chance that T1 but we have the Fnatic and Boom.

I doubt OG will get a new player to their Dota 2 roster. They already found the synergy between these 5 guys and it's just Misha who's always not there due to visa issues. He's still a good support that helps enable Yuragi in lane and I doubt they'd want to replace him because of that.

I Hope ANA gets a larger hero pool or the opposite teams will just ban his heroes.

I'm not worried about ana one bit. What worries me is that Kuku doesn't seem to be grinding as hard as he could on pubs. I've been watching him for 5 straight days and all the time, he does these questionable mid-game decisions that either costs them the game or gives the enemy an unfair advantage which makes the game harder. To think that he's the captain of T1, it terrifies me.

NaVi's losing to Endpoint by 2-0 was a big shock indeed. b1t had a bad day today. He had only 10 kills in both matches and he was the bottom fragger on the second map. Maybe s1mple needs to take a bigger responsibility in the team like the old times. On Ancient, NaVi couldn't win a single round on T side while Endpoint were getting 8 rounds. They were really inadequate about defending Endpoint on CT side of Dust2 also. If they are having this serious issues against a much worse opponent then there are some issues to solve clearly.

Spirit were really solid on Mirage against NIP and won by 16-9. magixx had a big role in this win by 25 kills. NIP should be able to beat them on Nuke but I'm not sure about the decider on Ancient. Spirit have a 60% win rate there and NIP have 25% after playing nearly the same time. I think NIP have a really difficult job against Spirit as a result. However they are desperately in need of a win now after starting with 0W 2L.

I'm taking action in tonight's series between Team Spirit and NIP.

I think Team Spirit is still a bit shaky but I think they can take up NIP in this series. I like how they performed against Endpoint last night. They have grit and tenacity and they never gave up even when they are down.
Best of luck to both of us as i'll go with NiP here. Yesterday after the games finished, I was also planning to bet on Team Spirit since NiP still can't win a map but it'll probably be close after Team Spirit was caught off guard during their series against Endpoint as it could've been a 2-0.

NaVi to make a comeback against Endpoint and win the series has a huge odd now.

The match between them is going on really interestingly. I'd never expect NaVi to have this much difficulty against a much weaker opponent like them. The first map was Ancient and it is the weakness of NaVi as you know. I really don't understand why NaVi are still not banning this map first. Because they lost to fnatic on the same map yesterday too. I still was confident that NaVi would turn the game around but they are struggling on Dust2 also now. They are 15-6 behind and this is really about to end up by a horrible 2-0 loss.

That was disappointing for NAVI, they really lost 2-0 to Endpoint. No one would have thought that Endpoint can pull an upset to a strong team like NAVI. Even the odds are way in favor of NAVI. Those who took their chance on Endpoint are reaping their rewards.

If I have to tell you what I've been paying attention to lately, low-ranking teams are playing tactical games on maps that are not preferred much. The End Point team also worked very well on the Ancient map, it became clear, how could they give a dust2 map so easily after giving Navi on a map, which I was surprised. Because I knew there was an invincible Navi in dust2. After giving the first map, they weren't supposed to spoil the morel right away.

https://www.hltv.org/news/34410/10-year-anniversary-update-for-csgo-adds-tuscan-to-matchmaking

You know guys, we are in CS:GO 10 years and we celebrated it recently. Along with it, an update has been added and Tuscan has been added to the matchmaking map pool. Many of you know that in CS 1.6, Tuscan was a pro map that was played a lot. Now in CS:GO why not pro it would be fine in matches and for new teams it would be a good chance to progress.

Vitality - fnatic is a very lovely match of the day. The odds for the winner are:

This can be a really interesting matchup. Because fnatic started to play bigger than before recently. They defeated one of the top tier teams like NIP in the end despite being aware of NIP's recent form. They won a map against NaVi after that and it was the first one which was enough to make their opponent a little uncomfortable about the series. Now they are facing Vitality which are in a great shape these days. I see that there is only one map these teams play nearly the same which is Overpass. For the rest of the maps, one of them is bad while the other is performing great.

However I still don't think that fnatic are strong enough to defeat this Vitality. So Vitality @1.49 is a pretty nice choice.

Who's the new player? As far as I'm looking at their information, currently, they're completely without any new player. If you mean Chuvash, he's just a stand-in on the ESL but he's actually their coach as of the moment. I don't see any new players on them. The exciting thing about the chat wheels is they can be upgraded but I wouldn't spend any money on them.  Tongue

I am wondering who is that too. Or maybe he meant it is new compared to the old roster of Notail, ceb , Topson, Ana and Jerax.

Isn't the battle pass where they get the additional money for the prize pool? I wonder how much it will reach this year. Every year the prize pool gets higher and higher in TI. Will it reach over 50M this year?

I just made a prediction right here which is the OG, LGD and the Team Spirit will face in the final match of up top 4 teams in the Sea server there's a chance that T1 but we have the Fnatic and Boom.
T1 has to qualify first before predicting that they'll get into the finals of TI. But with their roster as of now, we're all thinking that they'll be the ones to qualify since Boom and Fnatic are both qualified already.
That will still depend on how the two new recruits will perform in the SEA Qualifier. They are not much competition left for them since Boom and Fnatic already qualified but we still do not know, Other teams might surprise us. I Hope ANA gets a larger hero pool or the opposite teams will just ban his heroes.

TI regional qualifiers begin next week right ? Any surprises that you can see by it ? Maybe Liquid not qualifying ? Soniqs will face The Cut most likely in the finals but Soniqs are a better team when they play serious dota as we saw that whey they took 2-0 on PSG in last major even if they lost all the other games besides that one haha.
Most of the qualifiers are scheduled to start next week while the first two qualifiers (SA and CIS) start in a few days. Team Liquid has been somewhat consistent against EU teams but they've been a hit or miss against other regional teams so I also have to agree with jakelyson that they're likely going to take one of the three spots and I think it comes down between them and Team Secret to take the first spot.

For me, SEA and CIS are the regions that could put up a surprise since there are so many teams that I think are on the same level or can keep up with the other teams but i'm not sure if they could maintain those level of play throughout the qualifiers.

The LPL Regionals starts later today and i'll be betting on EDG since they went on a surprising run in the playoffs finishing top 3 and if they show the same performance heading into this series then I think they should take down RNG again.

I wasn't wrong about fnatic today. They really managed to win on Ancient by 16-14 and at least didn't give up earlier against NaVi. Starting 1-0 behind might make some other teams in trouble maybe but NaVi were quite cold-blooded about that. They won 16-8 on Mirage and 16-7 on Inferno. This was still a comfortable matchup for them in general. However this was a good sign about fnatic to reborn slowly again. If they continue to play well we can see them among tier 1 teams again after some time.

There was a big difference in s1mple's performance between Mirage and Inferno maps by the way. Even though he was very ineffective on Inferno, electroNic and Perfecto were there to carry the team. It is very important for NaVi to do this when s1mple plays inconsistently. This shows how capable they still are when he isn't in charge.
