FaZe were heavily the favourite team of the series against Astralis and they already won the first map. They are likely to close up the series by a 2-0 win also. Astralis' being the 4th in the world ranking shouldn't mislead people because their recent performance has dropped a little. Maybe OG defeated Astralis and FaZe both but Astralis are still not playing better than FaZe as a team.

For the remaining matches of the day NIP @1.99 and Vitality @1.63 can be nice choices. NIP might seem a little riskier but I don't see Heroic playing better than them recently. It might be time for NIP to step up.
Astralis' Prime time was in 2017-18, they had an amazing roster and especially Device was doing wonders back then. There isn't much left of that squad anymore. They don't have the overwhelming power they used to in these tournaments.

The other matches of the day are NIP vs Heroic, followed by G2 and Vitality. In the G2- Vitality match, my favorite is Vitality like other bookies. The biggest reason for this is the new IGL signings Hooxi is having a really unproductive tournament and it is affecting team deeply. For the Heroic vs NIP match, Heroic seems closer to me to place a bet.
NIP just won over Heroic very closely 16-14 at map1, Inferno. That's NIP map pick but the result 16-14 shows Heroic was prepared to counter NIP's strats. And they almost got it, almost.
The next match is Mirage which is Heroic map pick. Expect Heroic to fight with everything they have in map2 to drag out over map3 since this is one of the spots left to Blast Premier Fall Final which will be held in November. Then the match between G2 and Vitality will see who's gonna take the final slot of this event.

Tho, it isn't over for teams like Astralis, NIP/Heroic, and G2/Vitality cause they can still fight over 2 slots left in the Blast Premier Fall Showdown which will be held in October.

Vitality are in an impressive form after their new transfer Spinx especially. Spinx is one of the skilled fraggers among all the teams now. He is playing a big role in all of their victories. Even in the matches they lost I didn't see him playing badly. Having a roster full of consistent players can carry them to upper levels in time. Maybe they couldn't beat NaVi but it isn't worth getting sad too much for. Because they still have a long way to go for reaching the level of the number one team in the world.

Comparing Vitality to G2, there is a big visible gap between them. HooXi is not one of the best IGLs now and his performance is dragging down the team. I don't think they can resist Vitality and eliminate them. But maybe they can win one map so a 2-1 victory for Vitality could be a nice choice.

OG look like they are on GodLike mode right now as nothing can stop them. I would have assume that Aster would take the game or at least 1 map but I don't think they can win 1 map as we are 3rd map in the game and OG is having 5k lead with a farmed PA ready to join the fight.

I've missed the Secret game by after getting beat by 2-0 from OG I don't think I even want to see the highlights lol.

I think Aster can still pull a map away from OG. They're not in an extremely bad situation and their heroes are very good with picking up squishy heroes that are out of position. They can even snipe PA so long as the OG reinforcements don't arrive that fast. At this point, avoiding any team fights is extremely necessary and picking off out of position heroes is the play. Though by the looks of it, I guess OG knew this is the only way they can be beat and they are sticking up as much as possible.

And just like that, Aster kind of turned around the fight to even on their favor.

Truly, OG is godlike in this ESL ONE finals. They have swept Aster in the biggest stage of this tournament. Who would have thought that they would be able to do the swept. Aster is known to choke on this stage but I do not expect them to get swept so easily by OG. They have no answer to OG. They even steal Mars on the the draft but OG was still able to get a better draft against them.

Very true, I have no doubts about Monet performance on this game but Ori keeps choking like this one on game like this even on the Majors. Ori is a great player during group stage in every tournament but he always keeps choking on playoffs even during he is on VG with Monet. I don’t really know what’s wrong to this player but he seems very good overall on games that has minimal pressure to them. Aster needs to add substitute midlaner during playoffs if they want to get championship on any international tournaments.

I’m waiting to see TT of ATF but he seems become mature on handling this kind of things.  Cheesy

ATF = ATM? Hahaha.

OG only proves they are better on this tournament. They manage to address all there errors during Arlington Major and completely analyze Aster strategy on this tournament. This is the weakness of Chinese team. They are using a same pattern in every and they are very good on being consistent but they always once the enemy already read there movements because they don’t have any backup plan when everything is not according to there plan. Look how Ori initiates clash when they are not the one controlling the game.  Cheesy

Not a chance:(. I mean OG was in their best form of all year and they won 2 Majors this year. This performance was out of this world as I think that even Team Spirit couldn't stop OG today or even PSG.LGD.

Next stop is TI and I must say Ammar is the best offline in the world at this moment at just 17 years old so massive gg to him and OG.

We are getting to the end of ESL One and first game tomorrow is OG against Secret. This one just screams over 2.5 for me and I am placing a bet on that for sure. If I had to pick the winner though I would probably take OG.
I like it as well after their result in the upper bracket the odds should be the other way around.

This weekend is so full of top tier matches scheduled for League. Mainly looking forward to the LCK finals though and rooting for Gen.G to secure that first seed.  Grin

LCK finals (Gen.G vs T1)
LPL lower bracket finals (EDG vs TES)
LEC lower bracket (FNC vs XL)
LCS upper bracket (C9 vs EG)

Did not yet decide for the final, Aster looks really good but they are sort of chokers which was already mentioned. If OG gets to the final, think I will back them to win or at least take some map handicap.
Drafts seem to be playing a huge role on how the matches are going. OG would pick a more snowball and team fight oriented draft while Secret will try to pick counters. Definitely an interesting game for sure and the one that'll most likely go over 2.5 games but I'll just bet map to map depending on picks.

The team who gets a better draft has more chance of winning this match. Both Secret and OG have very good fundamentals of the game. They know when and when not to commit. So whoever gets out drafted might lose the game. Based on their previous match in the upper bracket, this match could go to game 3 as well. Both teams are very even in skill and talent. But I am betting on OG to get ML because how poorly Secret performed against Aster and OG came from 2 big wins against Thunder and FNATIC. OG Has the momentum right now. And I think they already have a good grasp of the current patch.

South American Dota always seem to show up on big stages generally. Nigma have been in decent form but Thunder Awaken absolutely smashed them in both games. There were some decent plays from Nigma to sort of bring it back but it seemed a bit too late. 2nd match, to me, it felt like Nigma had a better draft with ET there to counter Sven and QOP to happily kite Sven. Wasn't the case in the match though. Really well played by Thunder Awaken.
Honestly, teams there have already improved but they're not getting the love that the other teams from the popular regions get. TA will face OG by tomorrow.

I don't want to be confident that OG will take this match because TA might surprise us.

Although, what I really think is OG will proceed and will win this series and will face Fnatic afterwards. Well, the game hasn't even started but let's see and if TA will show how underrated they are.

If they play as disciplined as they did against Nigma, they may have a chance. Only OG is very different from Nigma.  And OG defeated them 2-0 in Arlington, just a few weeks ago. I am sure OG will be the one moving forward in this match.
They've beaten Nigma and as well as 1 game for OG but still, OG took the series into 2-1.

They can still improve and they're already qualified for the TI11. I think they need to hire an experienced coach just like what beastcoast did before.

Although they already have their own coach, I think maybe like an analyst that will help them with all their plays. Someone who's been there at the top and now just playing casual and is retired.

It will be a great addition to them and they might end up with a better place by having that person.

Fnatic has no capability to shut down OG if they will just keep reacting on OG moves, They should be the one dictating the game if they really want to defeat OG because they have a very good foundation on handling close match like this.

I watch many games of Fnatic before and they mange to beat those higher rank teams by outplaying them. They are capable but they are just limited right now because they are playing with stand in pos1 that they only play for the purpose of this tournament only. I have trust on Palos capability as good carry and they will not be on this position if they are not strong enough to kick Entity and get 1 game to Aster.

We should trust Fnatic to do the impossible to beat OG on this tournament.

And there you have it. OG managed to shut down Fnatic's tournament dreams with a very convincing game 3. Lots of misplays from Armel and good catch by Chu's ES. Didn't have enough time to place my bets earlier today but if I were to bet I would have gone full OG money line @ 1.6. Fnatic has some good tricks up their sleeve but it's just too much for an incomplete Fnatic at this point. Props to them for still trying though and hopefully, a good TI run will be on their way.

Sadly but true. I don’t know what’s happening to Armel on this match but he seems not focused on this match against OG. He keeps jumping on position without any vision despite his hero is very squeeshy. This is what I’m afraid on betting with Fnatic ML especially when they got the first game because they always become careless once they feel safe by securing 1 game hile OG is very good on reverse sweeping match.

Still ggwp for reaching 4th place on this tournament. I wonder on how far they will go on TI instead of Outsider.

As a Puck player myself (7000+ MMR in SEA), I am displeased seeing Armel jump into fights without making sure that he has a way out. ES is not a hero that catches Puck normally, but in this game 3, Chu managed to lock him down a lot of times making Armel's hero an automatic minus one for Fnatic. Even the CK doesn't feel like he's a hero on this match, as his impact is nowhere to be seen on clashes and huge engagements. Oh well, just wishing Fnatic to come back stronger on their TI run. I actually saw a glimmer of hope for Fnatic after DJ's continuous performance but again, if only one person is performing and the rest are slumping, then there's no point reaching dragging the game IMO.
They havent banned out that ES which is indeed one of their mistake because it could really lockdown those initiations. Its true that Armel using up that puck wasnt really that too good when it comes on executions.
I dont know if its just me but those skill triggers or usage arent really that fast enough unlike other teams mid players which is far more better. Also with their carry PALOS which had able to win up previous matches using
Alchemist but once it had been banned then there's no other carry on which he could really make good plays with it.It is true that it wasnt really that much effective on Game 3 where
it is a battle of illusions against TB but since there's ES then its understandable on whose on the upperhand.

Both teams are evenly good at this point. OG kinda reminds me of the old team Liquid ( Nigma ), they totally slayed the lower bracket back then pretty much the same as the current OG. Anyway the best odds for over 2.5 maps on this game is probably on sportsbet, getting 1.97 with odds boost while site like rollbit gave 1.85 for the same type of bet

Did not yet decide for the final, Aster looks really good but they are sort of chokers which was already mentioned. If OG gets to the final, think I will back them to win or at least take some map handicap.

I'd take Aster if somehow Team Secret ended up winning though, its pretty clear that Secret was dominated by Aster on their previous game so honestly even if they are some sort of chokers then I still think that they are going to win against Secret easily.

Liquid beat Heroic 16-6 on Vertigo, map pick by Liquid. The next map is Overpass and also Heroic map pick. Heroic has a very good record on Overpass which at 100% win rate in 5 maps while Liquid only at 50% win rate over 4 maps. Very likely Heroic going to win their map pick and we'll have to go to map3, Mirage to see who's going to pass the Knockout Stage or step down to the Last Chance Stagemet.

I predicted a Heroic win for this series but Liquid eliminated them by 2-0 after Vertigo and Overpass. I was okay to Heroic's losing the first map but Overpass was winnable for Heroic also. They just lost both maps without making a big effort. jabbi had a really bad day by having only 9 and 7 kills on these maps. Liquid are in a great form these days. The team performance is very impressive. When we check the stats of this series we can easily see that everyone played his role in the way it should have been.

Now Heroic is NIP's opponent and the series is tomorrow. The winner is moving on and honestly it will be a very close series. But if we consider the head-to-heads, NIP have a huge dominance. They won all of their last six matches. If they manage to use this to their advantage their win might be a good option to bet on.
Liquid coming at BLAST Premier Fall too strong bro. They beat G2, beat Complexity, 2-0 swiftly to NIP and Heroic, only lose to Navi. I think they're very close to the peak of this lineup. NA CS scene seems like in the age of revival. First, it was Furia and now Liquid is back to their form of tier 1 team.
The match between Navi and Vitality just ended in 2-0 for Navi. Liquid, Navi, and OG took the prize of 1-3 spots for the BLAST Premier Fall Final. Tomorrow, we'll see 3 more spots to reveal as teams compete for it. For NIP and Heroic, I also think NIP has a better chance to win here. Heroic's performance for this tournament is kinda off.

I was at least correct about my prediction on NaVi's match. After hearing that s1mple was going to play I was even more confident about the victory. He didn't impress us on Inferno but he was amazing on Mirage. With 25 kills he carried the team to a 2-0 win. However I don't mean that Vitality were bad. They actually maintained their good performance against them but it is still NaVi that we are talking about. NaVi are like the counter of nearly every team in the world.  Grin  This huge discipline of the team seems like unbreakable for now and they have a really good coach like B1ad3.
