DOTA2: Finally nice to see some top teams/inter region fight against each other. Feel sad for Nigma who are win-less in 6 maps in a row. They are the "wildcard" and there was nothing wild about them.
There's no more hope for Nigma and T1 even if they win with their remaining games. While for PSG.LGD, they still have the chance to be included to the 3 teams that will get in for the group stages. Too sad watching these two teams that have replaced their off lane because of the covid-19. I think they'll perform better if MC and Kuku is with them instead of their replacement. Anyway, GGs to them. What I'm amaze to watch is with team Liquid and Gambit, they're showing how strong they are.

Damn, What a crazy match between Virtus Pro and EG I am witnessing.
just insane!
for those who missed it, this clip from Jame in map 1 pretty much tells you how crazy this match was https://youtu.be/D81LB2FDEg4
and then Dev1ce against Liquid!!! solo carrying his entire team with some of the best CS i've seen from him in a long time...i picked a good day to watch CSGO (:

Jame and Yekindar are the core of VP. They are the one who are usually giving the team first kill and give their team advantage. That Ace from Jame was sick but TBH there were lot of ACE moments in that game. Check out the Cerq kill on the OT 3rd map (I guess it was the round that put EG score to 17), that guy denied the bomb defuse with AWP shot through smoke. There were lot of CT under that smoke and he hit the right one..damn...

I didn't watched Astralis vs EG completely but the scoreline made me watch EG's game against VP and boy it turned out to be so great decision. EG are ranked in double digits but they are playing like a team in top 5-6 IMO. (judging on the base of VP and Astralis game)

betting wise, how did u guys do? it was a pretty good day for me, started with a win-lose-win-lose kind of loop until i said fck it and went with a live multi after Fnatic lost game 2 + Astralis Cool

Damn good. Here were my two bets from yesterday:

LOL yeah, and moral of the story today is: do not bet on teams that are missing players from the main lineup  Cheesy

The One Esports Singapore Major is about to come. But there were a lot of substitutes for some teams because some of their players got tested positive for covid-19. They're at least 5 players got tested positive and won't be able to attend but were replaced.
https://liquipedia.net/dota2/ONE_Esports/Singapore_Major/2021
yooo, this is key info! 👍 i was ready to start throwing mbtc to teams i didn't know were going to have stand-ins. Kinda sucks that mind_control won't be part of Nigma. And Navi will miss two players, devastating blow.

Actually there's another update about NaVi, they're no longer going to play and also beastcoast. This virus has really made a lot of unexpected things and even this awaited first LAN during the pandemic has broken our expectation.
Kuku won't be able to play and other players too, that's just sad but still the action goes on March 27.
Its not just NaVi that was really affected. Most teams from NA really garnered problems because some of their players got the Virus and most teams are already looking for Stand Ins which really sucks since everybody was expecting every team to be ready with their original lineup.

It also sucks for players within the SEA region because they are already within SEA but contracting the virus is really something that they focused on and not force them to be healthy immediately. Everybody's health is the priority of Valve and I would hope that they will do something about it.
Yeah, I see YawaR's team still in need of one player. Who knows if Ramzes will be adopted by them if they still don't have a player for their last position or it could be sumail but I don't think he'll play pos 4.
Since Ramzes is already on Singapore after the announcement of the management that they'll no longer participate, I think that's a good choice for Yawar's team.

Damn, What a crazy match between Virtus Pro and EG I am witnessing. Haven't seen such match for a long time. VP got the first map but EG were on top in 2nd [won my bet] and in 3rd map I had bet on overtime-Yes and my hopes were all down after VP went on strong with 8 stratight rounds win on Map 3 but after 14-4 scoreline EG made a crazy comeback to come down to 14-15 and last round VP somehow hold EG down and 15-15 Boom!! Its OT !!!!!

All loss  from yesterday betting on Astralis and O2.5 map on Fnatic vs TL recovered... Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

i bet that as soon as they started practicing they knew how screwed they were by watching washed up Mag playing again lol

Kuku will also miss the major, and now Borax from Aster will also miss the tourney...wtf?? stay tuned cos anything can happen in the next 13 hours until round-robin starts

talking about the start of this major, i'm gonna pull an all-nighter and try to watch at least 3 games, Liquid - Nigma, Liquid - PSG.LGD and T1 - VG...anyone else?  Smiley  btw, bookmakers have Vici Gaming to win at 1.81, worth it considering T1 will play with a stand-in? 🤔
I've read the tweet probably from one of the NaVi managers that they're no longer going to play and as he tweet that post, Ramzes is already in Singapore, poor Ramzes.  Grin
Yeah, Borax(boboka) will miss the major due to the reason of this: Aster's Borax cannot make Singapore DPC due to Prostitution
As for T1, forev is a good off lane but I don't think that it's worth putting your money with them since it's better if it's Kuku.

oh dear, what JAME did in the last round of OT in map 1...saw it live, crazy stuff! but let's not forget Virtus.Pro were winning 14-4 lol

forgot about the LEC Playoffs which starts today. Low stake on Fnatic  ahc -2.5 at 2.65 odds (boosted)...no football today means more mbtc to throw around, amirite? :-P

Where have you found odds like that for Vici? I have @1.93 for them to win 2:0 so I am considering taking T1 to take one map @1.8 as more value. These games are BO2, true? Just judging from the odds I can see on Sportsbet, would not be the first time their provider had some problems with eSports.
Buff.bet
Yeah, it's BO2, but as usual, Sportbet are not offering 1X2 cos the provider still doesn't know how to offer Best-of-2 markets (just correct score which is kinda meh, imo). But I don't see the line for T1 to take a map on SB, Buff.bet have it @1.92, though i still think Vici could win this

i dodged a bullet with the -1.5 Astralis, but i put the stake on the Spain NT game and got punished, so i was gonna gonna lose anyway, meh...Today: O2.5 VP - EG @1.97 https://i.ibb.co/wB8MF85/v6df54v.png
Oh, and Astralis ML at 1.60 at time of posting, hmmm...They're playing like dogsh*t lately, but i might take the bait here tbh, let's see how much the line moves after america wakes up, but 1.60 for the danes? too good

Yesterday just when I was thinking that favourites are winning matches today and so Astralis should also win their match, Astralis lost their match against EG as well  Cry Cry Grin. Astralis were making so much mistakes yesterday and EG did their best to punish Astralis when they had the chance and it turned out to be fruitful for them as they have defeated one of the top teams in their starting match so that's a good start for them.
After that map 2 it felt like Astralis' got their momentum back but EG proved me wrong and like you've said Astralis making too many mistakes and losing rounds they're supposed to be taking. Team Liquid's handicap would've been a solid bet today as the early line was hovering at 1.6 but the odds already shifted after that upset from EG.

Today I got this nice two leg parlay between Sandbox and Gen G @1.9 both teams needing this win as Gen G could secure the second semifinal spot while Sandbox still fighting for the last playoffs spot with 2 series left to go.

Astralis have tho yet to face Virtus.Pro , Liquid. Virtus.pro is a difficult opponent and Liquid are also turning out to be difficult one slowly as Fallen is leading the team and so far TL have been performing well.

Can't wait for the event to start. no matter we are missing a couple of players I am excited to see my first DOTA LAN event. I got into eSports only during pandemic when "regular" sports were on pause. I am also curious to see how top teams from different regions match up.
There's one actually that have already started in China just a week or two ago but it's only for Chinese players. But this one is massive and as what we're always waiting for, a major which is one of the passes for the teams to earn their ticket to The International which has a higher prize pool. Through winning this major, they'll get DPC points as needed for the TI. I can't wait, just a day and several hours left.

I'm leaning on the EG handicap since I still have doubts on Astralis' recent form, even though they took down EG 2-0 recently I think it might go 2-1 this time.

Good call. did not expect that tbh.  Tongue
Just had a look on the last few matches of Astralis and it seems like they arent invincible like 2 years ago any longer.

I had HLE -1.5 and then I decided on more safe HLE to win, in the other game you mentioned I have KT to take at least one map so 2:1 for Brion sounds good Smiley Given my luck with eSports lately something will go wrong for sure.
You're spot on with the picks  Wink Nongshim drafted poorly during game 2 and 3 giving KT the slight edge at the 5v5 team fights once I saw their draft during the last game I had to cashout my ticket since they're lacking front line. Once KT had a nice advantage they nearly threw it back after doing some flashy individual plays but Nongshim made some costly misplays as well.

later today, Astralis - EG...hard to know how this one's gonna go, astralis have been underpeforming lately, and EG have a new guy in the roster, oBo, who is pretty good, but this is gonna be EG first game after Ethan left 🤔 i'm seriously considering -1.5 handicap Astralis at 1.92 odds
