You won @ralle14. NaVi were so off today with decisions. Well actually they usually are sometimes but today they were so off. They could have lost 2-0 after giving off a 4-5 round lead in Dust 2 to allow Gambit to push the map to OT. Gambit now tops the table with 3 wins but Furia also could be on top of the table if they win against another Brazilian team - Mibr which I think they will.
Yeah Gambit pick hits but the parlay lost thanks to T1 and Team Spirit.  Tongue

During the first half of map 2 it nearly looked like Navi was about to pull away with a double digit lead but Gambit bounced back at the last few rounds and secure those crucial T rounds.

Later today i'm taking Furia @1.5 vs C9, that should be an easier match for them and a much needed one as well since Gambit will most likely go 4-0.

Edit : What an absolute stomp from C9 on both maps and at the same time bad performance on the side of Furia. Time to avoid these guys once again.

VCT or Valorant Champion Tour: Master 1 is currently happening right now, there are many regions that's having this tournament.
There are 3 VCT Master Stage before the Valorant Champions, check the tour structure here: https://playvalorant.com/en-us/news/esports/announcing-the-2021-valorant-champions-tour/

later at 8pm (forum time), SEN vs FaZe Clan will face in the finals of VCT Masters 1 in NA. Gonna bet on SEN as we know they're very competitive and TenZ of C9 signed up as a player for SEN, it's an OP team tho.

SEN already defeated FaZe, they just win in the lower bracket that's why they'll be in the finals.

you can check the results of other VCT in different regions: https://liquipedia.net/valorant/VALORANT_Champions_Tour/2021

Team One vs Cloud9  im think that gon be not an easy match for Cloud9 , Team One play very good and Cloud9 the best time for this team is over. Sad
MIBR vs FURIA esports my favorite FURIA fresh and young team last matches they play so great.

I got another nice parlay ready for later, what do you guys think ? Is it good enough or will Gambit disappoint.  Grin

Gambit is a nice pick and they have shocked NaVi in Katowice but NaVi knows what mistakes they did then and they weren't really happy about it. This match sure serves as a rematch and things won't go down easy. NaVi after falling against Furia will try to change things from here on. Every match is now kinda crucial for them if they need to progress. I might go for O2.5 maps on this one.

BTW Mibr vs Team One went on as expected- O2.5 but have to agree that the map on which Team One won , it was quite close. Mibr almost made a comeback but Team One won some rounds in later stages and won the map.

I knew that second map would end up way too close after FURIA got five rounds during the first half of T side since that's been the story in the other groups as well.

My main pick for today is T1 -1.5 vs Afreeca, another must win series for T1 so they could get a better seeding for playoffs and with their previous 2 wins I doubt they'll drop a map unless they change their starting roster.

Navi haven't been their best and they have tendency to fall out in middle or give the momentum too easily. And we know FURIA and how well they are with aggression. It would be a very tough contest but I think I am gonna go with FURIA on this one.
I was going to place some bets and back FURIA, but then i checked the head-to-head with Navi and i said "nope"...2-0 for Navi in the last three series against the brazilians, not good enough...i'll just keep an eye on the live markets.
MIBR - Team One later today, good game for brazilian fans, quite the borefest for me 😂 quick 2-0 for mibr

These matches are close and better stay away from them rather than betting on them but still FURIA are playing great. 1 map up already but they are down  on second map. They have the advantage still so they have quite a time to think about this and make it in third map.

Mibr-Team One I know Mibr are a good team but still there is a part of which says Team One are gonna take at least one map. Mibr is also not the team to give in too easily so I probably might go for O2.5 (not with a big stake tho).

next meatches for tomorrow:
Gambit Esports vs Cloud9  should be an esay match for Gambit
Natus Vincere vs FURIA esports  im think Natus will win they play very good the last matches
MIBR vs Team One  here its hard to say butt im think MIBR win.

As for Mibr vs Team One, both are new teams to me as I haven't seen much of them. It would be a tough contest for sure and since it is hard to pick a winner , I might go for O2.5 on this one.

Somehow, I always feel like some E-sports website is being too biased to NaVi because you are right that they really are not this month and some teams deserve some recognition to take their Number 1 spot on some rankings. Simple and electronic are still two good players with great back up and I just want to see them play more to prove that they are still number 1.

@soliton   i've added it to the OP! looks good, eh? 👍

idk who Los Angeles Thieves or Toronto Ultra are but did you win?
Good win on the C9 handicap and yes the parlay hits Cheesy out of all the legs this one ended up being the closest with a 3-2 scoreline. Also these teams are from the cod leagues I watch a bit of cod here and there but I rarely place bets because their schedule usually lines up with the other tournaments during the weekends.
Nice
I've never watched competitive COD though, the whole cod multiplayer isn't my cup of tea tbh, but I may add this game to the list of "esports that i should dive into to learn more about the scene, meta, etc",, i did something similar last year with Hearthstone, Rocket League and Quake, pretty fun experience (:

@soliton   that is a nice looking, well designed clean table...do you mind if i quote it and put it in the OP??   Smiley  would give you a few merits but i've been a bit dry lately,,  will remember it for later (;

Thanks, would be nice if you put that matrix  in the OP.

odds made it look like it was gonna much closer, but far from it, eh?
idk who Los Angeles Thieves or Toronto Ultra are but did you win?

i had one ticket today

i thought C9 was gonna take OVP or Vertigo pretty easily since Navi had 0% winrate there but the russians finally won there...And then C9 won D2 which was Navi's best map with a 100% winrate...weird, huh?  Roll Eyes

Furia vs Team One is an easy one. So yeah pretty much boring first day in CS as well.
it should be an easy 32-0 for Furia, but we've seen some major upsets in the tourney, so... 🤔

Gambit vs Mibr was easy match for Gambit but sure mibr did pulled off in 2nd map but Gambit didn't gave them any chance in 3rd map. Navi vs Cloud9 is still ongoing with Navi leading but Navi gave up their momentum and Cloud9 pushed them to OT. Navi are just giving it too easy in middle so not so sure about this one. Cloud9 can still have chance.

So far table C has kicked off as expected but there are still matches today. Furia vs Team One is an easy one. So yeah pretty much boring first day in CS as well.

talk about a boring day in the esports space, right? checked to see what was live on twitch earlier and literally nothing was on, no cs, no LoL, no dota...nothing worth watching, just very low-tier stuff  Lips sealed

tomorrow's a different day tho...G2 - FaZe is gonna be the main event, imo. G2 didn't look sharp vs. ENCE the other day, and this is a must-win for FaZe (a win for G2 could mean playoffs are guaranteed). Two competitive teams going all out in a key match...sounds to me like the game could go to the decider, no? i've got a ticket on over 2.5 maps

been missing my daily fix of Dota (Singapore major can't come soon enough), so i'm thinking maybe Over 2.5 in Team Spirit - Tundra game? two of the best teams in the playoffs, 50/50 game imo

Its really sad to encounter a whole day without seeing any competitive matches from the games that you expect to watch. I mostly only watch DOTA 2 and CS:GO games but Valorant is really being hot on the scene right now and some ex-pro's from CS:GO are joining some Valorant pro teams. There are also some pro's that suddenly disappeared in the CS:GO scene to just come up with a team with Valorant although kudos to Valorant for catering all this different talents and giving them the opportunity to show themselves since its a new game (in the competitive scene).

The odds are so one sided on the next group it seems like a trap  Cheesy i'll switch back to League again since i'm more confident on Nongshim @1.7 winning against Afreeca. Last time they faced during this split Afreeca won 2-0 but they're currently on a losing streak while Nongshim is coming off a solid win against DRX.

I also have this longshot parlay for the tipster tournament, somewhat confident on all the games to hit except for T1.  Grin

Faze, mousesports and Vitality are already out so yeah not gonna risk betting on this group B anymore. Will head over to next group matches. Umm Furia fans you say, I am kinda fan of their play. Love their aggression in their plays a lot and group C are full of underdogs and I am bit sure that Furia will make it easy past them and make into top 3 at least.
Vitality(2-2) still have a chance since they're facing NiP(3-1) so this is basically like the decider match for both teams but the outcome of the other games could also affect their chances of qualifying due to the tiebreaker rules.

Edit : Here's an interesting tweet of the possible tiebreakers scenarios.

Oh yeah!! they were. Totally missed that but that was a difficult situation for Vitality. Anyway NIP beat Vitality and they are out now. The win for NIP makes them top the table B with ENCE taking the 2nd spot after their loss to Faze and G2 taking 3rd spot after their loss to mousesports. Well I am glad that mousesports at  least got 1 win in the end.
