There's so many games scheduled for today but i'll stick to league since i've been eyeing this one after the semi finals, EDG to win @1.55 vs RNG it's one of the most anticipated series and there's not many league games left since the other regions are also nearing the end of the playoffs. Both teams lost to FPX, EDG made it close but fell short, expecting EDG to win this series since RNG looked so volatile against TOP and I doubt they'll switch their game plan since they're kind of similar to TOP where they thrive on these crazy aggressions. RNG have the advantage on top lane with Xiaohu and jungle with Wei but EDG have the edge on mid lane with Scout and bot lane with Viper and Meiko.

Edit : Series isnt over yet but its all RNG at the moment while EDG looking a bit off after getting outdrafted in game 1.

Sometimes, if the opponents manage to "discover" the strategy / tactic used, it is difficult to win. It will be necessary to adjust this strategy.
If they find something that is going to be detrimental to the winning of your team then it is the mission of the other team to find a strategy that will counter the new strategy that the other team employs. That is the beauty of team based eSports, you have to create a strategy on the fly.

I agree. But if they fail to make this adaptation in time, winning becomes more difficult. Everyone who likes to play, knows that it is not always easy to change the strategy in the game, when it goes in the middle.

Cadian's clutch was especially impressive because he has done quite alot of casting and work outside of purely being a player.  He isnt the very top player but it shows a depth to the game when experience counts for alot in actions when combined with a very good player who can put it into effect.   Also he was just lucky to live, every clutch is some good fortune and benefit from the team also though it appears to be purely a titanic solo round victory
The clip with the flying awp gifted to a player end of the round also is funny and another random bonus that is part of why I appreciate CS most to watch; so yea he lost this round but right to the last second there are elements which are still altering the game balance and prospects for that very next round.  Keeps it interesting  Cool

what is going on with Heroic
An army in retreat is at its weakest, its often the case a team requires momentum to do best if they lose a spirit to their play, coordination and confidence can decline it may be overly damaging.   For some reason csgo especially seems to emphasize this

Got some roster changes for Fnatic and Team Nigma. W33 of Nigma is out and replaced by ILTW and will play the same role 1 or 2.
w33 was SO bad in the las major, i think that was the final nail in the coffin, he's been underperforming for so long, time to take a break i guess...Now let's see how Nigma performs in the DreamLeague which starts tomorrow. Thx for the info
You're welcome. He really did a poor performance for the past season and tournaments that he's been with the Team Nigma. I guess with ILTW, they can easily adopt his playstyle and he has more hero pool if I'm not mistaken. Their first match on DreamLeague is on April 17 and it's already with Secret, what an exciting matchup. And for the first day, OG is back with Ana, let's see if they'll be far better than with Midone.

talking about the ESL pro league, just saw Cadian's clutch in the last map to win the series and it was 🔥🔥 found the clip in the esl twitter acc https://twitter.com/ESLCS/status/1381348016590835722
i woulda loved to see that live, even more so in LAN with 50k ppl screaming in a stadium, imagine that! Seriously tho, hands down one of the greatest clutches of all time

anyway, looking forward to BLAST premier

I also missed the final between Heroic and Gambit but watching that clutch it seems like it was an intense one. What a clutch to finish the match and win the ESL Pro League 13.. To me it is unreal, legendary play. Gambit must be kicking themselves but they also played so much good CS to reach the  finals. Reminded me of simple clutch playing from TL in major.

BLAST Premier next huh.. I am up.

just got home after a crazy day in the meatspace, i missed everything, LPL, the LEC final with the reverse sweep , Heroic-Gambit (there were 4 OTs in train, wtf??), etc, etc

The LPL semifinals starts in less than an hour, I got FPX to win @1.8 vs EDG one of the main reasons why I favor FPX here is the jungle matchup EDG's jungler didn't stood out as much in the last series against TES and Tian's performance is great throughout the playoffs.

So far it seems like ESL Pro League winner should be Gambit.
I'm also expecting Gambit to take it all but man after that series between NiP specifically the second map Heroic might have a solid chance tbh.

It feels like Heroic is the value pick on this series since their second half performance against NiP and Furia was very clean.

they've been so bad lately, just painful to watch.  And BLAST Premier starts next week so there's no time to analyze what just happened, gotta prepare for that first match against OG, a team that have a fresh blood in the roster with NiKo and FlameZ...quite the debut for these guys, eh? against no other than Astralis

They were so good in 18-19 and even in 20's they were performing good but after those breaks it was all upside down.  I still recall how good they used to be with Train and in Inferno. Their Inferno map control was also so good back then. Now they have lost their shine.

OG should be an easy one for Astralis but still can't be sure as both are having quite a bad performance ... OG a bit more on bad performance side so Astralis should win that one.

As for Furia and Heroic, i'll take Furia at plus odds I honestly think this one might end up 2-0 for Furia since i'm not convinced enough on Heroic's 2-0 win against NiP during the play ins.

Furia and Heroic is a toss up. Heroic are a good team struglled a bit earlier but are also playing some good CS. On other hand Furia are a very agressive team. It's like a martingale strat we have in dice, if it pays out then it will sure win you the match but if someone reads your play like a book then Furia are gone. I also placed quite a trust on brazillian side but the opponents were good enough to counter their aggressive plays. It's a risky one.

So far it seems like ESL Pro League winner should be Gambit. And if they win then I think they will get the #1 spot. They are right now #3.   Shocked impressive for a team who wasn't taken as a serious contender couple months ago and now are running over all the top teams like crazy. <- Any comments on this one? What do you guys feel? Is it that all the other teams are playing bad CS or Gambit is really good.

later today, G2 - Rogue...could we see another stomp today? i think so, got my eyes on the -1.5 handicap. But first, FURIA - Heroic over maps at 1.95. Hopefully, this will be a close match, been saying that for Heroic for a while now but every match is a breeze for them. Let's see if FURIA can keep that momentum going
I really like G2 as well going for a small play on the -1.5 handicap @2.04 since they took care of Rogue 2-0 in the regular season.

Edit : Rip G2, they kept going for those weird Karma drafts that never works and Rogue's jungler was just feasting throughout the early game.

as everyone expected (except dumb bookmakers, all of them had the handicap at 1.7x, thanks for the odds 😂), Damwon won comfortably, a walk in the park, ez money, ez life

Gen.G giving Senna to Ghost, big brain move there 🤣

It further shocked me when Train (Astralis map pick) was finished with 16-2 FURIA scoreline.  Shocked

FURIA - Astralis is a tremendous toss up imo so i'd rather skip it and wait for the semifinals tomorrow.

Good thing you skipped, like you predicted it was quite a surprise that FURIA won it. I am a fan of FURIA but yesterday I was also supporting Astralis to go ahead and plan a revenge against Gambit who are 3-0 up against Danish side in this last few H2H meetings but it came out to be quit opposite.

It further shocked me when Train (Astralis map pick) was finished with 16-2 FURIA scoreline.  Shocked

You're welcome. There are a lot of esports games that are listed on that website but if you're into a particular game only, it's okay because it's likely that you can also find it there. Aside from the tournaments, the update includes change of roster, a change of team, some personal information of the professional esports players is also there. It's like the most popular game stop for everyone who looks for such information although there are also some others that has been and hasn't been mentioned.

Yes, from what I've seen, I already found interesting games that are not very popular. I found the site impractical, but maybe I haven't noticed everything it has yet. I'll stay tuned. Thanks again.  Wink
You're welcome, keep on digging the website because it's for esport that you can imagine.

Another website that could be helpful is www.gosugamers.net. They also have news regarding team shuffles and upcoming tournaments. One good thing I like about Gosugamers is that it has a ranking system that shows which team is really great among different regions. You could also do betting within their website but they are still not using Cryptocurrencies at the moment.
I've used gosugamers during the old Dota days but liquipedia just came out and it became more popular. I missed the old days but this is also a good resource that you've brought up, it's also a known website even til' now.

a small recovery after 3 consecutive lossess yesterday (:

No league today so it's time to go back to CS and I like that stake brought back their first map insurance.
nice promo. Max amount is a bit low imo, but still, you don't see these type of promos very often in crypto bookies 👍

I apologize. I believe that this has already been indicated in this topic, but where can I find a complete list of all types of e-sport tournaments that exist?
https://liquipedia.net/
That website covers most of the esports games that we have and also the tournaments that they have, finished-ongoing-upcoming tournaments.
It includes amateur tournaments and as well as professional leagues for esports.

Thank you very much.
It was something of the genre I was thinking about. I'll take a closer look.

This site is great and is a top level english professional soccer league for football clubs affiliated with the Premier League Football Association. Competing by 20 clubs each season this is one of the most anticipated and must discuss league watch clubs in the world of club football making the Premier League so exciting even below the first ranked league table.

And do you know any soccer tournament, for beginners?
