Play2Live provides solutions to eliminate the following problems of existing streaming platforms:
Limited opportunities for users and streamers to interact and no personalization options.
Restriction of users in the ability to earn from their hobbies.
Advertising is persistent and usually there is no option to disable it. The users are frustrated with the advertising and try to avoid it in any possible way.
Every user who wishes to stream their game and earn from this action cannot do it on a regular basis, while they expect to start earning money just after the registration in the system and wish to have more tools to monetize their streams better
okay! and how exactly are you going to eliminate those problems?
Good question! we will overcome the main challenges of current streaming industry by introducing a blockchain-based streaming platform, it includes:
Boosting interaction by launching an advanced bilateral system of tasks between viewers and streamers.
The ability to start earning as a streamer in 11 ways from the very first broadcast.
The ability for viewers to earn in 5 ways just for watching streams.
Fast transactions with low fees. Besides, the uniqueness of our project lies in the comprehensiveness of the system we are building. Play2Live will include not only streaming, but also betting, gambling P2P CDN solutions. As well as that, the platform will be open for integrations with third-party systems.

Betting is an integral part of eSports. Play2Live publishes the coefficients from different bookmakers (which provide their API for integration into the platform and agree to accept LUC as a means of payment for these types of bets). Users can wager on several betting websites simultaneously while watching the stream broadcast without the need to actually visit these websites. After bets have been approved by bookmakers via API, users will be redirected to their websites. Bets are placed in LUC and earnings are formed according to the model of revenue sharing with bookmakers.

As of April 2nd, Play2Live has officially distributed LUC to token sale participant’s wallets as specified in our token distribution guidelines.

Hello! Refereum is developing a solution primarily for game developers to cut down marketing costs. They partner up with Twitch and Unity to eliminate middlemen and boost fan base. Although both Play2Live and Refereum boast a similar feature - an ability to watch or play the game and get paid, our products are qualitatively different. While we develop a streaming platform, Refereum develops an affiliate marketing solution for game developers. Refereum uses blockchain (smart contracts) only for one feature - to reward user who play game when they meet some certain criteria. This is the only implementation of blockchain, while in Play2Live we use blockchain for a whole set of 15 features ranging from a bilateral system of tasks from the streamers to the viewers to peer-to-peer CDN service when users can allow to share their internet channel with others and get paid - the platform is therefore able to save up on CDN maintenance costs. The influx of the unique users is ensured by negotiated deals with streamers, tournament operators and other partners that agree to migrate to the platform transferring their fan base. The diverse functionality of the platform that boosts interactivity acts as a trigger for the steady user growth. We expect monthly active audience (MAU) to reach 10M in Q2 2019.

What will distinguish this product from other similiar projects like StreamToken ?
Surely there is a bunch of crypto related projects that target streaming such as Stream, Refereum, Flux etc. But if you scrutinize their whitepapers (or in case of Stream - public info on the site since they have not yet release a WP), you will find out that Play2Live solves much more issues rather than those described by these projects. Stream aims to cut off middlemen in streaming just as Refereum does. Flux does not target streaming in the first place. While P2L is for sure a comprehensive solution for the market and we definitely sure we will be able to attract a solid user base.  Briefly, I can say that all these projects offer another method of monetization for the streamers. The one that cuts middlemen and ultimately increases the cash flow of the streamers. While P2L offers not only a new monetization scheme (btw, not only for the streamers), but a completely new approach to interaction. I would advise you to delve deep in our WP or check out Medium
