Theres a huge potential for ETH to reach .5BTC or even 1 ETH= 1BTC. Just think of this, ETH is powered by hundreds of ERC20 alts. Just try to imagine if these coins doubles, tripples in the next few years. This would make ETH a huge or bigger than BTC.

After looking at the current slow growth of the bitcoin I’m sure that many people will start switching to the ETH like currency because it’s really fast in transaction as well as having very low fees. In addition to that I can just see the downfall of the bitcoin while on the other hand altcoins or more specifically ETH is showing some green signal in its rise. The whole thing is pointing out towards, go for the ETH and that’s the future you have got. ! So let’s be it and start moving with the crowd.

Eth may grow this year, but the price will not beat bitcoin, because bitcoin is the most popular type of digital currency. Although the current price movement of Eth is able to increase slowly but will not shift the position of bitcoin. Ethereum is next to BTC?

Yes it could be next. They have differences because ETH is token and BTC is crypto but it could be in the same line.

BTC is by far the biggest. ETH will take so much time coping up to be at the same level. However, it's really not impossible for ETH to become successful as BTC. It will be next to BTC but it can never go above it. BTC is currency and ETH is a token.
it takes quite a long time for ethereum to compete with bitcoin, indeed ethereum currently shows a lot of good development, and because ethereum is an atlcoin that has enough potential as a place of investment, now many people are starting to use it as a place of investment, because conscious will be growth that continues to grow, but on the other hand ethereum still can not be his rival,
For me,i agree that ethereum have to take a long way to go in order to replace bitcoin. Probably Eth will be next to BTC but not to replace it.Because of that we should know that Bitcoin is a currency while Ethereum is a token.

I do not think if the value of ETH will exceed the current value of bitcoin, although ETH including altcoin is quite potential but the value ratio is still very much, and it feels heavy if ETH can grow so fast to pursue bitcoin values. at least not, not in the near future. Ethereum is next to BTC?

I have thought, maybe ethereum will be able to beat the market price bitcoin but it may need a long time, as a comparison the price of both now very much.

it seems that it is very difficult because ETH also has a lot of supply that many make ETH price is still very cheap, different if the total supply of ETH lot then ETH will become very expensive like bitcoin.
Right now Eth has been growing potentially higher than that of bitcoin. This doesn't mean that bitcoin will be overcome by ethereum. In terms of market capital Eth might grow higher than that of bitcoin, but in terms of pricing it won't reach bitcoin. More projects getting existence on ethereum platform adds more potential to Eth.
Growing doesn’t matter at all mate the thing is eth will never reach to the price of bitcoin because bitcoin is name of belief and people investing in it still it has low values as compared to past because they have surety that bitcoin will rescue them and it will save them from every economic crisis, eth is also good but don’t say like this bitcoin is king of crypto and all these are like kids and ethereum will be going down soon.That is what he said lol, it seems like you just misunderstand it, he clearly said that ethereum is next to bitcoin but will never overcome bitcoin. I agree that ethereum is next to bitcoin when it comes to price and security, the price of ethereum is continuously rising and the rumor is the price of ethereum will be tripled this year, so wait for it guys, and I know bitcoin's price will rise up too.

Yes I think so, because it is soon number two because now the price of eth is higher and become higher but not defeat btc. Ethereum is next to BTC?
In my opinion Ethereum have the potential to become next to BTC , because it is growing up fastly, it have very good value and potential, and also it is expected to rise highly in the few coming months and years with the increasing of the ICO projects, since its demand will become very high.
Alot of alt coins are now being offered in this cyrpto community and one of it is the etherium. Aside from Bitcoin, it is one of the most talked about crypto currency maybe because it offers almost the same things which Bitcoin offers. I think i. the future yes it has the potential to be the next in crypto currencies but not that soon for I think Bitcoin will still be dominant for a long period of time.

It has a possible that ethereum was rising up more this year because some ICO's project are using ethereum now as a payment to purchased the investor in their token. So, more demand of ethereum and it is the more expensive to buy.
I will support your motion going by what I have seen and heard. After Bitcoin comes ETH though the two differs in a wide range but despite this differences if one don't want to go for bitcoin the next reasonable coin so far to go for is ETH.

Ethereum smart contracts are a very useful technology that will help many companies on raising funds needed for each project in the future, and that is what makes Ethereum so special and different from Bitcoin, investing into Ethereum now will surely be a wise decision in the long term.
With the sheer amount of big-scale, good projects currently running on the Ethereum blockchain it is only natural that Ethereum will overtake Bitcoin in terms of market share and, who knows, perhaps even coin price eventually.
