I am prefer to choose ETH for long term insvestment. ETH is one of the best choice after Bitcoin and so far its profitable investment for me. I have never invested in LTC and have never been interested in this coin.
If you have never really cared and invested in litecoin, you should start to care and be willing to invest in it now because if eth is just a potential coin and just behind bitcoin, litecoin will be spoken as a close brother of bitcoin, it has existed in parallel with Bitcoin in a very long time, the position of litecoin before the community is very solid. Especially in recent times, the development and recovery of litecoin has started again, investing in litecoin in the long term will have the opportunity to receive many benefits, eth seems to have a slow return, waiting to take longer than litecoin

if I were you, of course I would use mathematical calculations well, first seeing the capital I had, if I had $ 5000 or more, I would of course choose the altcoin price of the two cheaper, if ETH is cheaper than LTC, I would choose ETH, but if the LTC is cheaper than the current ETH price, I would choose LTC, this obviously getting more than coin units would make more profit
eth and ltc together have good potential, I prefer to invest a lot in long term eth. For LTC I only allocate 20% to be used as an investment and for the short term.
The thread has got created by the year 2017, even to the present market situation it gets related. Whether it is long term or short term investing on ethereum and Litecoin will assure the profit. For the present year both were under hard expectation for varied reason. Litecoin is predicted of growth based on halving, while ethereum is predicted to start moving from November on based on its scheduled 2.0 launch for January 2020.

I am currently still confident and trusting with ETH for long-term investment because in my opinion, confidence and patience are the most important capital of long-term investment with any coin

I also do same thing as you and I've also benefited from ETH and BTC, I've never invested in LTC at all, I also advise people to prefer ETH as a long-term investment 
LTC and Eth might be bullish once bitcoin cross 10,000$ , if market stable then ETH must rise toward to 400$ ,

I prefer to invest ethereum because there are so many uses to trade transactions and follow campaign bounties, but LITECOIN is also a good investment for the future, if the conclusion of the two coins has a very good advantage.
Litecoin halving will boost the price of LTC for a short time frame, ETH is more reliable as a long term investment. The prices are manipulated hard but the bounty campaigns have no relation to the prices of top cryptos.

Store more ETH inside your wallet and hold until it reaches your target profits, inside this investment venue nothing is certain only surprise is yet to expect, when bitcoin creat new big jump this coin will follow and get a good lift so better to aim for long term investment so you'll be able to catch the high valuation.
yes if you know, top holder from bitcoin, you are never see their fund are reduced

LTC is taking its momentum right now, so the best Altcoins to hold as of this moment is no doubt I will go on LTC. there will be offcourse another uptrend for ETH but its LTC moment right now. If we have a means to invest on LTC its better for you to go andbuy some so that you can ride on its trend this coming months.
Actually it is good suggestion. More focus on ETH, and LTC is something that to be short-mid term investment and make our profit to invest in ETH. Because with that, our profit can be expanded and we can get more profit with it.
it will work only if etheruem does not grow quickly. if ethereum growth is still slow as it is now it is possible for us to do it. all depends on the etheruem and LTC markets in the next few weeks.
