nice, Both are promising coins and has strong market cap and community around the globe. Only those people benefit a lot who buy at low rate hold it for some time and then sell it when price is high. Back & forth is the common feature in Crypto world 
I would invest in ETH. It seems to me that this coin is much more promising and more interesting than LTC. I have been investing in ETH for a long time and this coin brings me a good profit.
For me, both coins have a big potential and these two are very good coins but for me when investing in long term I will choose ethereum because I see bigger potential in this coin rather than litecoin.
I dont think LTC will replace bitcoin. But in coming LTC off a lower base and has much faster capability than bitcoin. If you have coins hold on to them.

i know that now eth is super useful and on its blockchain are thousands of tokens, but i dont know pretty much about litecoin, is there is some use of it except of holding and trading? if someone knows please share this info for me, cause i just see that litecoin is like bitcoins little brother and thats only what it is, imho ofc
I definitely think that ETH will make very good returns in the long run. it seems that the majority, which makes sense because almost every progeny that comes out on the market is building the infrastructure eth.
I believe in a successful future of the ethereum because this coin strengthens the market and forms a trend, therefore in the future eth will only be strengthened
both ETC and LTC are good coins but to answer your question according to me,for my opinion etherium for me is one of the best ones since it has an effective and stable condition and also the most powerful reason is of course its stability and the reason that it is one of the first coins that means it is more long term ...
eth is much better for long term investment than ltc, ltc is an old crypto that already passed its prime, and its already time for ethereum, we all know that it is better than ltc.

litecoin is a coin that grows rapidly in the crypto-currency market and is popular. but for me, the potential is not high. Ethereum is a very strong coin and will increase in value in the future. very suitable for long-term investment
I also go for ETH because it is stable and most of the ICOs using this network for their smart contracts so it is tested for fast transactions, I also have a lot of token in ETH network too

Actually both coins have their own status and both and good , but it we have to select one i will go with ETH because i think it has a more potential then LTC. and ETH is good for long term too.
