Most of the ICO is conducted on the basis of the Etherium. Consequently, investors are increasingly buying ETH. These actions contribute to the volume of trading on exchanges and the growth of the rate of the Etherium. But I did not notice the same Lightcoin that I would participate in ICO.
I would prefer to pick ethereum as my long term investment because ethereum are more promising, they provide platform and trade in the most exchanges.
Ethereum and Litecoin I think both are good coints, but I personally prefer to ethereum because it has a higher selling value than litecoint, I hope for the future both coints are good for investment
I believe that both these coins have already given their main growth. And they will not give the big% of profit in the future. But personally, I'm holding ETH in my portfolio, since I've been buying it for a long time. But I use LTC only for exchange or transfer between exchanges.
Both are not a problem for the long term but what about 60% for ETH and 40% LTC? I think the potential is greater in ETH because the ETH market capitalization is much more lead
If you invest long time, I still appreciate ethereum than litecoin. Ethereum is the crypto platform so the momentum of development is still continuing. Litecoin I see it is just a copy of bitcoin, the advantage is that the transaction is fast and cheap.

Ethereum better. Litecoin does not have a future. It was created as a more modified bitcoin version. I think that in the future this coin will simply leave the market. And her qualities will pass to bitcoin

Don't judge coin based on price. Some coin are undervalued now. If you look at most of ICO then you will see that most of them are use Ethereum platform for their token. It will makes the demand of ETH increased because we need ETH to send token to exchange site. Based on this I conclude that ETH has very good future. 
In the long term, I choose the ethereum because this coin has great potential and growth in the future so you need to invest now

Both COINS may be beneficial in the long run, but everyone is very different, but I think the ETH has greater potential because most ICO USES the ethereum chain to give tokens.
Brand new to the cryptocurrency market. Currently I hold a decent amount of LTC. It's value has gone up nicely since I purchased it. I've read all the predictions for LTC in 2018 and 2019. It sounds promising as a long term hold...which is what I'm more comfortable doing...to reach $200 -$300 a coin. I like the fact that there is a team in place trying hard to ensure it's future. Charlie Lee may not be the most charismatic spokesman publicly but he's out there doing it which gives me confidence in his product. Now, it's obvious that ETH is not going anywhere. My question for the board is which outperforms the other in the next 5 years? I tend to invest heavily in the direction that has the bigger upside. Perhaps I should split my investing 50/50 regarding ETH and LTC? What say the more experienced cryptocurrency gurus?
I have nothing against BTC. I don't see it going anywhere. It is the giant. However, I feel the current price point is too high for my liking.

I preferred to LTC has a bright future and still stable coin. That doesn't mean i don't like ETH. But if you want to invest in long-term make the high percentage for LTC 3:1
I prefer Eth for a long term investment other than LTC I believe in ETH because i know that this coin has a potential in the future

Of course, it's better to invest in ETH for a longer term than LTC. And the price of ETH will grow faster than LTC. I see no reason to invest in LTC.
I would go with Ethereum over LTC, for the longer run both the coins look promising but if I want to choose one coin means that could be ethereum no doubt about that because ethereum gives more profit as the price is high and also price increases more than the LTC.
