Its long time ago asked question still if your looking ot convert your ether there is better option then ether . NEO still trading in low price and lots of succesful project coming comparing to Waves platform . EOS mainet going to release. Tron Trx going to release testnet .
If am to advice you, I would say, hold 50 percent etherum and use the remaining 50% to buy waves and NEO and hold these coins for the long term. Its always good to diversify your portfolio as some of the coins in your portfolio could do wonders.
I think maintaining eth would be more profitable, although at the beginning of this year the price is declining, but I'm sure it will rise again.

i think it is good to buy ethereum than waves. the price of ethereum faster go up than waves. and also because ethereum is the best altcoin. ethereum has more supporter than waves. and i see in this thread many people suggest you to buy ethereum than waves its means peple more interested with ethereum than waves. and i think it is good to buy ethereum.

Both of it is a good platform. Waves have claimed that their platform faster than Ethereum. But so far, I mostly used Ethereum platform instead of Waves.
Most ICO these days using Ethereum. That's why Waves not so popular.
I prefer to keep holding ETH. ETH has been bringing forth a lot of buzz in the market. Waves is also one of the better altcoins, but if I would compare the two, I would side with ETH. In my opinion, ethereum is the most stable crypto currency and most promising alt at this year

I would definitely say ETH. It is firmly established in the marketplace, and has plenty of room to grow. There is a reasonable chance that it could overtake bitcoin in market cap.
I would not buy an etherium right now. It has been cheaper for 2 months and there are no prerequisites for rise. I think that this coin will soon leave the TOP-10.

At the moments, i clearly prefer Ethereum. It has a real geniues Blockchain plattform, and they are so many good proejcts who are created on this plattform. Many project on the ethereum plattform ahs real use cases. And in future, many seriouse companys will start working with it. But do not underestimate Waves. Its also a good Blockchain Plattform, it just need to be more famous. When the people are starting to using waves plattform more and more, it could be really dangerous for ethereum.

if you get confused, sell half of all your ETH to buy Waves, because I'm sure Waves will be great for years to come.

you should use eth to buy other coins that will benefit you, it will greatly increase your eth coins if you benefit. if you just want to stick with eth coins, you have to be patient to wait for eth stable price, I am sure the eth will return stable again. but very unfortunate if you do not take advantage of your eth balance to invest another coin if you dare to trade, although it could be we get the loss and also profit. but if you think carefully, then you can get more eth than your current balance now.
As always, ETH is the best. it's time to buy it. If the investor is a little brave and makes a purchase, everything can change. you can win good money. 
ETH is a good coin that is good for holding for a long time as its value will rise overtime, waves too have a good project that is worth investing in, its currently cheaply available and id advise you to buy, as it will grow with time too.
