In my opinion there should be no discussion. Of course this is Ethereum, this is already a huge network with large partners and huge capitalization. A Waves is an ordinary exchange with small volumes, and the coin did not really grow.

It's already been a long time since ETH have seated in the 2nd position of of cryptoworld with highest market cap.

Indeed. That is why you want to hold ETH and accumulate Waves

ETH will also edge Waves since almost crypto exchange has a pairing of altcoins to ETH.

WavesDEX will make that statement look a bit old-fashioned in the years to come.

with Deloitte and Gazprombank coming in as partners

That's Waves - Deloitte and Gazprombank are long time partners. Agree that Eth is for holding but the potential for growth is Waves.

ETH is far more better than waves in my opinion,
ETH will be more promising than waves, Waves's price is not quite stable for now

Stability and liquidity are the things that make me choose ETH over WAVES. It's already been a long time since ETH have seated in the 2nd position of of cryptoworld with highest market cap. ETH will also edge Waves since almost crypto exchange has a pairing of altcoins to ETH.

waves is a good choice, but is it necessary to put it all into waves. so I suggest to divide in both, because ethereum is also a good choice and will benefit you. getting both is a good choice.

Id go for ETH.the potential is great and it has shown good performance in the market, chances that its price swill shoot with time is high. with Deloitte and Gazprombank coming in as partners, Waves is a coin to watch closely as it may soon enter the top 10 list. The fact that it can be leased in Lite Client and make profit while increasing the stack by holding the coin makes it very attractive to investors. this is along term coin that will not disappoint.

My top choice as always is ethereum as this has really the promising coin which good for the long term price could go up higher. Even we still invest in ethereum these days surely we can have profit on ethereum.

I hold both.

However for potential growth Waves has a hell of a lot going for it;

  • Fastest decentralised and open blockchain in the World.
  • Like Eth, written from scratch, mature and stable
  • Lot's of ICOs previously, happening right now and in pipeline (Not as many as ETH, yet though)
  • World first fully legally compliant ICO (Canada)
  • Swiss based, but offices worldwide and HQ in Moscow which is a super crypto-tech hub
  • Cheap transactions
  • Smart contracts coming in a couple of months - potential will rocket
  • World-class Consumer Grade UI

So the answer to this thread is; Hold both but expect the massive growth from the Waves side.

I have 3 ETH and i want to buy some Waves and hold it for long time. Which will be the best option? Buying Waves or Hold ETH!
buying ethrium is the good option because waves is not so popular so you might waste your time there and there is a good advantages in choosing etherium it is easy to increase everyday

ETH as for me is the real deal. Am not trying to humiliate waves with this, but virtually everyone following the development of Blockchain Technology would know that ETH is the next big thing after Btc. I will rather advise you hodl ETH. However, if you can buy waves also, I think its a very good move as the coin also  some good speculations  and predictions concerning blossoming this 2018.

Waves is a project that has great potential but has yet to demonstrate much. ETH, by now, is a very solid project and that in the near future could overcome Bitcoin, so I would keep ETH

both support ICOs, you can convert 1 eth and buy some waves since they are abit cheaper. the other two eth you can hold together with waves . that way you will be betting on both sides. you will definitely win big since eth looks very promising

Waves have high level promises it makes my head burn (not kidding) Becoming fastest chain in the market will change lot of things if they can achieve.  Waves is really underrated coin right now for sure.

So do you choose waves? It does not matter for me if anybody choose waves or etherium because its the same for me.
They both have very high potential so i dont want to choose one of them because i choose both.

The best option is a diversification of the purse. As well as someone it was offered earlier divide equally, you keep a part in ETH, and the rest in Waves.
You're right there, when we have plan to invest makes it to spread your investment. Both are profitable in the long run, eth and waves they have different used but it can makes us to earned profit.

I think it depends on you. What do you want. If you want to make an investment for long periods then Waves is a good decision. Because it will increase in 6 months or 1 year.
But ETH is a good coin in the current market . Which will increase within 1 month or 2 months.

Based on my experience definitely the answer is a no brainer. I would go for ETH since this has much better technology and popularity than waves. Waves has encountered issues before specially on their website. And pending upgrades on the waves platform are still pending for a long time now.

I think the Etherium at the moment looks much more preferable than the Waves, the Etherium is now on the rise, most ICO are released on its platform.
