Because Ethereum is one of the great coin and Ethereum is so usable, it uses to be the gas, or fee in some exchange. It becomes popular because the price of Ethereum in the past is only $1 and now the price of Ethereum gets $1000 and down to $100+

This is not a logical statement. according to your logic, people should not buy ethereum but they have to buy some currencies that are not in the top 100. you can earn much more on shitcoins
