ETH is so popular that people hold it too much and they sell a lot as the price of ETH drops. There are many reasons besides Bitcoin. So we will continue to analyze ETH in the near future and buying ETH is always a priority after Bitcoin i think.

Etheruem is really popular because of its platform making the most convinient transaction. The smart contract they proposed really helps crypto community makes the transsction easy and quite hassle. Not necessarily for one to surge another has to fail, ethereum has the fame it has now, simply because it is a good coin, in this ecosystem were missing coins that used the blockchain for more than transfers and ETH provides a very reliable platform to develop any number of dapps available.

As I think, there are many reasons why people are proned to choose ethereum. First up, it is such fantastic blockchain technology, anyway almost all people are extremely satisfied with its smart contracts. Next, Eth is kind of affordable for us to buy because compare with bitcoin, eth is much cheaper. In a nutshell, eth is more likely to become more developed in the future, it really attracts attention of many people.

It's really popular but I think you were wrong in your example. When bitcoin drops, all investors always sell USDT to stabilize the price.
