If Bitcoin are the king of cryptocurrency i would like to call ethereum is the queen of cryptocurrency. ETH is become more popular because there are so many ICO project using ethereum blockchain which is they will use erc20 token that are ethereum based. This community become more famous everyday. If the community and user are becoming bigger everyday the price of ethereum will increased too.
ETH is used for converting, as well as for transferring between your wallets, so it is always necessary therefore and such volumes of sales and purchases
ethereum became popular because ethereum itself has a smart contract compared to bitcoin. many projects use it for their project platforms so that ethereum becomes popular. but in terms of price, I think bitcoin is the answer. Both coins are potential but if you sell bitcoin to buy more ethereum, I think that is a wrong decision. because bitcoin is the best coin from another coin if we look at it year after year always shows its value so buying more bitcoin is the right decision and buying some ethereum is also a good step.

Can you tell why eth price is dropping while btc is in a constant motion? Do you think people are stress in btc? I don't think they are because if we base from the performance of these two coins, it is obvious that btc is performing better than eth so in my point of view, you are wrong that eth is more popular than btc.

I dont agree with you as ethereum price has come down more drastically than that of bitcoins...people are not selling bitcoin to buy ethereum or any other altcoins...the case is just opposite to that....as you can see btc dominance is increasing much more in coinmarketcap I think people are too stress with BTC decreasing, then they sell BTC out to buy more ETh.
How can anyone not know about ETH if it's the cryptocurrency next to bitcoin as far as market capitalization and use case is concern? From newly opened token sale to newly listed cryptos, almost all of them are patterned in the ERC-20 token standard of Ethereum blockchain.
I think this case is the same. bitcoin down precisely the ethereum also getting down. This doesn't make a lot of investors switching to ethereum but instead, perhaps a lot is a little worried about the result because the ethereum not so good some time lately.

As usual ETH is one big crypto now though its supply is bigger than BTC but i think one day that the ETH will going to surpass BTC since most of the altcoin in the market are ERC20 platform base which made me think that ETH will be higher in terms of its sales because this is an exchange to those altcoins. Popular? I don't think that it is so popular now as it was in 2017. Especially for miners who bought their rigs when the price was 1300-1600-2000 and who was expecting they will recoup their investment in few months.

Etherum is very popular because of its use case and because of its fundamentals, the use case, etc. This has made investors to trade on this coin and this has been a popular coin on coinmarketcap. But I still think that bitcoin is far more popular than etherum. Bitcoin has thr first mover advantage as its the first cryptocurrency and every body makes emphasis on bitcoin

I don't think this is necessary. Although ETH is very good, the market still has to follow the price of BTC to determine the direction. Only BTC can do this, and ETH obviously has not had such a big influence. But I have already purchased 200 ETH a few days ago. I like Ethereum and hope it doesn't let me down. And for that, every day a lot of ICO and Cryptocurrency based project are coming. And most of them are ERC20 based. And Ethereum support ERC20. That's why people want to use Ethereum.
