most ICOs use eth blockchain that is why it is popular. if you really see the market bitcoin is not the only one that is decreasing but all of the altcoins. if you say people are stress with bitcoin then they are stress with ethereum too.
Yes, it's true that ethereum is currently popular and this coin has great potential so in my opinion ethereum is the best altcoin to have, and I believe its growth is also good so I hope ethereum prices will rise even higher at the end of the year.

No its really wrong if you said it like that, Bitcoin is the most famous coins so i dont think they are stress cause bitcoin price decreasing, Its really wrong to said that eth is good option than bitcoin cause after all when bitcoin is down eth will going down too. Both are good coins with different way to grow. Ethereum became popular cause in 2017 there so much new coins and new ico that use ethereum for erc20 as their blockchain base. My experience tells me that Ethereum tracks the movements in Bitcoin pretty much step for step, the only difference being the size of the movements in percentage terms. Ethereum also benefits from being the major currency for ICO participation so there will be better demand when popular sales are taking place.
Yeah ETH is pretty popular. In fact, for most of the airdrops and bounty program that I participated before, they are based on ETH. Not sure whether it is a good thing or bad thing though, because now ETH price has dropped so much, my coin value also shrink a lot. Hopefully it can recover soon.

The reason that Ethereum is so popular doesn't like as you said. That is by many platform is being based on ETH's platform and it is free to run on it and this is a coins that people beleive, just behind Bitcoin
As of today I think the stress was too much on ethereum as it drops heavily to the bottom if it is, around 280$ something which was the smallest value I have seen for about a year. Cryptocurrency had so much for now maybe its time to go up again soon. Bitcoin was a bit better as of now. I just hope it can climb high enough to regain its previous all time high.
I am sure, etherum one of the best coins that ever existed after the emergence of BTC, they both have tremendous potential to grow and become number one on the market.
