the same thing will not be possible. it might take a very long time to rebuild the market as it was in 2017. the market will grow again, but to build the same market I think that is already impossible. there will be a new market, with new growth, we must be patient to wait for it. too fast to see ethereum grow in a short time.

I think this is quite possible because Ethereum attracts a lot of attention and it is very popular but not in January because The hard Fork was postponed due to critical vulnerability. So we are waiting for official news from Vitalik.

what is clear is that eth prices can break 200 in February, which is something very good, which in my opinion will not happen for several months. so don't have to dream that prices will touch 800 dollars in the near future.

Would mean a big improvement if the price will rise that big, but how about bitcoin on that time, we know it's not gonna happen without btc coordination. Market is big but bitcoin still controls the majority of the shares, so it needs to more in an uptrend way in order for ETH to easily achieve that value.
$250 seems easy since we reach that before already, but like I pointed out above, how would bitcoin needs to react or move?

I don't think this will happen easily. we know that Hardfork won't make ETH prices so high for this month. well, the most probable speculation is when ETH prices are above $ 250. but I hope that the rest of the day before February the price of ETH can be even higher.

If that's by choice then I agree with you, but we don't have any capability to predict what will happen after, we are all in a speculating period and we are just waiting for the next trend, many are still positive and hoping that even delayed happen with the upcoming forks there's still hope that the value will grow, the question still is when will it happen, pressure between big holders who can easily short and change the momentum are the big hindrance for ETH to rise high again.

Of course its pretty obvious that we can't even go and break $200 at this point. There this argument is totally useless. Yes this is just a prediction but we should be somewhat realistic as well. So calling $800 is way too much, let's put $200 first and see if we're going to break it this January (we still have a couple of weeks to do it).

It was not even worth hoping for such a growth, and after the next correction, all the doubts disappeared. Maybe the end of the first quarter.

Cross fingers dude. A lot of eth were taken by hackers during the cryptopia hack and the price of eth now stands around 125usd the last time i checked. You're delusional if you think it would even go beyond 500 usd this january.

Binance has been freezing some funds were sending by the hacker but dunno about what will do by another exchange because the hacker has started to laundering his money through send it in the various address of exchange site.

I really doubt 800$ is attainable in the market spectrum i mean just look at the way things are really staggered and everything is so not in place I think we might probably expect a price between 300 - 400$ least but targeting 800 is way too much for the price you are calling

Well, fork was postponed and now I don't even know what to expect.
As for me there is a small chance to be pumped in short term. Too many negative news and crypto is under pressure.
I believe we need more time for recovery, like 6-9 month. But 800$ is a target for 2 years
