Which do you think is better and why?
I think that ETH is better. This is a very promising coin. But NEO is also a good coin. I would divide the investment 70 \ 30.

I think ETH's team is stronger then NEO's so I see more potential to improve the technology (make it faster) for Vitalik's team. Capser will rise up the price in near future and can make ETH no1 on CMC.
Here it is very difficult to make a choice since both platforms are developed and give have huge support of people. I think if you want to invest, you can keep your own and at that and another coin.
I chosen eth because now there many coin use smart contact of eth,it is more popular,i think eth can replace btc in the future
they are both great coin and has a great potential to be a future altcoin. But ETH is more preferable by many people.So i think ETH is better than NEO... 
It better ethereum than NEO at the moment because its more popular and known as ERC20 token platform to provide ICO token. And ICO are in the monstrous development now.
Both are best choices, and if you want to compare it with eth will keep on above neo for few years next. Neo just started to catch up with keep on work together with some big companies. And it will makes neo more valuable someday.

NEO is better than ehtereum because of the below reason
1) Still price is cheap instead of buying one etheeum you can buy 9 NEO for the current price
2) NEO works based on POS so the holder of NEO will get free gas every month . Even exchanges like binance giving dividend every month
3) Lots of chinese investors interested on NEO based project
4) Ontology and Pikciochain are most successful project and ICO in recent time . These projevcts using NEO blockchain technology.

Ethereum as well as NEO both are widely accepted smart contract creation platform . Ethereum still ruling the market in terms of adopting new project . Smae goes to NEO there is lots of Chinese based investors interested on NEO . But ultimately NEO give GAS for token holders but ETH not.
Both Ethereum(ETH) and NEO are good because both of them have their own unique Blockchains technologies. Ethereum is however quite distinct from NEO because ETH is forkable while NEO is not.

Ethereum remains the best if compared with NEO at the moment. They are already widely known for token platform and almost all of ICO use them, it hard for NEO to reach eth position.
I prefer choose ETH , because ETH already available in my favorite exchanger with high prices while NEO not available .But i think NEO have a great price in future. So if NEO available in my favorite exchanger maybe i will choose NEO to
In my opinion, Ethereum is one of the first coins, stable platform, accepted in the online market, and prices continue to rise. And while NEO is a better coin in the future, but there is no doubt the issue of decentralization in their platform. but Etherum still outperformed the number of daily transactions. This shows that Etherum is much better than Neo.
Both are good and for now the best is ethereum which used most by ICO and token. It will be very hard to beat ethereum since they more friendly and popular in ICO.
I think Eth is a good choice. It's the first crytpcurrency you should think of when talking about smart contracts.

between Ethereum and Neo, I think the best today is Ethereum,the development of Ethereum is getting better and now many projects are using it, Neo is also good but now is still less competitiveness with Ethereum.
In my analysis, both are very good coins, for long-term investment. I see both of them has huge potential in the market but due to market sudden growth, they are in a market correction. So future for both of these coins will give good returns to the investors.
