NEO is still an idea in the ecosystem. It's not providing that big platform. While ethereum is the more famous and more old platform. A large number of coins have been created on the basis of Ethereum. But I am not saying that NEO is a shitcoin, it is a good project, with good team with perfect blockchain.
ETH of course. Neo in last time stay on one place. No news, no updates. Buterin work very hard, and regular update ETH and most project start on ETH platform. But i hold both 
Which do you think is better and why?
I think eth is solid but I also think the neo has lots of room for growth. Can't go wrong with either.
I think Etherium more potential than Neo, but Neo for speculation is well suited.

both coins are very good and have a bright future between neo and eth. but if i am in choose choose i will choose eth because eth is altcoin the closest to equal bitcoin. besides now many projects are using eth and more crypto trust eth.
for myself I prefer Ethereum because Ethereum is a pretty good coin of Ethereum's perks quite quickly from last year will probably continue to emerge in the coming year.
NEO looks dangerous to me. Cause usually everything what Chinese government supports is artful and world dominating.
NEO always grows slow and steady. All in for more growth potential and gas generation. Buy half for less risk and diversification.
Both coins are very promising, but we must realize the fact that these coins will go up only if ICOs is not banned. At the moment the situation is incomprehensible and many countries have expressed doubts about ICO.
Ethereum and neo is a really popular altcoins, and many people here in crypto is trusting both ethereum and neo, but i still believe that ethereum is still more better than neo, because ethereum is the only one altcoin that has a chance to rise it's value like bitcoin. 
NEO is better than ehtereum because of the below reason
1) Still price is cheap instead of buying one etheeum you can buy 9 NEO for the current price
2) NEO works based on POS so the holder of NEO will get free gas every month . Even exchanges like binance giving dividend every month
3) Lots of chinese investors interested on NEO based project
4) Ontology and Pikciochain are most successful project and ICO in recent time . These projevcts using NEO blockchain technology.
On the ETH, many more successful projects have been working for a long time now than on NEO. I will mention only two obvious advantages of the ETH, which are enough for me to choose ETH. It is more decentralized and its network is safer. It was time to wait for the transition to POS 1) Still price is cheap instead of buying one etheeum you can buy 9 NEO for the current price

I think ETH is the best. Because it has great future
I think that it is NEO. Transaction processing speed is different. If it is 1 NEO unit, there will be no remittance charge. NEOGas is also valid for holders. However, there are potential bugs in Wallet. This is also constantly investigating NEOTracker. NEO will further expand if this is resolved. Also, if you can remit decimal points instead of 1 NEO unit, the holder expands. 
I think that both coins are very promising, but NEO still leads in this pair. I am sure that this coin will reach TOP 3 already by summer.

Ethereum is constantly working on improvements in spite of their mass adoption especially by ICOs for the purpose of smart contract, while NEO has such capabilities too and potential, the policy of Chinese government as it stands today may limit its growth indirectly. The foregoing may true so for NEO cos a stiffled crypto space in China will lead to less ICOs if there are and I believe Chinese ICOs are more likely to use NEO than ETH if there is a level playing field.
I think both coins are good. It is better to divide the investment between ETH and NEO. Or invest 70% and 30%.
I can't exactly answer that question, but it seems to me that it is better to have both now and then, after all, gives both perspectives
I really like NEO, I'm sure that in 2-3 years NEO will take the place of the Etherium. There are already several projects that carry out their ICO on it.

I think Ethereum would be a solid pick when it comes to being the first mover and it has already proven it's spot in the crypto space, Neo on the other hand is new and could give better games in short period of time although it still needs to prove itself. Only time will tell which is better betweeen the two that is why if you could buy both that would be better. Maybe 60% ethereum and 40% Neo for stability of your portfolio.
