If ETH will go back to 1 USD then all of ethereum based project will also fail but it is almost impossible because people put a lot of money on ICO and Ethereum.

The ETH is primarily a platform on which ico is conducted. The foundation of many altcoins is the etherium. that he would sink to $ 1 I do not know what should happen. bitcoin should come to $ 100 then

Once it happened it's the end of ETH . It's not possible for me because ETH has it's own asset as it used by many ICO's as well .

This is very unpredictable of the prediction for the ETH. Maybe come $100 but it will never come to $1. This crashes is just a cycle of the market after the bull market. So, don't be panic or let other also.

then the chance of 1000x gain again? If ethereum will really go back to $1, that would be a big gain not loss for most people because you can buy 1000 ethereum for $1000. But no one can predict it.

I have money around $5k now, if its really coming back to $1 again so i am sure i will buy again.
The chance to be 1000x again is big open. I will be happy if that scenario happen this year.

In my opinion in this year this is impossible. Maybe in some year Ethereum gonna be 1$ or less when crypto dies

Come on guys its impossible. The value is the only coin ripple that can fall to one dollar Cheesy
Ethereum will go to 1000 dollars. If it drops to 1 dollar, it means that all the crypto money has come to an end

It's just a nonsense thread. There is absolutely no reason given as to why ETH should fall to $1, other than that some unrelated companies were overvalued.

This is the most unthinkable FUD ever created, do you think Vitalik Buterin would do that to drop down on that level? You may think it was, but it doesn't.

i dont believe that. ETH is one of the most important coin in the world and its technology is also important for the development of ICO projects. It can not die.

I very much doubt that ETH will fall to the value of $ 1 this year! Yes,the crypto currency market is now going through hard times, but ETH is a very promising coin, and do not worry about its drawdown to such a low level!

The crash can't be all that sudden, if you say Ethereum will go back to $1 what will you say of all projects listed on the platform, what will happen to them. I can tell you if the price fell that low most of the tokens on it will go to zero. Ethereum is one of the few project in the space doing right things

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dot-com_bubble#Companies_significant_to_the_bubble

Lycos - Purchased by Terra Networks for $12.5 billion in 2000.[44] It was sold in 2004 to Seoul, South Korea-based Daum Communications Corporation for $95.4 million.[45]

Tiscali - Italian telecommunications company whose share price rose from €46 upon its IPO in November 1999 to €1,197 in four months. The share price then fell to €40 in less than two months and eventually fell to €0.20.

Think Tools AG - One of the most extreme symptoms of the bubble in Europe, this company reached a market valuation of CHF 2.5 billion in March 2000 despite no prospects of having a product.

The Learning Company - Bought by Mattel in 1999 for $3.5 billion; sold for $27.3 million in 2000.[43]

.....

the problem? some coins are just way overvalued now. they have small teams, no earnings, often no real use or product, yet they are worth billions in market cap. many of the big players in crypto will go bankrupt if people keep pushing them......

the only way we can save crypto is if we evaluate companies realistically. if we buy into new, cheap, promising projects. not into the bubble coins that are extremely high.

Please send PM for me when this is happening (ETH = $1). I am ready to buy them.

i think Ethereum will not go down that deep, why?? because this is crypto currency where the coin price is really based on the market, so if no one in the market willing to sell their coin cheap, the coin price will never go down. crypto currency is so much difference with stock exchange market because in crypto it is all depend on the supply and demand of a coin while stock there is a company and it's profile that will decide their worth in the market.

Are you kidding or just blindly stupid?
ETH has working product, which is Etherum platform, and it facilitates so many ICO, with many more working product.
I know that some of the ICO are a crap, but that doesn't mean all ICO are scam, if business still interested in doing ICO, then ETH price will keep raising. And now ETH is forming correction, which is good,

it is trolling. if ethereum goes back to 1 usd, this means that something is wrong with blockchain technology so in this case not only ethereum but all of the cryptocurrencies goes below 1 usd. Otherwise it is really really impossible for ethereum to go back around these prices.

I also think that at the moment all the crypts is overrated. But this is investor's vision of the future. Some projects will realize and bring profit. Ether refers to such projects. And $1 per ETH is already unavailable.
I also believe than most of the crypto coins do not have the potential to survive for long and some are also scams as per the comments of few people in google articles.  But if we consider Ethereum, then it would be unfair to count it in among those weaklings that cannot live for long. Ethereum has remained the king of altcoins from the start and still it has a larger community than any other crypto currency after bitcoin. It will sure show progress in coming days.

DotCom Bubble peak = 3 trillion $ peak;     Place  = 1 country.USA
Crypto                      =  813 billion $ peak; Plase  = The World

+

The dot com bubble was not a money loose at all, Check stocks value from Amazon, ebay, etc..

+

The nature of most crypto projects is decentralized, they are coded and manteined mostly by communities...other mantained by teams where funded by ICO or premines.. what means the team already have the funds to move on with the project. Is not something you shut down cause the price drops, most starts-ups including Tesla, Uber, etc are totally profit-less today and stock dependent... Monero, Bitcoin, Ethereum, etc.. they don´t depend on any profitability...
