You are only talking about the failed projects. What about the successful projects like Amazon, Google, Facebook, Windows, etc? There are always two sides to a coin. If you are talking about the failed projects than you need to also account for the successful ones in your analogy.

You comparing a fiat company to a crypto which has support and unlimited resources to keep its price high enough unlike these companies with all sorts of taxes and regulations they need to abide to that stop them from expanding or later forced to close up. My conclusion A dollar for eth wont happen
That is too much to go down to that price. This is cryptocurrency not the traditional company that being compared by the OP. Ethereum is getting his popularity as this is the mostly use technology in ICOs. The ERC20 platform is now popular. I'm hoping that the value of Ethereum will go higher to $5K in the coming years.
