EtherDelta! Dear forum participants, what do you think about how to continue working, because there is no alternative to this exchange yet, and it is not possible to trade safely any more. What alternative can you offer?
Etherdelta has been prone to hacks and attacks.
Thankfully we have alternatives to it now. Forkdelta and even IDEX are some good options in place of Etherdelta. Now we do have lots of Decentralized exchanges working perfectly and have a good team behind it.

Im almost certain that there is a ton of trading site like etherdelta you simply need to google them (Cryptocurrency trade destinations). In the event that you are stressed over etherdelta being hacked, you dont need to stress on the off chance that you dont sign in to it. The hacking begins just when the programmers approach your private key yet to be straightforward, being hacked is in the clients blame since you have your benefit in you wallet, you ought to be exceptionally carefull with them. Etherdelta posts declarations and cautioning on the landing page so know about those additionally I guidance that you ought to dependably check the url before signing in. On the off chance that you believe that the url transformed, you should stop since that site is hacked.

I don't like this lagging interface dex. Since IDEX came to the market I will never come back to the etherdelta. I will explain how idex works. They implemented an off Jain solution that doing math outside of the Ethereum blockchain and writes.the.result to Eth network. So, any deposits and withdrawals is writing to the blockchain, trading works on offchain solution.

Now most of the new tokens are traded on the IDEX exchange. IDEX is similar to EtherDelta, but only better a bit, although there are also a lot of tokens that I consider to be slag.

Ether delta is a very popular trading platform for ERC20 analog tokens. However, for beginners it will be difficult.
I would like to see the platform improved in the future to make it easier to use.

I personally do not like trading on etherdelta and its sister exchange- forkdelta, not because it's is a decentralised exchange but its is somehow complicated. I think Idex which is also a decentralised exchange is a better option and a better platform.

What I do with etherdelta is I have a seperate wallet for trading there so I can just transfer some few tokens that are not yet trading on centralised exchanges and sell off and I try to be extra careful when on the site inorder not to be a victim of getting hacked.

Last time, i opened Etherdelta in feburary 2018 and till then i never open it's link in my browser. The main reason is Etherdelta is no more safe! In january, many Etherdelta account holders saying, "they lost their coins"! Also i get news that Etherdelta is hacked and is no more safe. Today, i did not believe in it's security and never ever use Etherdelta. (It always feel me risky)

I have used etherdelta in the past and this time I was not caught, but it is really bad when a decentralised exchange that prides itself on giving keys to users gets hacked trough the backdoor.

I did not use EtherDelta, but used its clon TokenStore, and I can say that it is shitty as sometimes it looses transactions, so you loose tokens and crypto

Not using EtherDelta after the Team has abandoned the project and no development has been made recently.
Using IDEX instead  and very satisfied with it.

I think that you have exaggerated too much, because even bitkoyn did not rise to such stakes in 2018, but it's not the time yet. You most importantly believe in this and all will come true. Smiley Smiley Smiley

I remember when EtherDelta got hacked. My friend lost quite a lot of tokens in the process. But I think it is back and more secure now. Though with ForkDelta as a substitute. Many people don't trust EtherDelta after that hack anymore. They now prefer ForkDelta instead. When using any DEX I advise you make use of metamask to protect your private keys from hackers

I very rarely trade on the EtherDelta. But when the need arises, everything suits me. I'll use it sometimes.

If you mean keep your wallet linked to your ED web page, after linking it by typing in your private key...

It should be safe as long as your computer isn't compromised (infected/hacked/stolen.....)

In general, it is not safe to keep on any exchange long term. In this case, I would not store it on the linked wallet either. It costs very little in gas to transfer to a wallet that is never linked to any sites or exchanges, just to be extra safe.

No, it's not really safe to enter your private key on a website or use one generated by a website. There isn't really anything wrong with the wallet itself, it's just that the method of creating a wallet and how you use it opens up attack vectors. Etherdelta smart contract is safe, but as people found out last month, a DNS hack caused people to get redirected to a fake ED page where any private key they entered was then emptied of funds. You could also get phished by getting linked to a fake site from places like reddit (misspellings like etherdetla.com are common for this kind of scam) where again, they take your key.

Better to use Metamask or a Ledger Nano S.

Currently shipping alcoin at the trading floor is risky. Because there are so many hackers breaking in and stealing millions of dollars. So managing property is very important, do not believe in any trading floor
