ETH will not vanish, it's number 3 in the market now, just recently overtaken by XRP but with its big volume it will be back on 2.
Thinking of buying more at his moment, it has fallen already 10 times from ATH, so more chances to grow than to go down based on the average
and my own analysis of course.

Too hard to tell what will happen in the next couple of weeks. Better of checking other altcoins than waiting for Eth or Btc to gain again. Both are prime coins of cryptos. Though BTC runs the market.
Right now, in bear market price of each coin is falling. i would say you can invest in both coins because price is quite low. ETH is below $150 USD
i think investing in eth today would be beneficial but only in long run. If you are expecting satisfactory returns in short term then it won't work,

I think bitcoin is for the initial investment first, if it feels fulfilled and has little experience then other coins become the second priority after bitcoin. I'm sure almost everyone in the crypto world is like that. unless you really don't have capital and start with zero capital

Ethereum price is down now, I would rather invest in ethereum right now than bitcoin because bitcoin price is high now. If it were last year, I would have thought of investing in bitcoin but now investing in ethereum or other coins with potentials would get me more bitcoins when the market is stable because of the price now.

As for me , i think for what's been going on , i probably invest on ethereum i'm not saying that eth is better but sometimes you need to be wise and have a plans, and my second plan is that , i would diversify my investment, half for bitcoin half for ethereum. I probably recommend eth because as you can see it's launching different projects and also a good opportunity mostly for us newbies.
