Well, ethereum and ripple had been fighting over rank number for almost a month now. This is somehow good since both of them are forced to improve their services and system so that they can attract more investors and traders. This will also help boost the markwt demand of crypro.

that's right, and yesterday ethereum had won the ripple position before the news on the hardfork was published, but after the news spread somehow the position was back down until the competition to win the position of the best altcoins still heated up.

I think investor support is still for ethereum. I am sure there are still many people who hold their ethereum assets. this community is very large, and they provide strong support for ethereum. we are all sure that ethereum will be able to rise again on the throne.

True? This happened a few months ago, it seems you missed this moment.
As for me, in order to return the etririum, you only need to increase in price by 20% -30%, which is quite realizable even in the case of a speculative price pump.

I am very surprised that the ethereum gave up the second place, but I am sure that this is temporary and quite a bit of everything can change. There is an assumption that the coin is pulled to the bottom by a lot of unfulfilled projects, as well as projects that were conducted by fraudsters. But everything should change with time, when only those altcoins that are really needed and used will remain on the market.

It already did, in this period and the previous period, they are just the only currency, fighting for the number 2 position, Still they both are good and profitable but Ripple has more investors.

Since the beginning of this year, ETH has been showing a very good sign of coming back even though there are times we see it in red. I believe that it will spring a lot of surprises this year because it is a coin that has shown it's capabilities in the past. Also using it for ICOs has really help ETH. Let's hope for the best.

This fight between XRP and ETH seems won't ever end. The reason is that xrp isn't under pressure of ICOs.
That's how I see it. To my mind there are much more people using ethereum rather than XRP

I have this feeling that this thread will go on the whole 2019 or after Ethereum permanently get back the number two spot in the market, the majority of the people wants Ethereum to be in the number two spot but it needs a lot of work to get it done, we'll see after the coming fork.
