I don't consider eth as shitcoin as well. as compared to many blockchain projects, eth has strong development team aside from its well-known founder Vitalik Buterin. Eth platform has solid foundation to begin with and not just an ordinary blockchain project. they changed things in so many ways as there are countless projects that are using their network. and they are continuously developing their platform as we know there is coming Eth 2.0. By any means, I would not consider eth as shitcoin. it goes down just like many other alts, but the difference is, they are not abandoning their platform but rather continue developing it. Buterin will not let his project goes down for nothing. he already built reputation in the crypto community so I don't think he will stake his reputation for money.

Do you believe what he said? I doubt if ethereum will still come back so low. The one that happened last will be the end of such. Although, ethereum is prone to manipulations, however, which is also what we see happen to others. No matter how much it is manipulated, you will likely not see such price again.

I think it's not good to say etheteum a shit coin. Eventhough it's price decreases continously it would be still a high potential coin because of it's volume trading. Maybe ethereum would face a little bit problem, but it is not the reason to be called a shit coin.

Bear market affect all coins and one of the things which exists in a bear market is emotions or sentiment, thus during bear market at any slight negatively a token dumps more, but here is the interesting part; when the market start turning for good only the good altcoins appreciates in price while those who aren't dumps more. Now with this at hand, I don't agree that Ethereum is a shitcoin because it has never failed to bounce back once it dumps as a result of the market. If Ethereum is a shitcoin why is it still the number 2 in CMC? And why does it keeps maintaining that position against all odds? What about the other shitcoins which are dying off, how can they be classified? ETH is one of the best altcoins in this crypto space.

It will not and it's still traded above 200 and i think this is an old prediction that must not be discussed again. We just try to take the current price that already available in the market. We must be more realistic with the situation that is still happening in the cryptocurrency.

Whatever he said is his own view and not the view of everyone. If he calls ETH a shitcoin then what do we call the rest of altcoin? Probably he has a biased view about the ethereum and I do not think this is the first time we will be hearing such bad statement not even from someone who has an interest in blockchain project but someone that have invested time, energy and money. When you hear or read about such statement, you should consider it as a propangada directed toward a targeted coin.

If Bitcoin goes down to, let's say 1500$ then it's possible that it can drag down Ethereum to 100$ but it's not possible to see Bitcoin goes down to that extent anymore so ETH will be fine, do not believe everything you read online

Wow, this thread started on 2018 when Ethereum price is really going down and we have seen it < $100 isn't it. And then this month alone, it suddenly peaked around $260-$280, that's why we need more patience in this market.

We can't really say that Ethereum is a shitcoin because it is still the top altcoin out there. It might have been undergoing a lot of price correction as we have seen, but it is slowly rising up, so we shouldn't lost hope on this project on the contrary, the it is still one of the best asset to invest specially that we have high hope this 2020-2021 that the crypto market will have a good bounce.

It is your opinion. I havent heard that CEO of Bitmex said this. You provided some local site but not official english source, like cnbc or ccn.
So do not spread false news. Ethereum is not a shitcoin!
