Although I don't own any ETH yet I think in this year it will become more "stable" regarding prices - just like currently BTC is (but let's see what halving will bring)

ETH is still overpriced. We can except dumps to continue.

The dumpings will continue until morale improves.

It will not improve because they all don't care and cashed out & left.
They never did care either.. they were all in it for the profit.

Ethereum is dead.
..time to face facts and wake up & smell the shill-coffee.

Funny, I heard Ethereum was already doomed to fail under $2.  I think the market can easily support Bitcoin and Ethereum.

Both of them are the future of digital coin. They have different functions. So they will have different applications.

The Ethereum price is still over $10. When it becomes $1 again, you may declare it is a dead coin.

Only because the Team who launched the coin did not dump yet (mostly)
When it was launched and before any word of it was going around the web..
There was massive amounts of coins bought in giant blocks one after another.
Someone orchestrated this pretty much pre-launch guaranteed.
And that activity from 2014 up until now has made them rich (once it got to $10 a coin)
So they prob cashed out *some* to cover their investment and let the rest ride.

What does this mean ?

The bitcoin could be the reserve currency of the digital currency. It will be used very widely, more than the USD.

Not very professional to first have to talk down bitcoin in order to pump some shitcoin.

I agree. 1st post for the kid that's skipping school today. lmao

BTC can easily adapt to anything as can namecoin, peercoin, litecoin etc etc etc and so forth and apply anything ethereum has.Every crypto coin out there can do the same.

Bitcoin is the number unit 1 of digital currency and ALL coins are paired against it and all dreamers looking at the manipulated pump and dump that is whip sawing in order to wipe out shorts and long margin positions are fucking stupid noobs or delusional dreamers only to see it getting hard forked in the end.

Bitcoin allows ethereum to exist by the very fact that both bitcoin and namecoin were brought about by the founding fathers of this whole scene and allowed its existence in the first place and here we have fools puffed up with pride in its face.

Bitcoin is the master of all puppets and when the commies roll out the next "crisis" to ban your cash and banks start charging negative interest rates and stealing savings when you are forced onto digits and are no longer able to hold cash in your pocket after the "next crisis"  Wink Wink the whole financial investor class who disagree will pour trillions of dollars of liquidity into it because thats how the story ends. Cool

May be, ETH is the future of crypto world but Bitcoin is pioneer and pioneers hardly looses.

ETH definitely has a very good potential and it can reach higher than the current market price, but I doubt it will ever be able to take over bitcoin. Not in this decade for sure.

There will be more "future of crypto" coins/tokens in upcoming months.

That is right. Ethereum will be future of the coin, so is Monero or Bitcoin. Maybe there will a dozen more in the next few months.

Lisk being another contender.

There is no dump at all. The recent price action is just the result of the price rise too much. It is a healthy correction.

Y'know: after chewing that one over, I wish I had coined it. It actually says a lot.

you joking right, there is heavy premined on ethereum, and i'm guessing that you are in contorl of a great amount as well

bagholders calling their currency better are hilarious
Does premining matter if the coin itself has utility?  Other than to enrich the person who premined it?

I'm still watching all of this with a semi detached interest.

If the premined is used to develop the coin and the value of the coin increase as a consequence, I think there is no problem.
