Nobody knows the exact bottom of ethereum and that is true for all of financial markets. For me the price of ethereum nowadays can sit there for a while doing sideways. When a very good news about blockchain has unleash then we can be able to see price action finally making uptrend move in my own opinion.

The only reason is simple, a lot of investors dumped their coin. For some unknown reason, they just happen to gave up on their coin which is very uncharacteristic of them as they've been patient through out the years. Maybe they reached their limit and chose to let go and end their suffering.
Finding dip is dangerous game if you don't have idea what kind of setups you are looking for. Buying in small steps will reduce average risks rather than playing this meaningless hunting game.
