i think it has massive potential, that's why I mine it and hodl it.
Ethereum is for sure one of those alts that you can not be wrong investing in . Ethereum have a huge step waiting in the near future which is moving to POS and I believe that we might see this sooner than expected specially with the new miners coming out soon from bitmain , I think Ethereum will move to POS by then or in worst cases by the end of this year , When Ethereum moves to POS there will be no limit to the next ATH of Ethereum only sky is its limit .
Ethereum came years after Bitcoin and took less time to value itself more than it, for in three and a half years in the digital market, Ethereum managed to reach prices of $ 3,500 per unit. While Bitcoin in 2013 (four years after being officially released to the public) could be found in the $ 200 per unit, and only came to the $ 10,000 in the year 2017.
Given the statistics my conclusion is that in a matter of potential, Ethereum is fabulous, has every positive track record for success.

The eth was and remains the most stable altcoin. Yes, a month ago it cost ~ 400, now 600. I hope for the winter again under 1000 will go away
I think that the potential of ethereum is quite massive, after a successful year for ethereum, it has climbed up onto the ladders and ranked #2 after bitcoin, bitcoin remains to be on top but again ethereum also has the potential to be #1 soon enough and might even dethrone Bitcoin.
Now there are a lot of alternative block platforms, I do not think that in the near future the Etherium will be the sole leader. I think that by the end of 2018 NEO, icon, Komodo, EOS.
There is a lot of hype towards ethereum, so in your opinion is that a good time for holding this alt?
MY opinion, it's having a future bright. IF you buy the ETH now I think it's will give you 2 x in a year. It is the stable coin and huge platforms.

I personally own more ethereum than bitcoin ( in terms of %) I think it has a bright future. Who knows though.
