The reason why I'm not selling some of my tokens because I'm waiting for the constantinople update. And after that, the eth price will spike as the Ethereum network will be much faster and block rewards will decrease. Constantinople update is bad news for crypto mining projects as it will decrease their earnings.

Me too mate. I have been holding my Ethereum for quite some time now, and it sure is a good thing to see if it will change for the better and show some much awaited gains. The upcoming hard-fork raised investors interest to ethereum and now it looks more bullish than bitcoin. I think in early January, ethereum will return to $ 200, and then everything will depend on the global market situation.
Whenever a hard fork is coming there's always expectations that prices will hike, but let's not forget not all forks may have a positive effect. I have often said it and I'll say it again, do not fall for famous people predictions as cryptos are volatile. While I'm not sure how much effect fork will have, there is a positive news regarding it's adoption which has grown, and which I believe will be a factor in price hike going ahead.

Each hardfork will provide an increase in the quality of each coin. Hardfork occurs because of a system that each developer wants to improve their coin, they will be divided into two cluster between standing up the authenticity of a coin and the second cluster that wants to improve the quality of the coin. As far I know, when a coin that decides to choose a hardfork wat then every investor will take the opportunity to take advantage, they will have both coins when the hardfork is finished maybe that is the most preferred advantage. If mid-January of 2019 ardfork ETH really happens then the price of ETH will rise slowly like BCH last month.
We hope have new and higher price of ethereum at new year and January 2019, maybe could raised and up to $1,500 at the new year, may hope of ethereum coul be higher price.
