Ethereum have chances to become $5000 this year 2018 and I hope $10,000 is really happen for this year. But $5000 is enough for me for this year because we need more time I think to reach that price but I think it will happen next year 2019 or by the year of 2020.
I dont think that it is really going to happen, take in consideration that if it reaches one of those prices, it is gonna be following the bitcoin's pattern, and that is not going to happen, take in consideration that ethereum supply is not limited.
More possibilities were available for the price increase and reach $5000 and above by this year. Already several people have mentioned ethereum to be the one which is gonna mark a big growth by this yea and some experts have mentioned 2018 as year of ethereum.
So I made a prediction on Litecoin a few days ago that sparked a lot of conversation on the thread. It was very interesting reading the different thought processes and predictions. So I decided to do the same for Ethereum, however, I think that Ethereum has a chance to go beyond the 2-5k threshold in 2018, if only they would market a bit better. I believe that they need to get these new "coinbase noobies" to understand what Ethereum is and why it's significant if they want to stand a chance of getting above that threshold in 2018.

I also expect you to accurately predict if Ethereum reaches $ 5000-10000 this year, Ethereum holders will have a lot of profit. However, I think this is an impossible task. Currently Ethereum is facing many difficulties. Its current price is only about $ 715. Ethereum takes a lot of time to recover and grow. to reach over $ 5000 then I think Ethereum needs more than 3 years. I predict that the highest price that Ethereum can achieve this year is $ 2,000. I trust this project and it seems to me that this is one of the strongest coins, but I do not believe that the price can reach 5-10k this year. It seems to me unreal.
Same with me here, this project will have to be more stable for coming months this year and if we'll expect great from it we'll be profitable in the next few months to go. More and more contract to entrust this coins as eth will go for more development as well.
The ethereum price is $5000 or higher? My anwer is yes, for sure but not this year. Ethereum in last time is still in one price. It's been almost half a year and the price has only reached 700 dollars so it is impossible to increase this price more than 8 times in next six months

I agree with your opinion. eth prices will be below $ 1000 if high also probably just at $ 1000 no higher. At present the number of investors in the market is high and the number of altcoin is high so the competition among the coin is quite high.Ether is a good project with working product and the price is increasing due to great demand. The old best price was almost $1500 and next station can be around $5000 actually. There is nothing wrong with this.

I don't think this predictions can be achieve. Ether is now trading far less than halve of $5000 and to say it will be in between 5000 -10000 seems impossible. We have less than 8 months to end the year and not much improvement.
I want to disappoint you, the red price of Ethereum until the end of 2018 is 1500-1700 dollars. Cryptocurrencies will not give a huge income, as it was in the past.

Ethereum can reach 5k dollars by the end of this year if bitcoin will tough high targets. We all know that ethereum depends on bitcoin for making progress and the future of BTC is a bright one. Crypto experts are of the opinion that it will touch 35k to 40k dollars before 2019 and I fully agree to their statement. When this will happen, ETH will also be somewhere near 5k to 8k dollars.But I am not seeing big fans for ethererum how many people are heartfully ready to hold bitcoins for years. When the community is not supporting with long term holding, no coin may have a sustaining price levels. Even if it will be touching some unimaginable price levels, it may get a heavy dump following that.
It seems to me some people are very optimistic, and they are not realists at all. The maximum that can be expected this year, is 2 thousand or even less.

If Ethereum is going to cost 5000$, then bitcoin would have cost about 25000$. I do not know what should happen to the price of Ethereum by the end of the year shot up to$5000.

I assure you that ETH will never achieve this value. If eth get this value btc would probably increase to over $ 50000 this is a most terrible price. But almost all governments of nations are trying to control the investors in crypto in their own country. Not as easy as in previous years.
I would be very happy if Ethereum reached these price levels! But I think it will take much longer than a year. And in the longer term, perhaps Ethereum will surpass even bitcoin in capitalization.
