It can be at a certain point ethereum will go on his own path and stop following bitcoin, the technology it's offering is quite mature and is getting adopted at an astonishing pace.
Actually most of us predicted a good growth of eth on this year because of its performance but unfortunately the price suddenly plunges along with bitcoin, but i believe even though the price of eth is very low it will never die. And it will rise again after the bitcoin growth rate climb. 'cause indeed market always stabilize after .
Unfortunately I think Ethereum decreased along with other currencies because there isn't any incentive in staking it. Once the Casper Network comes out, there should be a higher and more stabilized since people will be less willing to sell their ETH
I really taught this year was for Ethereum but what happen? 
I'm so disappointed holding it. Why did Ethereum go with btc flow? Everytime btc falls it falls also. I’m rooting for it since its is an open-source, public, blockchain-based distributed computing platform and operating system featuring smart contract. Dont be dissapointed mate , me too actually ive been rooting for the price but then again the price of btc and also eth same it goes down and its dumping. Dont take it as a loss , take it as an oppportunity , take the risks though its worth it to be honest.

Any alternative currency is very dependent on the price of Bitcoin. Ethereum is no exception. In addition, now we can observe the manipulation of the Eos. BTC is the leading coin market and altcoin prices are all dependent on BTC prices, ETH falls on the BTC price is not something strange, but if you hold ETH I recommend you continue to hold them. Next time they will grow again.
it's very sad I also hold ETH, but that's a market consolidation and we do not have to panic, although it can still remain at this level.

You may not know that Bitcoin affects all Altcoins. Bitcoin is the source of every reason for the market to go down. Ethereum has a lot of potentials and many Altcoin grows on its platform, but its movement is dependent on Bitcoin because Bitcoin is the king of Crypto. I'm so disappointed holding it. I do not think that the tokens have a dependence on the ethereum, but they have a dependence on the general trend of the market and the trend is now bearish, so you just have to wait I'm so disappointed holding it. ETH's selling pressure is very high, which leads to the decline of the price of ETH. However, this does not mean that ETH is not valuable. On the contrary, ETH is at an undervalued price.
This is the great time to invest in ether because this is a discounted price, just keep in mind one thing you need to wait long term for the prices to stable
I say not yet timely for now holding their ethereum or tokens, seeing bitcoin prices not really good to buy at the moment, it takes 1 or 2 months to go back up
Not perfect time to buy since its so though to tell at this time since maybe we might gonna encounter some massive dips with the current price of the ETH But I would rather buy it on the nearly end of 3 quarter since mostly that month mostly the market became more alive. let's hope ETH and the whole crypto market will recover since if red days will still occur until next year well provably crypto's will be at lose stake.
This year just started crypto world, you will see that a lot of Bitcoin fans because Bitcoin price in the market is very strong for the price that will happen in such exchange
A lot of factors resulted into the price of Ethereum getting dumped, in a bear market, when there is increase in selling pressure the price must come down. Just go and check the way ICO developer sold the Ethers collected during their token sale this year and are still selling and the demand from ICO has reduced significantly recently, how many ICOs are selling out fast like before. So it is not a matter of BTC, it is a general market sentiment

That will be the death certificate of this coin. I expect even lower prices in the future because those Antminers cost almost nothing compared to a 6GPU rig. There will be so many eth mined by ASICs and most of them will either flow to bitcoin or USD. We'll see.

I'm not agree with you... ETH is still the infrastructure of all others Altcoins, which use it as tokens.
Almost all cryptocurrencies depend mostly on the price performance of bitcoin and that is my observation ever since I had joined in bitcoin. Ethereum's price in the current situation has been stagnant and declining for I believe this has been correlated with bitcoin. One thing that I could be certain is that Ethereum will be recovering from it's dip where I believe this will happen within the year, so just hold your coins and wait for that moment to happen and let us not loose hope.
Every beginning of year the market goes through a period of stabilization or downfall, knowing this, Ethereum and other currencies are going through the same moment and there is not much we can do just maneuver our investments. However, in the second half Ethereum tends to recover its prices, otherwise its prices may return in the long run.
