EVC Token is still being promoted, but the project has grown so big on the development side there are many functions that event organizers need to have a successful event that it has become. We are still keeping up to date with EVC Listings though.

EVC Was recently listed on Bitractic.com! Trading can be found here: https://www.bitcratic.com/#!/trade/EVC-ETH

We were also listed on Atomars.com. Trading can be found here: https://atomars.com/trading/EVCETH

We recently put out two updates on ticketing news as well:

Ticketing News - StubHub Purchases Tickets Directly with "Sell It Now" Function, and how this affects EventChain:

News video can be found here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HRT2RsFhHFw

Ticketing News - 40 Major Music Festivals Ban Facial Recognition. How does this affect users privacy, and what if those tickets are on the blockchain?

Video can be watched here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0yhXkHHRQW4

We are not very active in BCT, but can be contacted directly at our EventChain Telegram. Please feel free to join us there: https://t.me/eventchain

Here are a few business updates from the EventChain Team!

The Gaming Stadium
We have entered into an exclusive agreement to provide ticketing services for The Gaming Stadium, the first eSports arena in Western Canada. At the end of July, we ticketed the grand opening of The Gaming Stadium with almost 500 in attendance and will continue to ticket The Gaming Stadium’s events held in the Richmond 5-6 days per week for at least the next two years. We look forward to working with more eSports partners as the industry continues to grow throughout North America and aim to become the ticketing leader in the eSports industry.

C0NTACT
We have established a relationship with C0NTACT, a Blockchain company out California - We look forward to working with C0NTACT to bring unique digital assets to events we ticket to our eSports event attendees.

New Office Spaces
We have acquired two new office spaces located in Vancouver BC. Our larger office doubles as an event space holding up to 50 attendees and will be hosting events for local event organizers ticketing on EventChain. This is a great way to support the local events scene, bring more awareness to EventChain’s services and network in person with event organizers around the city.

Wonderful Announcement for EventChain: We are proud to announce that Dr. Steven Funk is accepted the role of Chairman of the Board of EventChain.

Dr. Funk, after his career pivot, went on to found Aspen Properties, bought Imperial Parking and oversaw it’s expansion by M&A, IPO, and organic growth in North America and Asia to dominance.  He conceived, created and built the Canadian Maple Leaf Funds (“CML”) into the largest venture group of its category.  Aspen Properties, founded in 1987 from a standing start, became the owner of one of the largest portfolios of CBD office commercial real estate in Alberta based in Calgary.  Dr. Funk sold the entire Aspen interest in 2006/07.

Dr. Funk is co-founder and was a director, financier and Member of Investment Committee of The Dignity Fund, a social impact fund.  He is a member of YPO Gold and was a founding member of the Peace Action Network of YPO and YPO Gold.  YPO and YPO Gold are a 22,000 member international organization of corporate and philanthropic President’s and CEO’s committed to empowering and leveraging their abilities to have positive global impact.

Dr. Funk is the underwriter of the Canucks Cancer Kids annual event, a TED Patron and sits on the Innovations Board of the XPrize Foundation.

Dr. Funk was the founding financier and director of the now highly acclaimed micro-development financier and accelerator, Unitus Capital, now closing in on $1.5 billion of lead banking and advisory role financings over the past 10 years.  He is a former director of the Canada China Business Council, Chair of the Microcredit Summit Advisory Board and founding member of the Red Cross Sheldon Kennedy Foundation for Abused Children and has been an active participant in the Prince of Wales Foundation.  He is also the Chief Executive Advocate and African rally race car driver who founded Race4Change supporting several noted women’s empowerment groups.

His lengthy history in substantial corporate emergences, his private equity technology investment portfolio and his social, academic and business networks all make it a great pleasure to welcome Dr. Steven Funk as EventChain’s Chairman.

We look forward to our continued success with great people surrounding and guiding us and the expanding EventChain team growing us each day.

in BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT news, we are now hosting events in 27 countries in the first 6 months of our launch, and continue to grow throughout the rest of the world each day.

Sincerely,

EventChain never delivered ALL of the promises of their roadmap !!!

https://blockpublisher.com/eventchain-co-founder-interview-weve-delivered-all-of-the-promises-of-our-road-map/

Where are the promises from 2018:
**mobile wallet client

* Eventchain Oracle

they ofcourse dissapeared later from the roadmap SHAME!!!SHAME!!!SHAME!!

FACEBOOK and TWITTER are fake too , there is no community except few admins who act like like bots.

The team (BIG TEAM) is far from delivering their promises. SHAME SHAME SHAME!!!!

Endless possibilities
(ROADMAP ending)

I cannot comment on the Telegram as it is not accessible for me for some reason. The raising of capital at ICO was not too massive so could understand if they have to focus on main features right now. There is some videos on youtube that hint at the current focus. I would be interested to know when the cooperation with iflyer comes into effect. It is ok to do tickets for gaming conventions but overall it is only small number of events and all North America.

The comeptition is not sleeping so I hope the team is aware that urgency is needed.

Hey Holla, You can join the telegram at https://t.me/eventchain I checked the list and I see your username as accepted! Come on in.

Macish, I know you have been supporting our project since the beginning, thanks for following along.

As businesses move and grow, roadmaps are updated slightly and you have to navigate your way through the important features. Fortunately in our case, we have been able to address these issues. Here are some comments for the items which you are asking about.

**mobile wallet client: Our application is built with a mobile first mentality and can already purchase tickets and host events from mobile. We are in the process of getting into the app store but the web app can be put on any smartphones home page already!

* desktop wallet client: The Desktop app is complete and users can pay for tickets with BTC/ETHEVC, Credit Cards, and PayPal!

* VR smartickets: VR Ticketing has started, however we are finalizing enhanced ticket security first which we know will be used by every guest! See the details below.

* Eventchain ticket exchange interface: We are finalizing the secure transfer of tickets between attendees very soon! After this we'll be working on the the secondary market which can enforce price limitations, etc.

* Eventchain Oracle: An oracle is used currently to pull the current bitcoin/ETH/EVC Prices for a ticker price (ex. a $100 ticket) to know how much crypto to pay. This is live!

Rome wasn't built overnight, and neither was EventChain. We have already been developing the applications for over 14 months and are continuing to deliver. Here is a brief look at some of the features we are finalizing right now.

Hybrid Block Explorer – The Hybrid Explorer empowers event attendees to track and verify the authenticity of their tickets and view any limitations or restrictions put in place by the organizers or artists without any knowledge of blockchain technology.

iOS and Android Application put into Appstore – EventChain was built with mobile in mind, coded in mobile-friendly React.JS and Node.JS that can easily be ported to ReactNative. This strategy will enable efficient and cost effective publishing in both app-stores for further marketing exposure to mobile users and a more seamless customer experience from mobile devices.

Enhanced Ticket Security – Beyond securing event tickets on the blockchain, organizers can choose to enable additional security measures including digital only tickets which cannot be printed or screen captured and SmartQR codes that are not generated until a predetermined time prior to the event start.

EventChain Payment Gateway – Organizers currently collect all ticketing funds, ticket revenue and EventChain’s ticket processing fees, directly through their own PayPal, Stripe, and CoinPayments.net (cryptocurrency) accounts. EventChain then invoices organizers for the ticket processing fees collected each month throughout the sale period. To streamline organizer onboarding, have more control over the collection of ticket fee revenue and facilitate automated ticket refunds on behalf of organizers, EventChain will provide its own payment gateway.

We appreciate the continued support, and are working around the clock.

Best,

Ashton

What EventChain is doing to promote their EVC token?

There seems to be none. The little community that EventChain had made during its active days has been left without any significant update resulting to all of them leaving the project. Right now, EventChain looks dying.

"We’re continuing to build out standard features that event creators and promoters need to manage events.  Last month we added private events, improved the checkin interface and ticket layout based on user feedback, began our integrations with email marketing and CRM platforms and our public API.  Although it may not be reflected in the crypto charts, we have ticketed close to 150 events since Jan.  The reality is that many of the organizers still need to be educated and reassured of the use and benefits of blockchain and are especially cautions of crypto considering the overall volatility of the market.  The features that will build a strong tokenomics base will be implemented later this year due to these factors.  Our priority at this time is to be able to support event creators in their day to day event management and second will be tokenomics.  Thanks for your continued support of our mission to restore trust in ticketing." - DINO B

Concert promoter puts tickets on blockchain

Tickets for a concert featuring top soca stars will be available on a blockchain-based system for the first time in Bermuda.

This month’s Syzygy Festival, with an all-star soca and reggae line-up including international headliners Bunji Garlin and Sizzla Kalonji, has signed up Canadian-based technology company Eventchain to sell tickets, which can be bought securely and will accept payment in cryptocurrencies like bitcoin and ethereum.

Alex Marshall, an island entrepreneur, promoter of the show and a performer, said: “It’s the largest line-up to my knowledge of international acts on a stage in Bermuda.

“And in order to hit a new tourism demographic, we are the first event ever in Bermuda where people can purchase tickets on blockchain through our partners Eventchain, which is the largest platform for this in the world right now.

“People can pay with cash or pay with bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies. It’s the first time outside of the United States people can do this. With Bermuda bidding to be a leader in the blockchain space, that’s pretty cool.”

Mr Marshall added: “There is an entire demographic who hold cryptocurrency and want to spend it. It’s exciting and different and will attract people from overseas.

“It’s tapping into a whole new demographic that not even the Bermuda Tourism Authority has tackled. We plan to do this every year and it will grow and grow.”

The concert, organised by Mr Marshall’s Hot Fiyah Entertainment and VAS Productions of Atlanta and Trinidad, will feature Bunji Garlin from Trinidad and Sizzla Kalonji of Jamaica alongside other top stars like Orlando Octave, Marlon Asher and Pressure Busspipe, as well as Mr Marshall, who uses the stage name Fiyah Marshall.

Other performers are still to be announced.

The event on December 29 will run from 6pm to 3am. It will be held at the former BAR Land Rover headquarters at Dockyard, which is now the concert venue The Shed.

Ashton Addison, CEO of Vancouver’s Eventchain, said: “We are a brand-new blockchain-based events ticketing company.

“We accept cryptocurrencies like bitcoin and ethereum as well as credit cards and other traditional payment methods.”

He added the site can put tickets on to the ethereum blockchain and creates “a copy of the ticket so the ticket cannot be removed or counterfeited”.

Mr Marshall said that a special boat service will run from Hamilton on the night of the concert, alongside Government ferries.

He added: “We wanted to do something different in Bermuda. It’s the same kind of parties every year and there was really nothing at this time of year.

“It’s a great way to blend soca and reggae and attract a new kind of tourist to Bermuda at what is traditionally a quiet time of year.”

Mr Marshall added that tickets will also be available on Eventchain at https://eventchain.io/event-details/129 from today.
