How much have people lost to ED?

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/it-was-a-joke-people-631601
There are about 242 btc in ED's two cold wallets. No idea how much btc are in ED's hot wallet.

I mean I don't see anyone tracking ED down, why is that?

No idea, but it seems no one has doxxed ED yet.

Btw, 1dice1 was considering legal actions.

Everydice indeed seemed to have some potential, although, was almost a clone of JD.

Hopefully we can offer a compliment with enough innovation for some variety in a bankrollers portfolio - https://satoshicarnival.co

We go live Tuesday June 10th, with 2 more games currently in development, those subsequent games will have 2.5% house edge.

Expect affiliation, and 2 methods of 2FA by launch (message signing and GA).

Sorry to hear about this mess, hoping for a positive end to anyone who was effected.  The Bitcoin space doesn't need any more scams or evil actors.

Everybody blame support of everydice but what is with 1dice1, does anyone suspect about this player found exploit and make this hardly believe large amount

Check a few pages back, and you can find some discussion on the "luck" of 1dice1.
ED kept telling us 1dice1 won a lot, but seems omitted his huge loss.
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.6955475

And as onlinepro and deadley explained, ED no longer shows up or communicates, which clearly shows us who the bad guy is. Wink

Wait has anyone thought of this theory?  It's totally wild but what if 1dice1 is in cahoots with ED or is actually the same person(s)?  It would be the perfect excuse for ED to run with all the money and claim it's because they can't pay 1dice1 or there was a glitch so they had to close down.

The owners don't really need to find an excuse, they can at any time run away without giving a reason.

Then everyone who got scammed would blame 1dice1 while ED gets away.

Blame 1dice1? For "winning too much" or "having too much luck?
Each casino have set a max win each bet to control the risk, and it is the responsibility of the owners to do it right.

Am I missing something here. Why didn't 1Dice1 progressively withdraw his/her winnings?

Another thing that has been bugging me, if I won as much as 1Dice1 on a gaming site, and they refused to pay, I would be a lot angrier then he/she seems to be. Perhaps 1Dice1 is a lot richer than I am.

Maybe 1dice1 was "investing" his winnings in the bankroll between playing sessions.  Why withdraw them to a wallet where the coins will sit idle if you have the option of having them "work" for you on a dice site?

The answer is obvious now ("because the dice site might steal them!") but probably wasn't at the time.

As for getting angry, I don't see how that would help 1dice1's cause.  He's at ED's mercy, so probably feels like he has to be polite to them despite how he feels.

Maybe, but why haven't ED showed any proof of that then?

Well than owner of ed wouldnt need to run with 1dice1 and all other investors money. He coulda just show proof or even refuse to pay or just payback deposit or something. But he decided to run with all the money.

I have a question about 1Dice1 that has been bugging me as I have read this thread. As he/she was betting and winning, why wasn't he/she withdrawing funds on the way up. There doesn't seem to be any purpose in maintaining a large deposit balance with ED or any gaming site.

I run a bitcoin gaming site https://bitcoin-scratchticket.com. We came online earlier this year. We do not have "investors" funding our bankroll, we do that with our own capital (which is sufficiently large to cover our max bets and statistical variances). As is fairly common, we support instant withdrawal of funds. Because we are relatively new, and perhaps because of the nature of Bitcoin gambling sites, most of our players make deposits and play for a while. As they accumulate winnings, they withdraw them - sometimes 3 or 4 withdrawals in a single session. They don't have to and in fact incur more Bitcoin network transaction fees (0.0001 BTC per withdrawal), but they choose to make frequent withdrawals for their own perceived security.

Am I missing something here. Why didn't 1Dice1 progressively withdraw his/her winnings?

Well he doesn't seem rich, someone said he started with only about 0.29BTC
But maybe he is happy about those 55BTC+ he alredy got. Still 190x his original money.

And what diffrend would it make if he screams here? Nothing, so better just enjoy those money he got and hope he get rest too.
In the end, it probably wouldn't make much difference at all if 1Dice1 screamed and yelled. I just think it is unusual that someone who lost that much money didn't show more anger.
