For the most part, Just Dice is perfect.

It's just the appearance that could potentially put people off, if that could be worked on I don't think there would be much need for any other Dice sites Smiley

There is always tlthe need for other sites and competition.
I personaly dont like jd, design is terible, chat design is terible. No auto bet if u dont use bot.

For me primedice is almost perfect. Pd3 will be even better. But we still need new dice sites so the current ones can get better and better.

Competition betwen LN and pd made us alot of free happy houtlrs and giveaways.

I do disliek the setup of justdice, also I don't think there is a faucet, is there?  LN and PD faucets have gotten me used to using those sites.

What happened at EveryDice? The site seems offline xX

You can read this thread starting from post #1194. https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.6878398

TL;DR: Someone won a lot. OP didn't pay. The site went down. OP vanished.

You resumed it well, it is terrible; so simple; we shouldn't put our trust in anonymous people that don't have a big history of trust

For exemple, dooglus has been around for a while and showed he was trust worthy; it doesn't mean there is no risks involved in investing in JD but it is at least way way less risky than investing in a new Bitcoin business

All sites were once anonymous and new.
And the first ones established a monopoly. It's how the market works.

Yes, but i think there is still room for impruvments. (some new dice sites)

Yeah, worst case scenario for 1DiCe1 is that he's still made loads of money. Unfortunately it seems like the situation for investors is lose/lose - it'd be nice to have what very little I still had invested back at some point though ;_; (assuming the investigation comes up clean of course)

I have a question about 1Dice1 that has been bugging me as I have read this thread. As he/she was betting and winning, why wasn't he/she withdrawing funds on the way up. There doesn't seem to be any purpose in maintaining a large deposit balance with ED or any gaming site.

I run a bitcoin gaming site https://bitcoin-scratchticket.com. We came online earlier this year. We do not have "investors" funding our bankroll, we do that with our own capital (which is sufficiently large to cover our max bets and statistical variances). As is fairly common, we support instant withdrawal of funds. Because we are relatively new, and perhaps because of the nature of Bitcoin gambling sites, most of our players make deposits and play for a while. As they accumulate winnings, they withdraw them - sometimes 3 or 4 withdrawals in a single session. They don't have to and in fact incur more Bitcoin network transaction fees (0.0001 BTC per withdrawal), but they choose to make frequent withdrawals for their own perceived security.

Am I missing something here. Why didn't 1Dice1 progressively withdraw his/her winnings?

Another thing that has been bugging me, if I won as much as 1Dice1 on a gaming site, and they refused to pay, I would be a lot angrier then he/she seems to be. Perhaps 1Dice1 is a lot richer than I am.

Well he doesn't seem rich, someone said he started with only about 0.29BTC
But maybe he is happy about those 55BTC+ he alredy got. Still 190x his original money.

And what diffrend would it make if he screams here? Nothing, so better just enjoy those money he got and hope he get rest too.

i can't say i couldn't see this coming, but you guys have no one to blame but yourself for trusting anonymous nice looking sites. why don't you try using gambling sites backed up by a real business.

I dont get why they would run tho, the site has BIG BIG BIG potential and they couldve just paid 1dice1 over a few weeks or months..  Huh Huh

The bankroll was meant to be funded by investors anyway, so it would have cost ED nothing to pay 1dice1 his winnings.

One of whom being the investor who supposedly holds the keys to the cold storage.

As I understand it, ED took commission on every bet, win or lose, so they wouldn't have been hurting at all from 1dice1's lucky run.

They could at least sell the site. It had a good look.

Scammed ruru Tongue
But scamming ruru is always a plus.  Grin

We would probably be out of line leaving them positive feedback for that eh? Wink Cheesy

Maybe just a litle bit out of line. Lol. Cheesy

OP (https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/everydice-227245) logged in his account yesterday, but he don't even care to make an update here with a make-up story

Honestly, that does not mean much. Whoever the owner is created this account purely for running this site, hence the name. He most likely is an active user on another account.

True.
But if the owners want to keep running the site, with or without paying 1Dice1, he should continue communication with his existing and potential bettors and investors. It is now clearly to me that he simply doesn't care about his existing and potential bettors and investors.

He wont do that. If he wants to keep running site, he will just do redesign and launch again , then probably scam everybody again.

Hopefully everybody will be more hesitant to investing. Just launching in March, we are slowly picking up. I don't know how they got so much attention so soon, but if a site were to launch immediately and attract that much attention I would steer away.

ED Last Active:   May 30, 2014, 10:26:06 AM it doesn't look good

They were very lucky when they launched, people liked the Ref system and they got a few highrollers

They ware probably not so lucky as in they ware faking high-rollers to get attention , they probably faked some investments to to get the train moving .

Yeah it's been 10 days now since the site was taken down, I'm fairly confident it will launch again but it is worrying that it's taken quite this long, coupled with how easy it would be for Ed to run off with the money - though I'm sure there would be a lot of people here keen to track him down Smiley

I still think there's time for a turnaround tbh, but the longer it drags on, the worse things will be.
