Honestly, that does not mean much. Whoever the owner is created this account purely for running this site, hence the name. He most likely is an active user on another account.

True.
But if the owners want to keep running the site, with or without paying 1Dice1, he should continue communication with his existing and potential bettors and investors. It is now clearly to me that he simply doesn't care about his existing and potential bettors and investors.

He wont do that. If he wants to keep running site, he will just do redesign and launch again , then probably scam everybody again.

Hopefully everybody will be more hesitant to investing. Just launching in March, we are slowly picking up. I don't know how they got so much attention so soon, but if a site were to launch immediately and attract that much attention I would steer away.

They were very lucky when they launched, people liked the Ref system and they got a few highrollers

By these, I am not saying my site is better than JD or PD. In fact, I still feel JD is the best for professional dice players, just want to point out the differences.

Right, and all I'm saying is that if you or I "turn evil", we can still run off with player funds.  Being player-vs-player doesn't change that.

Yeah

But ED didn't "turn evil" because he want to be evil. Instead, he was forced to be "evil" , because this 1DiCe1 situation, otherwise I'm sure he will stay here for much longer. Agree?

with CrowdDice.com, no one can FORCE me to "turn evil", not any super lucky player, not angry & disappointed Investor.

Of course one day I can just "turn evil" myself and run away. But just like I said before, the future prospective of a very stable long-term income reduce my urge to run away in the short term

 Grin

Nope i dont agree. I think he wanted to be evil from the start. Just waited to get to some goal (like 300 btc) on his site and then shut down.

If so, ED could just shut down the site and run, no one could find him, since he's anonymous, why the mess with 1DiCe1?

What mess exactly ? There is no mess , he done everything he wanted to do, 1DiCe1 was just a trigger to that action.

Why did he send that 50BTC to him right before he ran  Shocked

Maybe they thought it wasn't that bad, they could make it back then they got afraid never to make it back and that the site was compromised

ED is a good site hoping they fix this Cheesy

Yeah, it had best desing.
But I don't think could I even trust this site anymore after that.

A poll to know who thinks ED will payback 1Dice1 and investors would be interesting

easy answer no one Smiley

I don't think you are a shill, but from what I heard, buying his balance for a few coins and then possibly exchange that for a slice of the house edge - or other benefits for that matter, does not sound ethical to me.

I don't see any ethical problem with Ruru buying 1dice1's ED balance if both parties are happy with the deal.

The offer was maybe a little low, but it's starting to look like it may have been a little high, too.  For those who think otherwise, I'm owed 1 BTC by pirateat40, and am willing to sell the debt for 1% of its face value.

Youd take my 0.01 for your debt of 1 btc from Pirateat40? Sounds good but will he ever return?

Ah well maybe he wanted to make it right, continue to run the site, than saw it would cost him to much and then decided to run ? Who knows, im just wild guessing.
I hope he comes back and fix this , but rly i dont think that is gonna happen.

Guys, it seems being anonymous is the norm for dice site operators. Personally I want to  make a difference, and is right now thinking about register my site under a legal entity such as a limited company, but would that give you more faith in my site?

Also, anyone know about whether it is officially legal to run a bitcoin dice site like JD or PD or CrowdDice.com?  If that's not really legal of course anyone would stay away from registration.

Its not rly legal, but its not rly illegal also Cheesy . So u are good with it Smiley .
