He deposited 20 BTC to an account, and it was withdrawn shortly afterwards.

He says he didn't withdraw it, and that there's no possible way his machine has malware on it, so it must be a Just-Dice bug.

You say ED owner is not in good health. Maybe the bad health caused him to just "give up" on the site and run off, OR the bad health developed because he ran off witht he BTC, and it's been too stressful for them. If you know IP and town, I think you COULD exert pressure (legally I mean) like showing up to his house, writing a letter, etc. Good luck!

4SD means that your results were 4 standard deviations away from the mean. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Standard_deviation which has an extremely small chance of happening. i'm sorry that this situation happened to you. what should have been an extremely lucky result has turned into an unlucky one.

Yes, like I said one play session I happened to see was almost +4SD which means either he's incredibly lucky, or something is up. I don't blame ED for investigating it, or even taking their time with it for that matter, but taking down the site and giving us very little communication is poor.

Indeed it is important to remind the Bitcoin ecosystem that has always been fraught with dishonesty and evil that there are actors that blend the interests of that ecosystem with their own and are genuinely interested in the ways Bitcoin is moving the online gambling space forward. Figured you'd understand that.

If someone had the intentions to scam, they would make a clone of a successful site and leave as quickly as they arrived, not put in a lot of work and care.

Having put in 6 months with 2 partners of nonstop work, yes I am quite excited and eager to show the Bitcoin gambling world all of our hard work.

After reading it again today, yes perhaps it wasn't the best place to mention it as such. However, if I had simply and vaguely stated there are good actors in this space, don't lose hope in Bitcoin gambling, then I'd implicitly be referring to our project...

In any case, in the interests of neutrality then - soon enough there won't exist much need for trust in bankrolling initiatives anyhow.
