i think not everyone, if someone already buy coin then the price dump, if he sell it, he already lose his money, if just hold still not lose, just value of the coin is decrease.
and also you can make profit from buying again at the dip, life is balance if someone lose then someone win.

it seems that is not true, there are some people who hold hold and they will not be able to experience losses when they hold their assets, if they sell it at cheap prices, of course it makes them lose.

No their are traders who always book profit on rise as they have bought in low and they know that now the market will be going to correct and they sell off and now in low they buy back. It is very simple theory of market that it always go up and down so who ever is buying in low when ever you see profit just book it. Even some traders know inside info of some coins so they just sell of and buy back in low.

Yeah also, i personally have noticed this but if you've been tracking or observing a certain coin for a long time, you'll have an idea of how it will fluctuate whether the market is red or green. Though profit can be considerably small, it's better than suffering in a red market

Always ways to make money in a bear market. Shorting stock at leverage the most profitable perhaps.
That said, there are always counter trend movements to trade also.

Who work in this online industry they are know it is very common issue when market going to dump people loss his money. Cryptocurrency trader always try to recover his money in this region again they lost his money because when market show red signal on that time not perfect for staet trading. It is also better for everyone on the time you hold your coin and when market pump then you can sell your coin. If you follow the strategy I hope you can't lost your money.

Not everyone will lose money, and the team that produces tokens and some whales/sharks can't lose money, because the market decline may be caused by them!

Not everyone, only the people who sold their coins when the market is down will be the real losers.but there are strategies we can make money even when the prices were falling like buying more coins when the price is cheaper and uses the daily price swing to make some money.

It will be reasonable to make your portfolio of many different cryptocurrencies that have real activity, there are about 60-70 pieces and distribute your capital on them. During the long-term period, they will grow and then you need to fix the profit when reaching 30-50% growth.

Somebody makes money while somebody loses money, the market is always like this! No matter in what market, most people lose money, a few people in profit!
It depends on how much the money is as well. People dumping at loss are not making money but rather losing money. It might seem from your argument that everyone who is selling is at profit of bitcoin but in reality it is not so - why? Because of the panic sellers who think crypto is mighty ponzi and then dump all coins.

Not every one those who do transaction during the market is down then some time they suffers and i think that  still they are not losing much because if not urgent i don't use the crypto for making transactions and if you do with out any policy or expert opinion then you will not lose money.
It all comes back to what price you bought the coin and what price you are selling at. Expert opinions will also say the same thing. Wink

Not everyone but maybe 70% to 85% of all the investors and holders. Why I said that because there are many professional traders and brokers around and they might have read the outcome of cryptocurrencies this year and sold all of their coins before the crash happened. They might also lost some but I'm sure that their gains still dominates.
Bear market is always an opportunity for professional traders who simply have the swing strategy style of trading. It may be a bit hard for day traders to trade a volatile bear market which is why so many day traders rather prefer to stay clear the market during some periods than trying to trade the market at that point in time.

The bad thing however, is that a lot of people in the space trade with little or no knowledge, and for a bear market, that would be the worst for them to ever trade.

no, not everyone loses money when the market goes down because many people are experienced in trading and have a good strategy so they will still be able to get profit by utilizing the opportunities that exist

not really . Many people still make money, profits in the market decrease with their experience and tactics. They can buy low price and sell high price when the market rises in a short time. Investors only lose money when they panic selling all at low prices. If they don't sell them and hold them, they will not lose anything.

Yes and no. If you think about most of the people loses their money when the market is down then it is right. But think about when you have coins which you purchased at lower cost than even if the market down then you are in profit. If you purchase Bitcoin at the rate of 6500$ then now you sure in profit. Because now at the moment bitcoin goes over 7000$. But the market is still down. Unless it goes over 12000$ we can’t say that it going up.

So with how much bitcoin and all the altcoins are down, is it even possible for any trader to make any money?  Example let say this.  You buy btc at a very low price due to these dips.  Now you could either keep btc or buy altcoins with it.  Now the market goes down every single day.  First off, does anyone know if btc or any altcoins ever have a day where the prices drop every single hour?  Or is that impossible?

Anyways, with how much all the coins are dropping, is it even possible for any trader to make money on days or weeks like this?  Im thinking its only possible if they make sure they sell it at the right hour and minute etc in order to profit.  But of course if they are down almost all day, how is it even possible for anyone to make any money?  Sure when the market goes back up in a while, and the price gets higher than they bought it at and now they sell, the profit.  However, the same ppl who hold the coins will profit as well.

Because doesn't it seem like there is no skill involved at all it seems?  Because if the market is down for a long time, what percentage of traders are even making any money when the market is down?  Of course if you got a coin at like 10 cents a long time ago and then it went to 5 dollars... and now because of this.. its now down to say 1 dollar, well you are still up money if you sell it now.  But the same ppl who got this coin probably got it at over 3 dollars and lost a huge percentage of its value.

So is it true almost everyone loses money when the market is down?  And almost everyone makes money when the market is up?  Because if btc goes up, the alts follow.  BTC drops, everything follows.  Its like there is zero skill at all almost.   Such that yes when it goes up, some altcoins might go up higher than others.  Also why do certain very good altcoins drop when btc drop if that project is very good etc?  Yes i know you need btc to get that coin and vice versa but its like its either everyone wins or everyone loses.

So right now market is down a lot especially for those who bought not that long ago.  So where is the skill here?  Its basically when to sell and when to buy right?  However, when market is down like this, who is damn making any money?  Because isn't almost everyone losing money?  The only ppl that i could see that likes this huge dip are those that have usd/usdt ready and picking when to buy.  Of course they could have waited till btc was 8k and thought great i buy now or buy alts and each of these already lost a lot already.

Who is making any money now when the market is down?  The ppl who are selling?  Surely not since the price they sell now is much less than before.  Also just curious but does this apply to stocks and forex trading as well?  I know that well stock market goes up, doesn't almost all the stocks all go up it seems?  The same can be said of forex or am i wrong here?  I only know forex is money trading with different currencies etc.  Because when you look at other things like poker or sportsbetting... someone is winning and someone is losing.  Also to anyone that bets sports or knows about sports, you might hear how all the wise guys are losing money.  Wise guys are sophisticated sharp bettors that are much smarter than your average joe.   That average joe most likely bets very square picks... meaning like obvious public teams etc.  However, the thing is the public does win.  And when they do that, sportsbook would lose money.  But usually they get it back and the average joe loses it back betting very public plays and the sophisticated bettors aka sharps win again.  However, i heard of sharps having really bad seasons etc.

So based on that, doesn't it seem like crypto trading is basically everyone wins or everyone loses?  Because in sportsbetting, yes the house does win and they house could also have a losing streak.  But eventually they win back the average joes money.  But if the average joe gets lucky and goes on a huge run whether betting favorites or underdogs or whatnot, its possible for him to win for a long time or lose for a long time.  Also let say you have a few players who are sharp sportsbettors and a few average joes.  Well if the sharp guys are winning, most likely the average joes are losing.  If the sharp guys are losing, average joes are most likely winning.  I say this because they usually play opposite plays most of the time.  But no matter what, someone has to win.  Whether its the sportsbook or the bettor.  Also in sportsbetting, there is something called live betting where its like trading.  Basically you can bet on either side while the game is going on when odds change always etc.  But when you live bet, if one player bets this team while another player bets another team... remember each of these players are betting against the sportsbook, one player will win... the other loses.  Thus that is where the skill comes in.  So does anyone here feel like the market dictating winning or losing is just stupid?  I mean if market is down, who is making any money?  Its like ppl say when there is a bull market, everyone thinks they are a genius.  Well if its a bull market, the only thing you have to think about is okay i will buy btc but should i exchange it for altcoin or not and which one.

Anyone here have thoughts or opinions on this?  I got excited about cryptocurrency and trading and wanted to do it.  But now when i look at it, its basically look at the market.  There doesn't seem to be any skill in it.  Can anyone here correct me with any of my statements especially if i made any especially in sportsbetting?  Thanks.

Yes they lose money but it does not mean they cannot take back some profit. It only needs patience to overcome a down market and hodl is what patience is intended. Also panic does not make any good feedback for investors seeing a red market.

Majority of the people lose money and this is quite disheartening in this type of market. Not everyone loses money as their are people that place short trades in the market. These people make money with it in my opinion
Those who lose money are simply those who are dumb enough to end up trading without any knowledge at all. That is certainly what most people in this space do. They opt into trading with very little knowledge and some with no knowledge at all and then think it is just about buying low and selling high. As long as you are a well learned trader, you can make money in any market.
I agreed with what you said because crypto currency trading require a lot of knowledge. Winners chapel, the short/day terms form of trading you mentioned are type of trading that require the high knowledge and I won't advice any newbie - member ranking to try it because aside of technical analysis it also require some fundamental analysis cause ones need to set a time of selling.

Definitely yes! But we can prevent of getting lose by just holding our coins in our wallet. In that scenario, we can say that we will avoid of getting lose. However, holding of coins are always risking our capital and many investors are fear for their assets to be fade away. Therefore, only few investors succeed of holding from entire bear market. Anyway, it is just the simpliest thing to do when there is a crash.
The loss is where the market price is dropped. It is not literally a loss of money but the value of your assets which are dropping. In the bear market the tokens and altcoins that are considered to be investments are deceasing in price - that is why its a "relative" loss. Absolute loss would the total loss of the assets from the investors' pocket but that is not happening here.

Similarly there is relative gain of value when the bull market appears. At that time selling those assets would earn them more money than what they put in.
In my opinion holding crypto with a set stop/loss is the way to go. Think of the people who bought bitcoin at around 500-600$ and held it will last year.

I don't think everyone lose money when the market is down as we always have margin traders.  Only investors and those that buy coins with the mind of holding are the really people that lose money when the market is going and the sell.  Trading is game and it depends on the position you are to makes money.
