Regardless of what the actual issue is, it is fairly obvious that they are incompetent.

Why are they hosting their site on physical servers? If they had run the site on an Azure or AWS node all the would have needed to do is spin up more instances or upgrade their VMs to with better specs. Need 100 more VMs to load balance? Sure, that will take all of 5 minutes.

We are screwed.

All we need is withdrawal. I have to pay my bills but it seems we will not get soon or never Angry

Right. They could easily give us acces to our coins. With trading disabled and acces to one wallet for 24 hours at a time no new servers are needed. So for example let us withdraw Bitcoin on wednesday, Litecoin on Thursday
and so on. Every day acces to another wallet. Until we all have our coins back. This will restrain traffic dramatically. Their old servers wil suffice.

What are the requirements for being considered active on coinrmarketcap? Because they're now listed as inactive there:

God you retards made everything last longer than necessary. Coinsmarkets would've been up and running days ago if it weren't for your whiny, millennial bullshit.

False.  Coinsmarkets are pretending that peoples complaints are what are keeping them offline.

freedom of speech is respect, but childish trolling behavior is being kicked.

I got kick out of the group for asking why they change the name of the Telegram group from "Coinsmarkets Scam" to "Coinsmarkets Exchange". There was no freedom of speech there, you have to agree with the admin there or you get the boot. I wasn't being rude to anybody, i was just question about the name change and call them out on why they sold out to Cm.

Are you serious? This is all just too suspicious.

The group that was originally started to perform a witch hunt is now completely on CM's side and is supposedly where we should be getting first hand updates from? What a crock of shit.

Nobody kicked you from the group for asking why the name was changed.

The initial goal of this group was to find the CM admin to make him post an update.

He was silent since 10 days, no updates, everybody was in panic mode. People sent complaints to his hosting, and this way it reached to him that people are pissed. He made a new update on the site as you well know.

After that happened, most of the people were a bit more calm, but now a new group was pissed because of all these people who searched him to contact him, because now he might change hosting because of the first people who submitted the complain. Really..?

Anyway, after this, a few members mentioned that maybe the scam word can be removed for now. Is not a big deal and as of now the group is named CM Exchange Scam or Legit?

Again, you did not got kicked for asking questions, more probably you were someone who was writing in ALL CAPS LOCK we are doomed, we lost all, lose hope etc. brainless FUD doesn't help and group was turning into the troll box chat.

Well, I'm considering our coins to be lost here. On the upside though, there will be less circulating supply which is good for the price  Smiley

dudes, look when it was their last post on bitcointalk, stop saying stupid facts like they did not login...

i don't want him to login here, i want him to fix the issues

Those two things are not mutually exclusive. If they are fixing the issue, they certainly taking breaks to eat, sleep and probably just for the sake of taking breaks. Posting an update would not interfere with fixing the issue.

They should have told us at least a few days in advance "From January 4th we will be offline for a few weeks due to server maintanance, so please withdraw your coins if you don´t want to wait for us to come back online" and then inform us from time to time how things are going.

But they didn´t say anything and just went offline and even after that there´s no real information.

At least the balances do still show up, that´s why I still do believe they are really trying to come back.

Only what we need now from CM admins - respectfull feedback about what s going on and what last news.
Not in one sentence in chat, but full explanation what s going on.

It really that hard, CM admin? You don t have 10 free minutes for proper explanation?

Guys... please understand.

It's not easy to deplete all 20 million wallets, takes some time, perhaps few weeks. Be patient.

Please change this forum thread name to "Stockholm syndrome affected CM users".

Love you, dev!

They could have keep withdrawl open , or could hold trading of some coins to reduce the load
